Hi
Is it possible to insert an object in WEBI, as we do in DESKI. I want to display the word document as a Icon, so that user can open the doucments and enter the comments and save the document.

Inserting Text into a web page

I need to know how to insert text into a webpage, like google, search, and then get the result.
Using the wonders of the internet I have been able to display a webpage, and see the HTML code that is generated, however, I don't know how to insert text into a web page, or get the result.
Any help, or pointing into the right direction would be appreciated.

What do you mean by insert into web page? Like
prefill data on a form?
Or like a search on google? What are you using to
do this?
I am guessing based on the info you gave in your
question, that you might want to just look at the url
of the page. For example search on google and you
will see the text entered into the search field
inside the url. Learn from that and develop a url
that will search for the text you want to insert.
If I am not understanding you, please clarify.Right now, I'm using the URL to search for me, which will work, but the search can be different from website to website, and I would like something closer to an automated form filler if I need to implement something like this again.
Of course, something like an automated form filler would probably work better, if I were able to retreve the results

Help. I recently purchased the program Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium. I was trying to load the program to my computer (Windows 8.1) but couldn't get past this window "Please insert disk Adobe Design Web Premium 6 English Japan to continue." I only received one disk labeled "Professional Media Kit" and the serial number when I ordered the program. How do I get the program to load? Am I missing a disk? We couldn't get anyone at website we ordered the product from to respond. Quick at taking our money but no help afterwards.

I would recommend registering your serial number to verify that it is valid.

I am having issue loading data using Web ADI, I am getting "SQL exception occurred during PL/SQL upload" error, I tried to restart Apache, also looked into the BNE.log file for the exact error but I am still not sure about this exception, can anyone please help?Please rename the log file, reproduce the issue and check the log file then.

Unable to insert rows in the Web ADI document

Hi,
I am facing issue with Web ADI document while inserting the new rows. I have configured the Web ADI to update the SIT information of employees. I am able to download the data, modify the data and upload it successfully. However, when I try to add new rows in the document, it says 'Context values cannot be changed'.
Could anyone help me out as to what needs to be done to add new rows to the sheet ?

There are certain areas of the Web ADI template where information cannot be changed, particularly in the Context area. Trying to change values in this area will result in the error

Inserting HTML into a web page

On a previous thread I asked how to insert ones own code into a page created in iWeb.Some kind person told me how to do it,namely: find the html page in iMac on my hard drive,in TextEdit insert the code that I want and click Save.It all worked fine. However when I go back into my web page in iWeb and make a change followed by upload, the code that I inserted in TextEditor is wiped.Is there any way that I can insert my own code into a web page and not get it wiped when I make other changes in iWeb and upload to the server? Nope, this is how it works. If you make a change to a page like this post-publishing, and later re-publish, you have to make the html changes again! Set up a Find/Replace command in MassReplaceIt and you can do this very quickly. You can save your queries so you can make all of your changes with one click the next time you save.

BEx Web - Inserting Tabs with multiple Web Templates

I encounter much difficulty to find consistent information on how to create a Web cockpit (BW3.5) by making use of embedded Web Templates (using web template web item).
In particular,
- How to define tab pages?
- How to insert an HTML document in one of these tab pages or in the body of a single Web template?
I would be glad if you could give me links to helpful documentation or share your own experience.

Insert Buy Button Into Web App

Hello,
I've followed Mario's instructions here ( http://forums.adobe.com/message/5210303 ) and inserted a buy button into a web app detail view. Unfortunately, the button doesn't seem to do anything: http://screencast.com/t/b46qgbPNYyN
The cart/checkout page doesn't come up. The button doesn't seem to work.

If your backend is a Java application running on a non-SAP application server, you can insert some code into your application so it can accept the SAP logon ticket, retrieve the user id from the ticket, and grant access basing on the user id. Tim Mullé and Stephan Boecker have discussed how to do so here.

Can't insert file in Outlook Web since Office MAC update

Hello,
Although I can access my college's mailbox via Outlook web, I can no longer insert text files when sending a message using this account since updating my Office suite for Mac. I'm working with Lion. The file's name appears when chosen but doesn't upload (not sure this is the adequate term) when «insert file» is selected. The progress loop appears, no error message is received. A draft (translating from french to english here... not sure again of the exact name in english) containing the text file is automatically created.

I was having this problem too, with Apple mail, facebook, anything that required me to attach or upload after upgrading to Mavericks...actually I think there was a mountain lion update I did prior to mavericks, but I did the mavericks upgrade immediately after. I went to my user settings and noticed that my account, which is an admin account, said "admin, managed" and the parental controls were enabled. the only was I was able to change this was to create another admin account, log in to that account and remove the parental controls on MY admin account. log off, go back to original account and delete other admin. it won't show any files if the view is in icon view so switch it to list and it should show everything. I also can't attach anything that is in my downloads folder. not sure if that is a new thing with Mavericks or if it's always been that way. no problems since, knock on wood, but I just figured this out last night. I also repaired permissions before I figured out the admin problem, that allowed me to attach SOME files, but not all. try to admin thing, hopefully it works for you!

Inserting ENCLOSURE onto a Web-site Page

Hi - I'm using the MAC version of CS4 I'm trying to upload an MP3 file to an existing web page and would like to be able to have my users listen without having to leave the page (open a separate quicktime page.) In reading the user manual it looks like an enclosure is the way to go, but when I look at INSERT Enclosure, the options are all greyed out. How do I upload an MP3 file and allow my users to play on that page?

These settings are in the "QuickTime" inspector window. Drop your mp3 music file onto the iWeb page, select "autoplay" and adjust the start/stop time slider.

Hello Pavel,
the web interface builder calls the web interface very similarly to an external browser. So if you HTTP and ICM setitngs are not correct (yet), the web interface can not be displayed in the builder.
