Hi,
Please let me know how to insert a hyperlink in oralce 10g report layout.
Since the feature of button control is not available in oracle 10g reports
I need to have a hyperlink which runs a stored procedure.

Insert hyperlinks in pdf-documents

Since Mavericks you can´t insert hyperlinks in pdf-documents. I miss this option in the preview. Are there any other possibilities?
(I have MS Office for apple, therefore the links get lost, if I convert it to pdf).

Trying to insert hyperlinks

In FrameMaker 10, I need to insert hyperlinks that will translate to links within PDF output and also to links within RoboHelp. Is that possible? If so, how do you insert those? Typically it's either a link from one chapter file to another or from one place to another within the same file. Thanks!

Hi Suzy. In your PDF, you need to view the Destinations (Right-Click on the Bookmarks icon and select Destinations). Find the destination you want to link to (this may take some time if it's a big book/document) and make a note of the F number.
In RoboHelp, create a Baggage File folder and copy your pdf in it, making note of the Baggage Folder name and pdf name
In FrameMaker, enter the Go to URL hypertext maker like this - message URL ../../<RH Baggage Folder Name>/<DocumentName>.pdf#F8" target="_blank"
This should open your PDF at the appropriate place in another browser window.

Why don't you use WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT inside your "when-button-
pressed" trigger?

I can't insert hyperlink to email me button,can you help me.

When I try to insert hyperlink to email me button it won't bold up so i can click on it. How do i add the email address I want the button to link to?

The email button is predefined.
If you still want to use it for another email address, publish the page and grab the image.

Inserting hyperlink - Cannot find the 'Source'

I am having trouble locating the 'source' when inserting a hyperlink to a page. I am doing as I have been taught but its just not working, I have tried inserting link in a number of ways such as Insert Hyperlink.... Also using the propertie manager to do it that way but cannot find the source anywhere. I have a deadline for tomorrow and managed to link homepage to second page whilst in a tutorial. I am not using a live web domain it is just for mock purposes.
Please help.

Thanks for some reason it seems to be working now for reasons unknown... But.. My text navigation bar links have been inserted as new layers rather than div tags so now the link text is showing on top of the 'Client Page' text and looking a mess I will add the codes now to see if someone can help ????
Basically I need to hide the link that is sitting ontop of the image layer which is the nav bar... If that makes sense. I am new to dw so sorry for the long winded way explaining.

I can't locate an "advanced" tab in my Keynote to insert hyperlinks - any ideas onwhat might be wrong?

The instructions said to click on the "wrench" looking tab, and click on "advanced" tools to insert hyperlinks into my presentations - there is no "advanced" tab showing up - any ideas of what might be wrong, or how to get to it?

The "Wrench" is in the upper right hand side of Keynote for iOS. Advanced is one of the options after you click on the wrench, Interactive Hypelinks is selected from within the Advanced option. You then select an object and assign a link to it.

How to insert hyperlinks in RTF document shown in JEditorPane?

This is a compound question so bear with me on this one :)
What I need is to insert an hyperlink in a JEditorPane; Store it as RTF code; Retrieve it; Show it and click on it to go the the destination.
1) So, first question, is there some method to automatically add the hyperlink and will it be saved in RTF with RTFEditorKit? (I'm actually using AdvancedRTFEditorKit but an answer to either will be enough)
2) I tried a method that adds what appears as a link but the document that is stored doesn't have the necessary RTF codes, only the formatting that makes it look like a link. I also checked the actual RTF codes I'd need to add and they seem easy to do. So, is there a way to add the actual underlying RTF codes to the document while it's in the JEditorPane?
I know the question(s) isn't too specific, if you can shed some light over the whole thing and point me in the right direction, it'd be great!

Just a follow up to my own question. I found a way to answer my question 2) and I'm now storing the rtf code for hyperlinks. Now, when I show the document in JEditorPane with RTFEditorKit, I get the name of the hyperlink with no formatting indicating that it's a hyperlink.
Example. The link "http://www.google.com" with the name "Google", only shows "Google" in plain text.
Is it because the components I'm using don't support hyperlinks from RTF files even though they're supported from HTML files?
Is there any way you can see this working? Is it possible to include something inside the JEditorPane that the user can click, instead of the hyperlink?

How do I get a 'insert - hyperlink - file' to display in a new web page?

When I insert the link to a downloadable file, that's fine.
But I'm losing my eyeballs because iWeb uses the same webpage to open my downloadable file.
The option to check, 'open in new web page' is not appearing.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. You need to first upload the file to your server and use the URL to the file at that location as the link to external page option of the Inspector/Link/Hyperlink pane. If the browser supports displaying the file type it will open in a new window.

Inserting Hyperlinks in Existing Menu Shell

So, I've been trying to sort it out for over a week. I bought this theme for wordpress which has a flash on the main page, and I have no clue how to insert links on the pre existing menu shells on the left hand side. I have tried looking at tutorials but I just can't seem to get it right. I have attached a picture so you know what I'm talking about, and the file itself if someone can find time to look at it and let me know how to put hyperlinks in. It will be great if someone could help me. Thanks.

you need to
1. assign instance names to those items on the left (click to select one and in the properites panel assign a name - eg, english_btn for the first item)
2. in the actions panel, add the needed actionscript for each item:

Inserting Hyperlinks in Pages Documents

I am writing a document in Pages with the intent of posting it at blogsite where I have editing privileges. I cannot, however, figure out how to highlight a portion of the text and link that text to a URL address. Can this be done with Pages?

Here is what is occurring when I attempt to insert a hyperlink in a Pages document:
1. When I click on the Inspector button and check the hyperlink box the following URL address appears (as though it were a default) http://livepage.apple.com/
2. This URL address will also appear in the Pages document that I am working on. I then have to return to the document and remove this URL address before continuing.
3. If I delete this particular URL address from the Link Box and paste in the URL address I want, the highlighted text in the document appears with a rectangular shaped box around the words I want hyperlinked but there is no link established.
4. These events are all quite puzzling because I had assumed that inserting a hyperlink was a fairly easy process. I looked in the Pages' Help section to verify my understanding before I even made my initial attempt to insert a hyperlink. After continually failing to do so, I posted a message that Dennis was kind enough to respond to but I am still pretty much stuck.

Insert | Hyperlink doesn't seem to allow linking to subtopics in RoboHelp 10.

I updated to RoboHelp 10 yesterday and today when I try to insert a hyperlink it creates it to the top level, despite the fact that I'm using Find to locate the topic and click on a specific bookmark within the topic. It used to work. Please tell me I don't have to *gasp* remember my bookmark names.

In the image you show (and the second of the two I show), you'll notice the bincoluars icon (aka: find) to the far right of Link to: input field. If you click that, it will bring up the dialog shown in the first image of post. I did briefly show my process, but to be clearer and reduce ambiguity, it looks like this:
Open topic.
Select hyperlink text in topic.
Click Find
Type name of topic (or more usually, paste it)
Select bookmark link from the list.
Click OK
Notice the bookmark link doesn't have my direct link.
Curse* and fume.
It should be noted that I can select a bookmark from the topics list in the box below, but I have a good many files and bookmarks and I was trying to cut down on the scrolling required.

Insert hyperlink in Pages goes back to Apple

I have been cutting and paste an URL in the hyperlink tool. I see that www.apple.com is at end of UR:L adress and remove it. However the link always shows up as Apple.com. I do not have this problem with other word processing apps. I want to use Pages but typing in every URL is not practical.
Please help in that I have completed the document and all that is left is hyperlinks to reference pages.

I have just done this the way you described and it works as expected.
Have you typed the correct full URL?
Check for typos in the Links inspector. Copy and paste the address, or drag the URL into the field to make sure you got it right.

Unable to insert hyperlinks in Exchange 2007 OWA messages

Hi, we have recently moved to Exchange 2007 OWA and users are unable to insert links to shared files on the network. I was wondering if there might be something in our Windows 7 GPO that is preventing this from happening?

do you mean they cannot see the network path or that they are not able to type
\\networkshare\share ?
If first one,please check Outlook Web app policy and enable/customize Direct file Access.
