Insert email signature with logo iOS8.1

Dear Friends,
i was trying to add a logo (picture) to my email signature, in iphone6 IOS8.1. I can add it and it shows normally in the Signature settings. However it shows only as a blank box when go to the email app and write new email.

Dave,
While I appreciate your distaste for html emails I'm just looking for some help here.
(I don't want to offend you or anyone else on this or any other discussion board but so many times in these discussion sites people talk about their personal opinions rather than offering assistance and it gets frustrating when someone is seeking help.)
No offense taken.
You say that it is dependent on how the recipient's email is set. I can understand that. My email is set to accept/read html messages as most people I know do.
Again, I'm trying to figure out how I can create a signature that uses html within Mail if that is what is needed to achieve my set goal. If the recipient chooses not to have their machine set to see the html then so be it.
But as noted I get html messages. But when I've added a logo to my signature the paper clip shows up and that is what I'm trying to avoid.
OK, how exactly are you "adding a logo" to your signature?
What steps do you take to achieve this?
(Note: I don't use Apple Mail but use Thunderbird.)
Where does the paperclip show up?
If you send email to yourself, do you get the paperclip?
If you sent me an email (address in my profile) would I see it as an attachment?
Are all recipients getting the paperclip?
If this is not possible to do in Mail then so be it. But if so I'm just looking for some help.
I am trying to help...
As far as an html signature, you can certainly put some html in there to point
to an image that is available from a server somewhere

Firefox doesn't do email, it's a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access web mail, you need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

  • HTML Signature with logo does not display when read by clients

I have had this problem for a while now. I am using 10.5.6 and Apple Mail to send all of my emails. I have only one signature for my business email account which is a GoogleMail pro account. I have set up a signature to display my business logo which is sent with every email sent using Apple Mail through the business account with Google.
It seems that all of the emails read by clients only show the text in the signature and not the logo??? This is infuriating as the message should display fine. Is Apple Mail incapable of sending signatures with logos? I previously sent message from Google in Safari but Google do not yet allow you to create signatures with logos, which is why I thought Apple Mail would be able to simply do this.
Can anyone suggest a fix or recommend a decent Email Application that will do this. Is Thunderbird any good?

Well, note that there is no e-mail client that can ensure that your logo will show up in a message, because the recipient controls how e-mail displays. Some people will have HTML display turned off, which means only a plain-text version of your message will be seen. Other people's clients may not show attached images inline. And if the logo is not attached, but is located on your web site and linked to from the e-mail, most e-mail clients have an option to ensure that such images are not loaded. (The reason: this is a common tactic used by spammers to verify addresses... if your e-mail client tries to load the image that is linked in their system to your e-mail address, then they've hit a good address and will start hammering it hard.) Thus, you need to make sure your signature is acceptable in plain text, since no matter what you do, that's all some people will see.
That said, go to Edit -> Attachments and make sure the Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments option is checked. This should ensure that any images in your e-mails will be readable to Windows clients.

  • Email Signatures With Pictures on iOS

Has anyone found a permanent solution to the issue of pasted images in Email Signatures on iOS turning into blank boxes?  I'm able to successfully paste my email signature into the settings in iOS but after a few minutes, they turn into blank boxes.
From everything I have read, there doesn't seem to be a long-term solution to this.  Anyone come across a fix for this?
    Thanks

OK - on my iPad, in portrait mode, I do not see the colored areas beneath your menu, although I do see their content. In landscape I do see the colored areas. Then I see the original logo in both portrait and landscape, I miss the next two images, then I see the next, larger image, and finally I miss the last two.
Is there a CMYK issue with PNG images?  Anyhow, under any circumstances, you should reduce the physical dimensions of ALL those images (and hence their weight).  They are much too large.

Any idea how to get the apple logo on a mail signature on my macbook pro? I cannot seem to do this!!

You can use the Mail app to add a signature and logo to any of your accounts.
Web based email can't use signatures at this time.
Google for instructions and the stuff you'll need to create a signature.

  • Signature with logo

    Hi All,
I would like to use my company´s logo in my signature. But I don´t want to send it as attachment every time I send an e-mail. In thunderbird I could select an html file as signature which just links to an image on our server. Is there any similar way to do this kind of stuff in lion´s mail.app?
    Thanks
    Timo

    Thanks for the reply Tony.
Yes I know. This is what I´m doing right now. But the image is sent as an attachment. So every mail I send (and receive in bcc) contains the image as an attachment. Resulting in loads of duplicate images in my account plus I cannot filter for sent mails with "real" attachments. Not very useful. That´s why I just want to use a html file containing my contact data and a link to our logo on our server as a signature.
    Cheers
    Timo

  • What is the best way to add multiple images with links into an email signature?

I created an email signature with five linked images by:
    * creating new message
    • attached the image
    • adding link to the image
    • copied new email signature
    • under Preferences/Signature added the new signature
It all works, but some of the emails bounced back. When we removed the images, the email went through.
I  tried putting all the images into Photoshop and making it all one image, used the slice tool to create a link for each image and brought that single image into the signature, but that didn't work as separate links.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Bob.
So what I should have done on my PC for all my files is gone to the File menu and used the Package command which would have converted it into a file with the images in it so they wouldn't need to be relinked.
From now on I will only be working on Mac (I gave away my PC) but I'm sure I could use a friend's pc (or at a later point install Windows on my Mac). But to use the Package command on PC I need to actually have the images in the correct folder on the PC right?

  • Resize html image in email signature

Hi, I have been trying to insert my company logo in my email signature on Outlook Client 2013 but the results have been disappointing. Would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you in advance!
My company logo is in png-format. Its dimensions are 1221 x 374 px, and has a dpi of192. Its size is 37.9 KB.
I have read from various online sources that it is better to resize the image such that it is not larger than 10 KB.
However, I do not want to resize the image (to ideal width: 150 px) before inserting it in the signature editor, because doing that is bound to degrade the resolution of the image, no matter how good the photo editor is. I have tried gimp and various
photo editors, but the resulting picture quality is poor and grainy. I can barely make out the text in the logo.
These are the 4 methods that I have tried:
    1. I followed this YouTube tutorial. I insert the image in signature editor. The location of the image is at my Desktop. Save and close.
I insert the signature in a new email. The resulting image is large and appears according to its original dimensions in my signature. So I resize the image in the inserted email signature, copy that resized image, then paste it in the signature
editor. The resized image will appear, with reduced dimensions. I save and close the signature editor.
Then, I insert the signature again in the email. The dimensions of the image are correct and they appear perfect. So I do a test by sending an email to myself. When I view the email on Outlook Client, the image looks perfect. However, on Outlook
Web App, the image is extremely large and out of place. I have been racking my brains on how to solve this problem.
    2. Same as step 1. But instead of inserting the logo from my Desktop, I inserted the logo located on the web by typing its URL in full. I used: Insert > Link to File.
However, the same problem appears. The image in the send email looks great on Outlook Client, but too large on Outlook Web App.
    3. Re-render the image to 96 dpi using IrfanView. I read from this source that Outlook will rescale any image that is not 96 dpi.
Tried Step 1 again. But image size in Outlook Web App is too large again.
    4. I followed the steps in this link to create a HTML email signature. I used an online WYSIWYG HTML editor
to generate the HTML code. I realised that altering the height and width of the image in the html changes the size of the image only in the WYSIWYG editor. I believe that Outlook Client overrides all provided image dimensions.
Thank you so much for your help!

    Hi Joy,
    Try this.
Compose the signature in Outlook, insert the original image, resize it to the correct size, by dragging the image using mouse.
Compress using inbuilt Outlook tool, this should not degrade the quality of the image much.
Click the picture or pictures that you want to change the resolution for.
Under Picture Tools, on the Format tab, in the
    Adjust group, click Compress Pictures.
If you do not see the Picture Tools and Format tabs, make sure that you selected a picture. You may have to double-click the picture to select it and open the
    Format tab.
To change the resolution for the selected pictures only and not all of the pictures in the document, select the
Apply only to this picture check box.
Under Target output, click the resolution that you want.
Now, copy all and create a new Signature out of this.
Send out an email with this new signature and see if it works on OWA.
Ensure you are checking it on the same PC and the Web browser is on 100% zoom level.
In my case its appearing slightly smaller on Browser then on PC. Check if its same on different PCs as well.

    Satyajit

  • Email Signature HTML Issue

    Hello,
I need some help. A few months ago I created an email signature with HTML for a client. Pretty standard code.
I created a test signature within outlook.
I located the signature files on my computer through: User/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Signatures
I could see the three signature file formats (HTML Document, Rich Text Format and Text Document). When I opened the text file, there was a bunch of code. I would navigate to the specific section and insert my custom HTML code (the code that I wrote).
    Everything worked perfectly.
However, now when I navigate to the same signature file.. and open them.. the naturally generated code for the signature file is not appearing. If I open the HTML document, and view the page source then I am able to see it.
Any ideas why it's not appearing within the Text Document?
    Thank you!

    Hello,
By "Text Document", do you mean the Plain Text signature (.txt file)?
As the name suggests, Plain Text does not support any type of formatting. For example, if you include an image in your signature, as shown below, the plain text version will be blank. So if you enter any HTML code into the Plain Text signature, it will not
    work.
If you want to modify the Plain Text signature, please refer to the following KB article and look at the "Modifying the Plain Text signature" section:
    http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/signatures.htm
    Hope this helps.

  • E-signature with photo goes out as an attachment

I am very new to MacBook. I recently created e-mail signature with a photo. When an e-mail is sent to Mac, it shows the signature with a photo in the body of the text and also shows the signature as an attachment. But when the same e-mail is sent to PC, the signature with a photo shows only as an attachment. It creates a problem since recipient has to open the attachment to read the signature.
Is there any way to send email signature with a photo not as an attachment?
Thank you in advance for your kind assistance.

Apple Mail encrypts messages differently than the rest of the Pack.
It embeds Attachments into the body of the message.
Everyone else Attaches it separate from the body.
To comply, Mail (I think) complies with both.
And when .Mac subscriber emails other .Mac subscriber,
they both use Apple's system, when Gmail-er emails Yahoo-er
or .Mac-er emails Gmail-er Mail attaches it both ways.

  • OS 10.4.11 Mail 2.1 - Can't 'indent' email signature text?

I created an html email signature with indented text in Mail 3.4 (I'm OSX 10.5.4), for someone to use in Mail 2.1 on an eMac OSX 10.4.11.
When I tried to paste the indented styled text into their signatures, the indentation style was lost, and I noted that Mail 2.1 doesn't have the 'Indentation' option under the main 'Format' heading.
Is it not possible to indent text within Emails on 2.1 on OS 10.4.11? I can't find any reference to indentations anywhere!
    Any insights appreciated... thanks.

    Hi,
Yes text is RTF, have given up on indents for the moment, but still hoping to get an answer on this just for peace of mind!
Another email question... I've styled up emails to send in RTF in Times, which should be a universal system font (I thought). however, when emails reach the recipient the Swedish umlauts have disappeared to be replaced with a question mark, like there's a missing character. It also substitutes (some) character spaces with the same question mark. Is this a Text encoding issue, should I be sending all emails with Umlauts etc as UTF-8 Unicode messages?
    Thanks!

  • IOS 7 Email Signature Issues

I have been experiencing issues with showing email signatures with images on my iOS 7 and 7.1 decices. I post this topic on the iPad section because the same issue is showing up on both my iPhone 5S and my iPad Mini 2. Since my iPad is less than 24 hours old I figure this is an issue with iOS 7 since both devices are showing the same error.
I have a work email signature which has some text and 8 images. I am trying to simply use the same signature that I use for my works webmail and Outlook. So according to my research I found that it is possible to add an HTML email signature on my iPhone and iPad which are both on iOS 7.1 currently but the same issue was with 7 up to now. So I read that for email signatures that have more than just text(images and HTML) you simply email that signature to your self and copy the email signature and then paste in with that specific emails signature section under Settings - Mail - Signature and then that specific email.
When I did this the signature was able to paste just fine and display as I wanted it and even correctly used HTML image and text links that I have in it.
I was then able to reply to work emails as well as compose them with the email signature working just fine. But when I either tried to compose or reply to a work email abut the 3rd or 4th time I would see the email signature text and text html links working but each image turned into a white box. I first closed out of the settings apps to see if it was a glitch and found out that this change happens for some reason. So I then have to repete my copy and past process to get the signature back to the way I had it again.
The same thing happens ever time after about 3 tries to see if the email signature is working or not.
So my question is how can I use my html email signature on my iPhone and iPad with iOS 7.1 so the images do not turn into white boxes and stay exactly like I paste them in the email signature field?
This gets very old copy and pasting that soon each time. Does anyone have a solution that would allow me to set up the email signature how I want by a copy and paste and when I send an email with the default mail app on iOS 7.1 the email signature stays as it should?
Here is a screenshot of my email signature before and after so you can see what I am talking about (I did blur personal data to protect me)

I tried the exact same steps as the original post which lead me down the path to search for a fix.
I wanted to have a separate signature for work and one for personal use.  Each signature would display correctly in the signature setup.  I found two interesting actions in troubelshooting:
If I created the signature in Settings while the mail app was open, I could create a new email with an image displayed correctly.
If I did the above, closed the mail app and reopened it; created a new email, the image would not display.
If I created the signature while the mail app was closed; and then opened and created a new email; the image would not display.
I initially created the signature in another program and emailed it to myself so that I could copy/paste the signature into the Settings field.  After step one above; I found that I 'could' get the image to display if:
I went back to the original message I sent to myself; opened the message; created a new email from that screen (not forward or reply)
I could get the image to display also if I was in the folder of the email that contained the image in the signature.
Interesting that the mail app does not appear to be referrencing the image from the Signature settings although it does for the text and hyperlink.  The mail app appears to be referencing the image locally from within the mail app cache?  I'm not a developer, however, there is something within the program that the new message is able to reference from within to pull the image.
