Insert Table Problem

I am actually really new to Dreamweaver MX, so I am not sure
what I am doing wrong.
At first , I did open that " Insert Table" icon, and filled
out following values( Rows, Columns..),then Navigated to hard drive
folder and selected a logo picture, but when I
clicked OK, it gave me mistake message, it said not allowing
to share files ??? And it closed the table dialog and the programm
itself. So since then I cant open that " Insert Table" icon. Icon
is actually active and I am not on Layout view. Does anybody know
about that" sharing files" problem and how can I fix my problem?
Thank you very much!

Dreamweaver MX? Wow - that's old.
Can you tell us the version #?
On a PC, go to Program Files/Macromedia/Dreamweaver MX/ and
find the
dreamweaver.exe file. Right click, choose Properties, and
then click on the
Version tab - the version number is towards the top of that
tab, like
On a Mac, get info on the Dreamweaver App, and I believe it's
right on that
panel.

  • Labview 2013 report generation toolkit word 2010 insert table problem

    Hi,
    I am currently evaluating LV2013 with respect to the report generation toolkit for use with word 2010. My Vi/program won't insert the correct table and gives me an error message. see below:-
    Exception occured in Microsoft Word: The requested member of the collection does not exist.Help Path is wdmain11.chm and context 25421 in NI_ReportGenerationToolkit.lvlib:Word_Insert_Table.vi->NI_Word.lvclass:Append Text Table to Report.vi->Word Table save.vi
    I have since run the following word example.vi provided by NI within LV2013 office examples:- Growable table.vi. this gives me the same error!
    Exception occured in Microsoft Word: The requested member of the collection does not exist.Help Path is wdmain11.chm and context 25421 in NI_ReportGenerationToolkit.lvlib:Word_Insert_Table.vi->NI_Word.lvclass:Append Text Table to Report.vi->Growable table.vi
    It would seem that regardless of my own Vi there is a fundamental problem in the office example vi.
    I have found examples of a similar problem in LV2011/2012 but the work around code doesn't seem to match the LV2013 vi's code for a direct replacement.
    Can anyone help/shed some light on this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Dan.

    Because the upgrade of Word from 2007 to 2010 I needed to upgrade an existing application from LabVIEW 2009 to 2013. This didn't work because of the insert table error. I discovered that the problem is the vi called "Word_Insert_Table.vi" located in the ..Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2013\vi.lib\addons\_office\_wordsub.llb. There is a "Cut" command implemented, this command removes the created cell instead of clearing it. Therefore the table will be filled half and then returnes with an error. I have removed this command. I have posted the changed vi (LV 2013).

  • Dreamweaver CS4 Insert Table button does not work.

    I recently upgrade from an older version of Dreamweave to Dreamweaver CS4. But now I have a problem with inserting tables.
    They have the dropdown on the top right for Classic, Coder, Coder Plus and so on. I was using classic and everything was fine, then all of a sudden if I try using the Insert Table button from the Inserts tab, it does nothing. If I right click on the button, then click on the button it works, and if i switch to any other view it works. so then I used Coder and it was fine, but then again it stopped working. So I switched to Coder Plus and it was fine for a few more days and then it stops working again. I have rebooted my machine, closed out of DW and nothing seems to fix it. I just installed all adobe software updates and there was nothing in the update that fixed the problem. Does anyone else have this issue and if so, how do I fix it?
    I have searched google and I can't find anything. I can keep switching views but one day soon if it continues, I'm going to run out of views and Its such a habit to use the button instead of the Ctrl+Alt+T shortcut.

    try the following
    Recreate Dreamweaver CS4 Configuration and registry
    - rename the configuration folder to any name. (just add any character I suggest)
    C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\Configuration
    - recreate the registry folder
    Start > run > regedit
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Adobe>Dreamweaver>10. Rename 10 ex: 10_old
    maybe you can post your specs here for more specific troubleshooting. Cheers!

  • Dreamweaver MX create tables problem

    I am using Dreamweaver MX 6.0 and tried to create a table in standard view, but a sharing error message appeared and shut down the program.  When I opened again and tried to create the table again, the dialog window didn't even open after clicking on the insert table button.  I installed an update to 6.1, but it still didn't work.   I have Windows 7 operating system and am wondering if the problem is due to a compatibility issue with an old program and newer operating system???  Any suggestions or help with this problem would be great!

    Based on the info. provided, seems to me the value for 'javaee.home' in build.properties may not be correct. Make sure that the property javaee.home in build .properties pints to valid installtion of application server, for ex. if you do 'dir' or 'ls' you should see javadb directory at this location.
    Also check if you have a build.properties file under windows user directory (in addition to bp-project under tutorial) and if it points to a different application server installation.

  • MS05 transaction throws "SQL error: error during INSERT (table: &)"

    Hi Team,
    I am a BASIS engineer on MM system. we have a strange problem from customers we see an error on the MS05 screen with "SQL error: error during INSERT (table: &)" and when the support team runs MS01 transaciton this error gets resolved.
    What I would like to know is what could be the likely cause of this error and how we can prevent it.
    When I check the SM21 logs i noticed one log with "Transaction cancellation 61 204 ( PLAF )"
    and under additional document section is the log I see the below information
    Usually, the reason for this error is that an entry already exists
    with the same key.
    This problem can occur if the client was copied with the movement data
    without adjusting the number range intervals.
    Please check if the number ranges for this table have been set
    correctly and, if necessary, correct the number range interval.
    I am from BASIS and I have no clue in how the MM transactions are linked can any MM gurus help in identifying the root cause for this problem.
    any help on this is highly appreciated
    thanks
    Vijay

    Hi
    Are MS05 & MS01 you're referring is a T-code?. if so, then they are associated with planning and a PP consultant can give a more clear picture on it. Try posting this to a PP forum.
    Based on the error log, i guess this may arise because of the number range problem, when the document is getting saved and record is being tried to inserted into a table.
    Thanks

  • Autonomous Trigger / Mutating Table Problem

    We have a specific problem in one of our applications being developed where by the database needs to enforce a specific business requirement.
    We need to use a database trigger to enforce some data integrity which involves more than one table as such cannot use standard constraint. The integrity has to be maintained in the database as the DML statements may be coming from a Java application or PL/SQL code as such we need the logic all in one place.
    The problem being that within the trigger we need to examine the state of the table the trigger is associated with as well as one other table. Obviously using a trigger on a table that is being affected by DML statements causes the dreaded mutating table problem.
    One suggested solution to this was to make the trigger or the code the trigger called autonomous. This allows the trigger to execute by only showing the trigger the original state of the table before any of the DML statements have affected it.
    The problem is this seems to work for single row DML statements but not for multi row DML statements. In multi row the trigger only sees the original state of the table, not the state of the table plus the changes made by any other actions in the same DML statement.
    Below I have shown an example of what I'm seeing.
    I have grossly simplified the example code below to only refer to a single table and use stupidly simple logic
    I do realise i appear to be implementing uniqueness in my own PL/SQL code, this is purely for the example.
    CREATE TABLE mutate_test
    id INTEGER NOT NULL,
    value VARCHAR2(255) NOT NULL
    ALTER TABLE mutate_test ADD CONSTRAINT pk_mutate_test PRIMARY KEY(id);
    ALTER TABLE mutate_test ADD CONSTRAINT ck_mutate_test CHECK (value = UPPER(value));
    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION duplicate_found(in_value IN mutate_test.value%TYPE) RETURN BOOLEAN IS
    PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION;
    v_value_found INTEGER;
    BEGIN
    SELECT COUNT(*)
    INTO v_value_found
    FROM mutate_test
    WHERE value = in_value;
    IF v_value_found > 0 THEN
    RETURN TRUE;
    ELSE
    RETURN FALSE;
    END IF;
    END;
    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER tr_mutate_test BEFORE INSERT OR UPDATE ON mutate_test
    FOR EACH ROW
    BEGIN
    IF duplicate_found(:new.value) = TRUE THEN
    RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR(-20000,'Duplicate value found');
    END IF;
    END;
    INSERT INTO mutate_test (id,value) VALUES (1,'CLIFF');
    INSERT INTO mutate_test (id,value) VALUES (2,'SULA');
    COMMIT;
    SELECT * FROM mutate_test;
    -- Should fail as row 1 already has a value of CLIFF
    INSERT INTO mutate_test (id,value) VALUES (3,'CLIFF');
    COMMIT;
    SELECT * FROM mutate_test;
    -- Should fail as row 1 is already set to CLIFF
    UPDATE mutate_test SET value = 'CLIFF' WHERE id = 2;
    COMMIT;
    SELECT * FROM mutate_test;
    UPDATE mutate_test SET value = 'CLIFFORD' WHERE id = 1;
    COMMIT;
    SELECT * FROM mutate_test;
    INSERT INTO mutate_test (id,value) VALUES (3,'RONNY');
    INSERT INTO mutate_test (id,value) VALUES (4,'TIM');
    INSERT INTO mutate_test (id,value) VALUES (5,'MONIQUE');
    COMMIT;
    SELECT * FROM mutate_test;
    -- Wanted result would be row 1 would be updated from CLIFFORD to CLIFF
    -- and the others raise errors, or all of them raise errors.
    UPDATE mutate_test SET value = 'CLIFF' WHERE id IN (1,3,4);
    COMMIT;
    SELECT * FROM mutate_test;

    This is all from a University application that deals with eLearning.
    Shell = Mapping from the system to an external eLearning application, ie: unique id of the Blackboard course shell, or WebBoard board.
    Term = Academic term
    Sector = University sector, ie: Higher Education, TAFE, etc..
    Resource = eLearning tool, ie: Blackboard, WebBoard, etc..
    Resource Level = Whether the resource is being offered at a Course or Program level
    Resource Mapping = Association of a resource to shell
    What we are trying to achieve is that shells cannot be used across sector boundaries.
    The real table structure is (grossly simplified again)
    CREATE TABLE sector (sector_pk INTEGER PRIMARY KEY);
    CREATE TABLE sector_pattern (sector_pk INTEGER REFERENCES sector(sector_pk), pattern CHAR(2) NOT NULL UNIQUE CHECK (pattern = UPPER(pattern)));
    CREATE TABLE term (term_pk INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, term CHAR(4) NOT NULL UNIQUE CHECK (term = UPPER(term)));
    CREATE TABLE resource_level (resource_level_pk INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, term_pk INTEGER REFERENCES term(term_pk));
    CREATE TABLE shell_detail (shell_detail_pk INTEGER PRIMARY KEY);
    CREATE TABLE resource_mapping (resource_mapping INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, resource_level_pk INTEGER REFERENCES resource_level(resource_level_pk), shell_detail_pk INTEGER REFERENCES shell_detail(shell_detail_pk));
    Based on the Ask Tom article linked I'd liked to use a MATERIALIZED VIEW on the following query
    SELECT DISTINCT rm.shell_detail_pk,sp.sector_pk
    FROM resource_mapping rm, resource_level rl, term t, sector_pattern sp
    WHERE rm.resource_level_pk = rl.resource_level_pk
    AND rl.term_pk = t.term_pk
    AND SUBSTR(t.term,3,2) = sp.pattern;
    Then apply a UNIQUE constraint on that VIEW.
    But I'm receiving a
    SQL Error: ORA-12054: cannot set the ON COMMIT refresh attribute for the materialized view
    I'm not sure how to create the MATERIALIZED VIEW LOG entries for the above VIEW.
    Any ideas anyone? ;)
    Need to do some more reading and research but as Tom says
    "I'm asking around about the future of "SQL" as far as enhancments go like that
    (will update when I get some feedback), but -- you are not limited to triggers
    (in fact, I would avoid triggers as it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to implement
    cross row/cross object constraints with them!!!! at least correctly)"
    So I think i'll give up on the TRIGGER approach as it doesn't meet our requirements.

  • Unable to insert table in design view???

    Im using Dreamweaver MX 6.0, been using it for a while
    trouble free. Recently installed it on my new Vista laptop, install
    went fine, program opens fine. I was in design view today, tried to
    insert a table and was initially getting some weird error message,
    but the table WAS created. After a few minutes I went to make a
    change and the program crashed. Started Dreamweaver again, tried to
    insert a table and nothing happens. I can click the insert table
    button, try Insert >>> Table, and nothing happens, no
    error message, nothing.
    If I manually enter the code to create a table, I AM able to
    do that, and I can edit it in design view, such as splitting a
    cell, etc.. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

    ANN: 6.1 Updater on build 1714
    Macromedia has been working with our customers to track down
    the source
    of problems a minority of users have been having with the ...
    Dreamweaver MX
    6.1 updater. Several users reported that the updater
    incorrectly indicates
    that it cannot find the Dreamweaver
    application or executable file in the specified folder and
    doesn't perform
    the update. While researching this, we found that there were
    several
    different causes for similar issues. Those solutions are all
    detailed in the
    technote at:
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/dreamweaver/ts/documents/dmx_updater_issues.htm.
    However, we also noticed that many customers were trying to
    update a build
    of Dreamweaver MX, 1714, that was never legally released to
    the public or
    made available for purchase. The release version of
    Dreamweaver MX 6.0 is
    build 1722, and build 1714 was only released to a small group
    of beta
    testers under a non-disclosure agreement. Beta testers
    received the final
    build of Dreamweaver MX at the completion of the beta
    program.
    Because build 1714 is not a commercial release, it cannot be
    updated and
    should not be used for any purpose as it is not a legally
    licensed version
    of Dreamweaver MX. To purchase a copy of Macromedia

    could without your

  • Insert Table is grayed out

    In my DW CS3 insert tables is grayed out also in the Common
    tab area it's grayed out?
    [email protected]

    Now - whatever you do, DO NOT GO BACK to layout mode. It's
    the source of a
    high percentage of all the posts here (in one way or
    another).
    In my opinion, there are three serious problems with Layout
    Mode -
    1. Perhaps most importantly, it sits between you and *real*
    HTML tables,
    and fools you into believing that concepts like "layout cell"
    and
    "autostretch" really mean something. They do not. As long as
    you use
    Layout Mode, you'll never learn one of the most important
    things for new web
    developers - how to build solid and reliable tables.
    2. Actually, #1 wouldn't be *so* bad, except that the code
    that is written
    by Layout Mode is really poor code. For example, a layout
    table contains
    MANY empty rows of cells. This can contribute to a table's
    instability.
    In addition, if your initial positioning of the table's cells
    is a bit
    complex,
    Layout Mode will throw in col- and rowspans aplenty as it
    merges and splits
    cells willy-nillly to achieve the pixel-perfect layout you
    have specified.
    Again,
    this is an extremely poor method for building stable tables,
    because it
    allows
    changes in one tiny cell's shape (i.e, dimensions) to ripple
    through the
    rest
    of the table, usually with unexpected and sometimes
    disastrous consequences.
    This is one of the primary reasons for the final result's
    fragility - read
    this -
    http://apptools.com/rants/spans.php
    3. The UI for Layout Mode is beyond confusing - many options
    that you might
    want to use are inaccessible, e.g., inserting another table,
    or layer onto
    the page.
    I can understand the new user's desire to use this tool to
    make their life
    easier,
    but the cost is just too heavy in my opinion.
    To make good tables, keep it simple. Put a table on the page,
    and begin to
    load your content. If you would want a different table
    layout, instead of
    merging or splitting cells, consider stacking tables or
    nesting simple
    tables instead, respectively.
    And above all, do not try to build the whole page with a
    single table!
    Luckily, Adobe understands the problems created for the
    unsuspecting user
    who falls into this trap, and has elected to remove this
    feature altogether
    from the next version of DW. The time is right for you to
    begin working
    with tables properly!
    To read more about this approach, visit the DW FAQ link in my
    sig, and run
    through the table tutorials.

  • CS6 Inserting table breaks editable region

    In DW CS6 I am building out a site based on one template with three editable regions. I generally work in split view building PHP-MySQL sites such as the current one, and I have been building template-driven sites in Dreamweaver since 1998; but this problem has me stumped. Everything works fine until I insert a table into one of the editable regions. That region immediately becomes non-editable in design view (but I can edit in code view). It doesn't matter how I insert the table -- whether I paste code from another page where the table is being delivered, whether I use the DW Insert Table function, or hand-code from scratch. The result is the same -- I can no longer place a cursor in that editable region, in any design window.
    I seem to remember from CS5 a similar situation with a workaround that included triple clicking somewhere, but I have not been able to find that in this forum or in my notes. Any suggestions?

    The issue exists both at home and at the office. There may be minor differences.  I am now at the office .

    insert into mv VALUES('M6', 10)
    insert into mv VALUES('M7', 10)
    insert into mv VALUES('M8', 20)

    insert into sa VALUES('S2', 'M2')

    insert into sa VALUES('S2', 'M5')
    insert into sa VALUES('S3', 'M1')
    insert into sa VALUES('S3', 'M6')
    Now for the actual problems.
    Firstly I need to try and overcome the mutating table problem by ensure that stuid = S1 in table sa can not take both moduleId M5 and M6.
    Just one or the other. I have created a single trigger, but if fails because of the mutating table problem.
    The second problem I need to overcome is that none of the stuids can have moduleIds where total credit value of more than 120 credits. Credit value is stored in the mv table.
    Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

    Use a statement level trigger:

  • Single record insert performance problems

    Hi,
    we have on production environment a Java based application that makes aprox 40.000 single record Inserts per hour into a table.
    We ha traced the performance of this Insert and the medium time is 3ms, that is ok. Our Java architecture is based in Websphere Application Server and we access to Oracle 10g through a WAS datasource.
    But we have detected that 3 or 4 times a day, during aprox 30 seconds, the Java service is not able to make any insertion in that table. And suddenly it makes all the "queued inserts" in only 1 second. That "pause" in the insertion cause problems of navigation because is the top layer there is a web application.
    We are sure that is not a problem with the WAS or the Java code. We are sure that is a problem with the Oracle configuration, or some tunning action for this kind of applications that we don´t know. We first thought it could be a problem with a sequence field in the table. Also, a problem when occurs the change of the redo log. But we've checked it with our DBA and this is not the problem.
    Has anybody any idea of what could be the origin of this extrange behaviour?
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Jose.

    There are a couple of things you'd need to look at to diagnose this - As Joe says it's not really a JDBC issue from what we know.
    I've seen issues with Oracle's automatic SGA resizing causing sporadic latency in OLTP systems. Another suspect would be log file sync wait events, which are associated with commits. Don't discount the impact of well meaning people using tools like TOAD to query the DB - they can sometimes cause more harm than good.
    Right now I'd suggest you run AWR at 10 minute intervals and compare reports from when you had your problem with a time when you didn't.

  • Inactive Insert table button

    Hiya! My Insert table button is greyed out & unusable. My
    cursor is in the code view underneath the first <body> tag.
    The Table option is also greyed out in the Insert menu. Does anyone
    have any ideas as to what the problem is? Anybody? (wah)

    Problem solved! Saw a past post. I needed to be in Standard
    view under view menu while cursor was in design screen.

  • INSERTED Table - When it gets populated with single or multiple rows?

    Hi,
    I'm trying to create a trigger which then insert to a table. i'm wondering when does the INSERTED table gets populated with single or multiple rows?
    Should I always assume that the INSERTED Table will contains several rows? What does the scope of the INSERTED table in the trigger, isn't based on the user session?
     The reason why i asked this is because as far as i know inserted table may contain several table when the trigger fires which is why I use cursor to insert  records in the table ( there's a behind why i use cursor).
    But if the inserted table will only contain a single record during the session of the trigger then i can avoid the cursor.
    Thanks.

    But since we control the transaction process and we know for a fact that user will only be able to save a record one at a time, do we still expect multiple rows? I just want to have a clear concept on the INSERTED table.
    ...and then the DBA or someone else sees fit to enter a number of rows directly from a query window. And don't laugh. That is bound to happen sooner or later.
    However, just because this can (and will) happen does not mean that you need to handle it on equal footing with the normal case user entering data through the application. What you cannot permit yourself to is to drop the DBA case on the floor, that is write
    the trigger as if there would either be single-row inserts and produce incorrect results for multi-row inserts.
    But, yes, allowing yourself to use a cursor, if you want to reuse the existing stored procedure is feasible. That is also the more drastic solution suggested by Tom to add an explicit check that disallows multi-row inserts.
    Finally, permit me to comment on this:
    Additionally, it's  difficult to use the code below as i need to pass the identity id of tbl_A to tbl_B
    You can use the OUTPUT clause to capture the values, but that requires that you have something you can map the identity values to in the columns you insert, and this is not always the case. However, there is a lot simpler solution to the problem: don't
    use IDENTITY. IDENTITY is one of these over-used and over-abused features in SQL Server. You need it when you want to support high-concurrency inserts, because rolling your own requires a serialisation point. But with a moderate insertion frequency, IDENTITY
    only gives you headache.

  • How to change settings for insert table

    I use DW CS4. Don't know how this changed but now when i click insert>table the result is insertion of a table with width of 960 and 8 columns and 8 rows?
    Where can i change this back to what it was so that in properties i can set the width, the number of columns, the number of rows, etc.
    thanks for your help,

    Dreamweaver should remember the last table definition you put on the page.
    Insert>table>Specify Rows/Columns/Width
    That should then be the default until you specify something else.
