How to insert text in the text-id using BDC

I m using the BAPI to upload the data for a transaction .
In that transaction there are some text id's are created to insert text like 'Container number'.
I want to insert the text in that text id . But it not a field. Text ids are having object no and table and number .
Is there any function like 'READ_TEXT' which we use to retrieve the text form text ids to write text in text ids ?
So that I can use that function to insert the text in the text ids.

READ_TEXT is used to Read the text , but SAVE_TEXT is used to save the text. but for reading or saving you need correct iD's and text objects.

But he is not saving the text, we dont know why. Constant c_objectname has been defined so:
c_objectname TYPE vbeln_vf VALUE 'XXXXXXXXXX'.
But without success... We saw XXXXXXXXXX000010 as tdname in debugger... Do you know if the issue is the TDNAME field? What should be a correct value for LW_THEAD-TDNAME? We know the item position but not the billing document number yet, where can we get correct tdname?... or did he fail in some other point?

Hi guys,
one of my workmates got the answer. I share that: there is a user exit call '001' in the include LV60AB07 (FORM XVBRK_KIDNO_FILL). The FM for that user exit is EXIT_SAPLV60A_001 (Billing User Exit. Processing KIDNO (Payment Reference Number)). My friend put code logic inside the include of that FM (ZXVVFU09). We used that because there the structure XVBRK already has value for the field VBELN (the number of the billing document) and we can use SAVE_TEXT and COMMIT_TEXT there without problem, concatenating billing number and item in the header. I am not sure if the billing document already was created at this point, but worked fine for us. Thanks anyway!

I want to use Indesign CS5.5 SDK in my c++ project first to create Indesign Document then insert text in textframe.
How include SDK in my project ?
Is it right method to create indesign Application using SDK.

Dispaly standard text in SAP SCRIPT which content saved using SAVE_TEXT FM

I want to display one standard text content in SAP SCRIPT and want to store content of it during run time.
For that, first I have created one standard text using SO10.Named the standard text as Z_TEST_WRITE. Initially it was empty.
In my SAP SCRIPT, I try to display the content of the standard text using below given SAP SCRIPT code and report program. Although I am able to store text in Standard text
Z_TEST_WRITE but in first display of the SCRIPT it is not displaying against the include command of SAP SCRIPT. But when I see the content of Z_TEST_WRITE through SO10 transaction, I can see the content with new text which was previously empty.
Now if I do the same transaction newly (suppose second time), then text stored in standard text Z_TEST_WRITE is displaid against includes command of SAP SCRIPT.
My print program is a SAP STANDARD which one can be changed.

If the text is getting displayed the second time, then this should be due to delay in saving the text.
After your COMMIT WORK AND WAIT in your report program, just put a WAIT FOR 2 SECS and check again.

Want to Insert Text at Beginning of a Paragraph Using GREP

I'd like to find the beginning of a paragraph and insert a text (that uses a specific character style) into that paragraph. Below is how I've set up the find/change:
It almost works. The phrase "SECOND ITEM IS FREE!" is inserted at the beginning of the paragraph, which is what I want. But the first letter of the word that was originally at the beginning of the paragraph picks up the character style used on the inserted text. How do I insert the text without changing the character style of the existing text?

If you mean superimposing text on your photo, you can't do that in Lightroom. There is no "insert text" feature (other than watermark or slides). There is a plug-in called Mogrify that allows you to superimpose text on your photos during export.

Can't use all annotate actions in Preview-it's a PDF of a web screen shot. No highlight, underline, etc; can insert text, boxes, notes.

I don't think PDF is the way to do it, but if it was you'd need something like Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Script to find a specific section in file & insert text below - how?

I am dealing with kind of a problem here - I am using pekwm as my window manager and I use menumaker to automatically update the menu on every startup. My problem is that the original pekwm, the first two sections called 'terminal' and 'Run' and the last two sections called 'Go To' and 'pekwm' are overwritten/modified by mmaker so that there's only the applications submenues and 'pekwm' with the 'Themes' section erased and I want to somehow preserve all that. I was thinking of creating a bash script that does the mmaker thing and then use 'sed' or 'echo' to insert the code back into the appropiate areas of ~/.pekwm/menu.
All I really need to know is how to find a particular string of code in the menu file and insert a block of text below that line using sed or echo.
Any ideas?

Looks interesting. But I'd like to keep it as simple as possible and avoid the part with the extra textfiles and just insert the code text straight into the menu file, kind of like this:

But text is copied default to other orders also in VA01 ..
I tried using CALL FUNCTION 'FREE_TEXT_MEMORY' but it did not worked .

if u use the user exit no need to use save_text . just modify that field which u get input text...
