Insert point showing up in firefox, how do i remove it?

Recently i noticed i got an insert point showing up anywhere i click on the browser, ill post a picture to show what it looks like, how do i get it removed?

You can toggle caret browsing on/off by pressing F7 (Mac: fn + F7).
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Accessibility: [ ] "Always use the cursor keys to navigate within pages"

Nope that's not it, I always use that particular ID, but the @me.com portion of the Apple ID is missing when trying to download from the App Store on the Phone.
It is grayed out inside the App Store app so I can't change it there and I already changed it in the settings.
The entire Apple ID is fine in the Settings so I don't get why the App Store ID is different and missing information.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

Insertion point/caret/cursor blinking rate - how to change? It's killing me

Just switched and was happy untill installed Office. The caret/cursor blinking rate is just killing me with it slowness.
How can I change its rate? Any command for terminal? Any third party application? Anything?

If "Sweet" IM is "riding" in on Firefox, how is it removed from Firefox? I have removed it from my laptop via Windows Controls, but it continues to display on FB.

I recently downloaded the Sweet IM emoticon app to augment my Yahoo Messenger app. I later removed it from my list of Windows pgms using the Control Panel, remove pgms feature, and I deleted all the Sweet IM cookies. All that appears to have worked. But the Sweet IC toolbar continues to appear embedded in the body of my FB page at the top just above where new statuses are entered. It also continues to appear in all my chat windows. Any ideas on how I can get rid of these displays? They are now unnecessary page clutter. Thank you.

Growl & Notification Center conflict on Firefox: how do I remove growl ghost files?

Hi everyone,
I'm exeperiecing un unpleasent issue with Firefox. Not working appearing in Notification Center!!!!!
- I have the latest version of Firefox, so I'm sure it's supported.
- I had Growl 1.2, which is the most updated version of the "non-App store" version of the software.
- Never bothered to buy the super expensive version for the App Store.
- I removed all the software in Growl preferences so that they would appear in Notification center instead, and that worked fine, except for Firefox.
- I also uninstalled Growl, and checked the website for instructions on removing every single file (http://growl.info/documentation/growl-package-removal.php#1.2easy). But that didn't work either.
- Firefox seems to keep generating some files when I start a download in order to run growl, so even if I erase them they still show up the the Library.
- I tried reinstalling Firefox, didn't work.
- Tried reinstalling Growl 1.2, but Mountain Lion won't allow it, so I can't even reinstall it and run the uninstaller later.
What on earth am I supposed to do?

You want to Hide the app in the App Store (as seventy one suggested). This will stop you from recieving notifications about updates.
In Mountain Lion, fnd the app in Purchases. Right click on it, and choose "Hide Purchase..."

PCPowerBoost has taken over FireFox; how can I remove it?

When downloading Adobe Flash, I got a bundle of other stuff (unwanted). I was able to uninstall all but PCPowerBoost 1.0.5. That seems to have infected FireFox. When I open FireFox, the search engine that comes up is Astromendia. I deleted that from my list of programs but I believe it's embedded in PCPowerBoost. I have uninstalled and reloaded FireFox but with the same result. How can I get rid of PCPowerBoost?

If you have already uninstalled it, likely there are just some residual files leftover. You can first check your extensions to see if that didn't get removed:

You can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/ Search Reset Tool] extension to reset some of your settings. Installing this will set your home page, new tab page, and search preferences to the default settings and then the extension will uninstall itself.

When browsing Ebay, on each photo there is a [See Similar] button on the window. If I just brush the button a large window opens with a group of junk items for sale. In my opinion, this is a completely worthless piece of crap that I DO NOT WANT ON MY COMPUTER.

CS6 apps still show in CC manager :/ How do I remove?

I have used App Cleaner to remove the old versions of the CS6 suite ... and they're still showing up in the CC manager after I have installed the CC versions of the apps. So now I have double the apps listed in the installed panel of the menu bar app.
Any way to remove these old versions completely to get them to disappear?

Just to add to the suggestions that Manish gave, remove the Creative Cloud desktop app using this Adobe Creative Cloud cleaner tool(http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and then rename the below mentioned folders
On MAC:
/Application/utilities/Adobe Application Manager/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
On Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE (on 64 bit OS) or
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE (on 32 bit OS)
C:\Users\(User_name)\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
Then login to creative.adobe.com and download the Creative Cloud desktop app and check.

When i use images in an applet, it shows the image url, how do i remove it?

Ok, so when i open up an applet, and it uses images, it shows the url for each image, which is not good because my graphics could get stolen. Is there anyway to disable this?, i have never noticed it before.

The image will be preloaded by using MediaTracker to monitor the loaded state of the image. The icon's description is initialized to be a string representation of the URL."
I guess if you are using this - or something similar - Java runtimes might decide to show the string representation of the URL while they are loading the image. In this particular case there is another form of the constructor which allows you to actually set the description string.

This kind of error usually occurs when there are any errors in the hierarchy. So Make sure that there are no errors in hierarchy of the custom dimension Load the metadata with "Clear All" Metadata Before Loading option selected.
Check if there are any special characters in the metadata file.
