Inserting pictures into a Podcast???

I am wanting to put pictures in my Podcast that I am creating with GarageBand. I insert them and then I change how long I want them to appear before changing to another picture but when I do that they all disappear. What am I doing wrong. This is my first attempt to create a Podcast.

Is it used for insert picture? It does not seems to be...
And in my program, the SY-SUBRC is 4 after run:

Of course my file path is correct, and the picture path is in my own coumputer rather than SAP server. Is that the problem?

Inserting time into a podcast

I was recording an ichat into GB3, which was very cool. GB would put the buddy icon of whoever was talking into the chapter list.
The problem came once we were finished. I need to split out tracks to add some time to insert some music. This works fine for the iChat tracks, I just split them and moved them to the right. The problem is the podcast track. I couldn't find any way to make more space in the timeline, unless I clicked on each chapter mark and moved them. That wasn't going to work when there were a ton of chapter marks from the conversation going back and forth. And you can't click on the first chapter mark and shift click on the last one to select all of them, nor can you lasso them.
Any idea on inserting some space in the podcast track?
BTW, a little anecdote on starting the podcast. I had the audio chat going in iChat, and for the life of me, I couldn't figure out how to add us as tracks. I told the other person that it's a mac, if I can't figure it out, I'm trying to hard. So then I just hit the record button, and GB asked me if I wanted to record the iChats. Wow, so slick. And switching the buddy icons to who is talking is awesome.

The *real* Ken Burns effect - Inserting pictures into clips (not between)

Here is the scenario I am trying to achieve:
- Video clip of Grandpa talking about his childhood
- Fade into a picture of Grandpa as a kid while audio continues
- Fade back into the video clip of Grandpa talking
I have the video on the Mac (2 hours - 30+ clips in iMovieHD)
I have the photos in iPhoto
I can insert the pictures between clips, but audio stops
I extracted the audio from the clips and can see it as a separate track
Using iMovieHD 6.0.3 - MacOS 10.5.5
Can I do it with this setup?
If not with this, what application would do this? Seems the older version of iMovie could do this.

Yes, you can do it with iM6. You use the Paste Over at Playhead function found in the Advanced menu.
Select/Edit/Copy your still photo. Place the playhead at the point in the video clip where you want to insert the photo. Then go to Advanced/Paste Over at Playhead. The photo will be inserted into the video clip at the playhead and the audio will play through it. If you want fade in and fade out, insert a Fade In transition at the beginning of the photo and a Fade Out at the end. Don't use Cross Dissolve because that shortens your time line and may put the audio out of sync. The Overlap transition I think will work because that one does not shorten the time line.
Before you begin, go to your iMovie General Preferences and check the box "Extract Audio when using Paste Over at Playhead".

I'm new to forums and Dreamweaver cs4 and code... I really could use some help. I want to put pics where the black boxes are but i cant seem to get them stacked as they look. I also want to be able to have words/paragraphs to the left of the four pictures. I tried; insert picts with padding/floating, tables, seperate divs, create web photo album, i just cant get them lined up like that. I'm using dreamweaver cs4 and i have my layout seperated with divs, so the white body part is a indidual loating div. Please help. Thanks.
ps. The "right body" div (white box) is set at like 600w x 400h. I dont want that dimenstion to change.

Inserting Pictures into cells

I want to catalog a set of pictures and add meta-data in adjoing cells and then be able to sort the resulting table based on the meta-data and have the images sort with the meta-data (that is, have all of the cells within a row stay together). Is that possible with Numbers?
If this is possible, what are my sizing options? Ideally, the images would size to the cell size (maintaining their aspect ratio) which can then be sized up on demand.

David, you can paste an image into a cell and it becomes the background of that cell. There are several scaling options:

Are these pictures saved as files on the hard drive?? What type of format, bmp, jpg, png?? Are the file extensions all the same??

Viewing thumbnails while inserting pictures into mail.

Did a search but couldn't find an answer, sorry if this is redundant. I notice that when I want to attach a file (i.e.picture)while composing a letter in Mail, I only get the 'list' or 'column' view option from the dialog box, but no 'thumbnail' option, similar to what you have in Finder. Is there any way of wiewing all of the files as thumbnails instead of having to click on each file & view one at a time to find the picture I want? Thanks

No, there's no plugin for Mail, since it's not something Mail can do anyway. But you can install a Contextual Menu item called QuickImage, that is known to work on 10.4.x and 10.5.x, even though it was released way back during 10.2.x. It will not work on Intel-based Macs, so if you need it, don't upgrade to an Intel machine.
This CM will let you select multiple image files at the same time and add a thumbnail icon for each, which should work very nicely for you.

I have this question too. It is very important for me to insert pictures into tables in order to complete my lab reports. This feature needs to be added; the software is useless without it. It is things like this that make me regret Apple purchases.

Widescreen pictures from Keynote into a podcast

I created a Keynote presentation at 1280x720 resolution, exported it to iPhoto to be put into an enhanced podcast. But when I drop pictures into the podcast track, it zooms into the center of the picture, cutting off the left and right side. Is there any picture controls in Garageband so I can fix that?

Just double-click the image in the timeline to bring up the editor.

Inserting images into Word from Photo

I want to insert photos into a Word Document. In the past, I would choose Insert>photo from Word, and iPhoto images were available. Now with Yosemite 10.10.3, iPhoto has been replaced by Photo. iPhoto images are not available when choosing Insert from Word. Suggestions appreciated.

Neither iPhoto nor Photo appears available for inserting pictures into MS Word nor MS Powerpoint. Is the problem with Photo?

How to correct? Inserted pictures do not show in Mail programs.

I can insert pictures into my Mail on Yahoo and they show. When I send them to another email address on Yahoo, the pictures are not there. However, they are there with IE. What do I need to change in Firefox?

I'm having the same trouble.
I just quit using iMac Mail. This app did allow me to create nice messages showing the photo in the text body along with captions. I could also add links from my ImageShack account and they would be displayed in the message body.
Now, using Verizon's email directly, the program treats the photo as an attachment and puts in in my download folder. I must go into the file and open each one. Many people won't bother because it involves so many extra steps. Isn't there someway to place the image in the body of the message, move it, add captions, etc. If not, I think I'm going back to iMail.
