Inserting live chat code

Question

need help.
we are using a 3rd party live chat company and the code they have provided only seems to work when we insert it into the content area.  We would like the chat button to reside in the template however if we post the code into the site template and/or create a content holder for this code, the button will not show up on the live site.  here is the code:

I have doubt that something wrong. Paste the code at the right place, may be cause due to html or javascript coding error. If the problem not resolved take help from live person technical support team or you may try another best third party chat software like eAssistance Pro, zopim, comm100.
