Consider adding the delete symbol to the Finder window tool bar. This way you can highlight all the photos you want to delete at the same time then hit the "delete" symbol.
Open a Finder window/View/Customize Toolbar - follow the directions in the customized pop down window.

How to display descriptive flexfield values without clicking on the field

Hi,
We are using ATTRIBUTE1 in PO Headers to provide a field for entering an emergency PO number. When users query a PO in the Puchase Order Headers form with a value in this field, they want the value to display on the form without having to click on the [] field to open up the DFF. Is this possible? This is the only DFF we're using on this form.
The user is telling me the 11i instance used to but it is no longer there in R12.
Can anyone help?

Without inserting images, only with Pages and tools and symbols that are not images! Take a look at this document from Pages made with the iPad Air.

Photoshop-When opening image without tab view, image opens with only a portion in view

I having an issue with CC.
When electing in the preferences to not open image in Tabs. The images open with only about 25% of the image area showing. Forcing me to (command) 0 for full to screen preview or (command) +/- to see the image.
I am not talking about seeing the image at 100% resolution just the entire image within the floating window without having to command before view.
Sidenote: Adobe Customer Service is all based in India. I spent 4 hours on the phone only to hear that this is that way photoshop works.
There would be no logical explanation for this. Since the first version of Photoshop this has not been the case.
I think this should be called view porn with wife in the room mode. Other than that I see no point.
Can anyone help?

Automatically Replacing Images Without Losing Previous Image's Action

I've created updated versions of some images in a Keynote presentation, but the images they replace have actions assigned to them. Is it possible to update a pre-existing image so the updated version retains any actions?

You have two options for this. The best option is to define the image as a media placeholder. Go to Format>Advanced>Define as Media Placeholder. Then you can change images and keep all actions.
The other option is if you have saved your Keynote as a package, you can right click the icon and choose show package contents. Then make sure the new images are the exact same name as the ones you wish to change and drag them into the folder. You be asked if you want to replace the file already named --- and click yes. Keynote will then change the old picture with the new one. I would only use this option if you are changing a lot of images at once and it is too time consuming to use the other method.

How to expand an Image without making new image

Well, I got a VolatileImage(or it can be normal image), I wanna cut a portion of it, then attach something new to the portion, how do I do so?
See the following:

I want to cut the "2s" part, so I get

Then attach "3s" to the bottom:

The way I can think of is: make a new VolatileImage with the right size (portion size+ new attachment size), cut the portion from the old image, paste the cut into the new image at the right position, then render the new attachments into the new image, but this way requires a lot of memory copying, is there a directly way just chop off unwanted stuff and put in new stuff?

What kind of application are you trying to do this for? If you're scrolling a map, a better way to do it is to split your original (big) map image file into small square tiles and just draw the one that are on the screen at a given time. This way, instead of copying a large image whenever you scroll, you just change some x and y variables and draw the images at a new offset.

Rotating image without duplicating background?

is it possible in CS5 to rotate an image (without scaling the image dimension ) without duplicating the background layer to rotate this layer?

I am assuming that when you open your photo in CS5 that the layer is automatically locked?
If yes, then you can right click that layer and there is an option at the top called "Layer From Background...".
This unlocks that layer without having to duplicate it.
To rotate an image without changing dimensions of the actual photo? When you rotate an image the width and the height dimensions are switch depending on how you rotate.
Under Edit>>Transform, you will get 4 different options to rotate.
The rotate at the top is to manually rotate the image. The other rotates are presets which might be what your after.

That is not a feature that is supported natively within Firefox but there are various add-ons which I think will do the job you need.
The one I have used is [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/web-slide-show/?src=search Web Slide Show]. This is primarily an add-on for viewing a slideshow of images when they are presented as thumbnails on a web page. However once you are in the slideshow there is a download button which will download all the images in the slideshow. It will automatically rename the images if an image with the same name already exists in the folder.
If you don't like that add-on then here are some others that may do the same job:

Double clicking an image in Browser view

I see that the behavior for double clicking an image in Browser view has changed between Aperture 2 & 3. In version 2, double clicking an image would jump from Browser view to zoom in on that image in full screen mode. Now in version 3, double clicking just switches to that image in Viewer mode in the main window, without entering into full screen mode.
While I guess this change makes some sense given the changes to full screen mode in v.3, my old fingers have gotten used to doing things the old way. To recreate what I used to do in v.2 I need to double click, then hit 'F' to do to full screen mode and then do the reverse to get back where I started.
Is there anyway I can change this behavior to the old v.2 way? I see lots of ways to customize hotkeys and commands, but nothing to change behaviors for a double click.

I can't find anything, but I'm still finding my way around!
I don't think you need to double click and press F..... just pressing F should change views.
Another way is to drag the "Full Screen" icon into the toolbar, and you can just click that.

then use "Insert into TABLE (consecutive, BLOB_OBJECT, MIME_OBJECT) values (sequence.nextval,

4. Load the file into table using:

How do I assign a link to an image without converting it to a symbol?

I've seen alot of instructions online on how to assign a hyperlink to an image. Alot of them say to convert the image to a symbol first and then add the appropriate Actionscript code (getUrl). I'm just wondering if there is a way to do it without converting it to a symbol (converting it to a symbol seems to add an artifact to one of the borders of the pic). Does anyone know if this can be done? Or must all images be converted to symbols to get links assigned to them?

you can't reference an object with actionscript unless it's converted to an object. so, if you want to click an image and have something occur (like execute a getURL) you'll need to convert the object. btw, there's no reason a converted object would be changed in appearance.
