Insert HTML area within Scroll Area

Hi,
how can i insert HTML arean within the Scroll area.? Scroll area contains HTML area only. while i am saving the page, it raise an error message like "No data for scroll: RecordName.Scroll Area. (15,19)". Any one tell me the solution for that.

Did you bind the HTML Area to a Derived/Work record? A scroll doesn't make much sense without data, because the point of a scroll is to iterate over a series of rows. If the Derived/Work record doesn't help, then add a field from some other record. If you really don't want data, then just create a record, build it, but don't put any data in it. You can set the field to hidden so it doesn't visibly appear. It just needs to be in the grid.

    Hey Ananya,
    I believe what you want to do is possible, but it will not be
    easy.  If you want to add a scroll bar that will scroll the graph
    back and forth but keep the axis set, you would want to add a
    horizontal or vertical scrollbar.  Then you would create an event
    handler for the scroll event.  You would have to manually plot
    different data within this scroll event.  Unfortunately, there is
    not really a built in way to do this with the Measurement Studio plot
    control.

  • How to add a parallax scrolling (jquerry plugin) to Muse with Insert HTML?

    I know the parallax scrolling feature will come to muse in 2 weeks. But I must do a website with parallax scrolling before that time.
    I actually have a site ready in MUSE but i want to add some parallax scrolling effects to this site. I know this is possible without the incoming muse updates because people did it with older muse versions.
    There are some jquerry plugins that should do the work:
    http://plugins.jquery.com/stellar/
    http://plugins.jquery.com/parallax/   for example.
    How can i add these effects to Muse with insert html/Edit html feature? I am not good at code so Could you please tell me the steps clearly even like putting the plugin into the directory?
    Even if i include the plugin, how can i adjust the pluginn settings to some specific elements of a site?
    Please help,
    thank you!

    If you're not comfortable with code, the simplest way to add parallax to Muse would be to join the Muse beta and download the beta build with the new parallax feature.

    Hello,
    I'm pretty new in XML ... then I still learn a lot by myself !!!
    I surfed to a lot of forums and examples ....
    I have a XML file. I built a XSL file in order to insert a part of my XML file into a table.
    The 2 files are loaded as CLOB into a DB table.
    I wrote a PLSQL procedure for this job.

    So, if I understand what you mean ... I should write something like this :
         insert into item_club
              select t2.partnum, t2.productname, to_number(replace(t2.usprice, '.', ','))
              from odab_xml_tab t
              , xmltable('*' passing t.xml.extract('purchaseOrder/items/*')
              columns partNum varchar2(35) path '@partNum'
              , productName varchar2(35) path 'productName'
              , USPrice varchar2(35) path 'USPrice'
              ) t2
    Its a change in our code.. but that looks nice !!!
    Thanks,

  • HTML Area: PeopleSoft

    I would like to select the Recruiting locations from a a HTML area populated from a table. I need to use these populated values as the search critera to search for a Job Opening
    (Something similar to this:https://careers.verizonwireless.com/psp/erphrprd/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/HRS_HRAM.HRS_CE.GBL). In this link the locations and job families are populated to a HTML area.
    I am currently able to populate the values similar to the link but unable to code the logic to select the locations/job families from that HTML area. Is there a HTML code involved in this?
    This somehow is not similar to a check box where the flag is Y or N or like a drop down where you select the translate value from that feild.
    Advantage of using a HTML area is you can select multiple values at a time but I need someone's help to code logic on selected values(I know I have to place this values in an Array but what do I equate the array to i.e what input???).

    The JavaScript and HTML required to replicate that page's behavior is available on-line. Just use your browser's view source feature to view the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. From the HTML, you can see that this page contains several HTML Areas. Some HTML Areas define the JavaScript used to process the mutliple options and others define the HTML used to create the multi-select input boxex. What you can't see from the HTML is the PeopleCode that was used to build the option elements or the PeopleCode that was used to process the comma delimited list of selected values. You will need to use your own imagination to add these features. I would build the option list in a RowInit event. PeopleCode has a split function, so parsing a comma delimited list is trivial.

  • Inserting HTML/CSS in a Tabbed Panel

    I've been having trouble inserting HTML/CSS into a Tabbed Panel widget. In this case, the HTML/CSS is creating a text box with scroll bars (as described in an excellent workaround for getting scroll bars to work).
    Has anyone else come across this situation?
    Thanks!

    I'm not seeing the same problem (the scrolling text box displays fine in the tabbed panel for me).
    Does your HTML container fit within the content area of the panel?

  • Inserted HTML does NOT push content when resized

    Hi,
    we are building a website for a hotel and are bound to include their channel manager module into the site. In order to do that, you have to follow these steps:
    1. Paste JavaScript code into the head section to load the module.
    2. Place a short line of code with "insert HTML" into the site where the module should appear and that's it.
    The module is generated by a server-side script from the channel manager's server and pasted into an iFrame that is also generated by this very script. The thing is: It resizes the height of the iFrame depending on the displayed content in the iFrame. So we start with 301 px height when we call the page and start the search for free rooms. The results are displayed on a 1400 px iFrame, which resizes properly when showing the results.
    THE PROBLEM: The footers stays put and the iFrame runs behind it and off the display port. There is also no scrollbar showing up allowing me to scroll to the bottom of the iFrame.
    We got three layers:
    3. Top Layer (Containing top navigation and footer, both defined in a master page that is applied to the content page)
    2. Content Layer (Containing the inserted HTML with the generated iFrame)
    1. Background Layer (Well, it contains background elements)
    WE NEED: The footer to be pushed by the ever resizing iFrame and get a scrollbar when neccessary due to iFrame height.
    What are we doing wrong?

    Thank you for your suggestions, although I don't think they will fix the problem.
    We cannot alter the server script in any way, since it is located on the channel manager's server and is just called with a customer id to show our client's hotel related data. They resize the iFrame using an inline height style tag. This causes the page to not recognize the size change and not even showing a scrollbar at all, when the iFrame exceeds the view port.
    We already put a div around the JS-call which expands with the iFrame as expected.
    <div id="u1218"><!-- custom html -->
    <div>
    <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">
    function();
    </script>
    </div>
    </div>
    This results in an iFrame inserted after the script tag, the div around the script expands correctly. We already removed any master page objects, created a blank new master page to define header and footer areas and pasted our menu and footer directly into the page of question on the same layer as the inserted html box went. So for our understanding the expanding div around the script should push the footer on this page to whereever it ends. It just doesn't. Also we do not get any scrollbar, although the iFrame clearly gets larger than the viewport area and the page just doesn't recognize it.

  • "null" when trying to insert HTML embed code after 2014.3 update

    I am currently attempting to insert the HTML code of an excel spreadsheet into my adobe muse site. If I copy paste the embed code directly onto the page, nothing happens. If I try the "insert HTML" function, when I paste the embed code there, it simply places "null". I have successfully pasted the same embed code into my muse site before, but the problem began after I updated to Muse 2014.3. Please help me with this as it is inhibiting me from the production of my website where the embedded spreadsheets are extremely important.

  • I recieve my reciepts from all of my Apple purchases via email to my email cllient "MS Outlook 2003" on a Windows 7 Home Premium platform. I cannot format the print appearance of HTML documents within Outlook and the print border cuts of the last digit?

    I use MS Outlook as my email client under Windows 7 Home Premium and when I receive a reciept from Apple for purchases made for my iPhone (Stores or iTunes) the HTML formatting cuts off the last digit of the price paid on my eReceipts (the only receipts I get). Outlook 2003 does not allow for HTML print formatting since they (HTMLs) are formatted from the source (Apple). Can you help me to get Apple to fix this or find a workaround?

    Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app.  I am certain other applications also need this information.  Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information.  Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. • Inserting html into a composition in muse

    Hi, I am trying to insert some html into a composition in Muse.  I would like to have a clickable button trigger, and then a kind of overlay opens up with an interactive calculator inside.  I have the html for the calculator, the problem is no matter how I try to insert it into Muse, the calculator either disappears (as well as the trigger) for some reason, or the calculator stays on the page the entire time, losing the whole clickable effect.
    Can someone tell me the best way to do this?

    Hello,
    Which Composition are you trying to Use ? Blank,Featured News, Lightbox Display, Presentation or Tooltip ?
    Also Make Sure to drag and drop the inserted HTML window over the target (Border of target gets activated once you move it over), Hopefully this will work.
    I created the same using Tooltip composition and its working fine. Please take a look at the link.
    Home
    If it do not work then please share the calculator HTML  code that you are inserting so that I can do some test at my end.
