Inspection lot not getting generated during SD delivery

Hi QM experts,
I am working on QM in SD function. I activated inspection type 10 in the material master in QM view as shown below.
I created a QM info record SD through QV51 for the combination of customer and Sales organization and assigned the material and quality inspection as before delivery as shown below.
Now I created a sales order for the material with sales organization and when I making the delivery system is allowing delivery and no inspection lot is generated and delivery is also not stopped. am i missing something..can u please guide..

Hello,
You have activated 10 and 11 both , any specific reason ?
If you activated 10, then system will allowed you delivery check QM customization---> During Shipping. have you assigned inspection type against Delivery type in customization ?

Dear All,
Need your urgent help to solve a issue. I need to perform inspection of material after specified interval of time for which i am using stability study process. Following are the steps which i have followed :
1) Create initial sample (physical sample created)
2) Confirm initial sample
3) Initial test inspection lot( Inspection lot created )
4) Complete initial test
5) Specify storage conditions (Physical sample created with CRTD status)
6) Create testing schedule( Maintenance schedule is created )
7) I have scheduled maintenance plan through IP10 tcode. All the calls are getting generated.
Now i have given manual call in IP10, but inspection lot is not generating.
Please help to solve this issue ASAP.

Yes i have activated inspection type 16 to material master.
Actually issue is solved now, I have missed one step " Store stability Sample".
Now the lots are getting generated.
i am closing this thread now.

Inspection lot not getting generated by Z inspection type

Hi,
I created a inspection type Z1 , copying the inspection type 01. I guess I maintained all the required configurations or conditions.
I maintained the inspection type Z1 in the QM view of a material with status Active, but I am not able to do MIGO, neither the stock type is coming as Quality Inspection automatically in both the Purchse Order creation and MIGO. As a reslut, the inspection lot is not getting generated.
I am also not able to create a manual lot but QA01, Its giving error as "Inspection type Z1 not maintained for material X" .

Inspection lot not getting generated after PurcGR

Hi,
Inspection lot not generated after doing GR for a purchase order. what could be the reasons?
for the first 2 puchase orders, Inspection lot was created. however, for the 3rd Purchase order of 100qty, i did GR for 50 qty only. after then for new purchase orders, the material status has become unrestricted and directly going to stock.
Inspection type 01 is mainted in material master
QM info record has been maintained.

Try the following.
1. Check the inspection set up in the Material Master record for inspection type 01 whether 'post to inspn stock' is selected. If not, select it.
2. Check in Customizing for 'QM in Procurement' in 'Define QM system' activity, 'certified QM system - skip' is marked(Actual QM system). If this indicator is selected no inspection lot is created even if there is an active inspection type. This is valid if you maintain a target QM system in QM view of Material Master (Purchase data).
3. Check in IMG set up :
Quality Inspection -> Inspection lot creation -> Inspection for goods movement - whether inspection lot origin 01 is specified for movement type 101 and also ensure that QM is active for this movement type.
Please revert after trying these options.

09 inspection lot not getting generated

Hi Friends ,
I have one material batch for which next inspection date is 7.6.2014 . I have activated 09 inspection type in material master . Now when I am executing QA07 for the material with checkbox " To insp. stock at lot creation" selected and with initial run in days = 4 . System shows following msg in green :
"No batches found for processing"
But it should create a lot for the above batch because inspection date is 7.6.2014 . Stock also exist

Please go through the following steps & maintain the same
> Batch management should be active against material.
> Next inspection date should be maintained.
> Inspection interval should be maintained according to next inspection date.
> UD must be completed for the previous inspection lot.

Schedule lines are not getting generated during MRP Run

Schedule lines are not getting generated during MRP Run. I have maiantained source list for the material with proper validity date and also maintained scheduling agreement . MRP relevvant Indicator , I have marked - 2 which means -Record relevant to MRP. Sched. lines generated automatically.
Still I am not able to get schedule lines and instead of that *Purchase Requisitions* are getting generated.
Can any one help me and suggest me what to be done in this case .

Welcome to SDN,
In transaction OMDT you have to enable the indicator create schedule lines
In MD02 MRP control Prameter here select the Delivery schedules -3- Schedule line. Processing Key as NETCH and Planning Mode - 3 delted and recreated.
Maintain source list ME01, in that put MRP indicator as '2' i.e. schedule lines via MRP.Put your agreement no in that.
If u run MRP properly u will get schedule lines automatically in ME38.
Make the schedule agreement, make it source relevent in the source list make is FIX and MRP indicator as 3.

Integration with EWM-Inspection lot not getting created

Hi,
Inspection lot not getting created after GR is done.
The scenario is Storage location is connected to external warehouse management,so after the GR is done in the legacy system via interface it is updated in ECC.so while checking the material document inpection lot is not created.
Can anyone please tell me the necesaary check points and integeration steps between WM and QM in this case .

Since you didn't say much, I assume you are creating stock into ECC via LSMW using 561 movement. Now to get inspection lot for these batches/ docs, you need to activate inspection type 05.
Go to material master QM view, assign and activate inspection type 05.
Additionally, create a respective inspection plan/ task list for the material(s) to carry out RR and get the consistent inspection lots.

Reports file did not get generated during upgrade from 12.1.1 to 12.1.3

Following is my setup:
Two node Rac database on Linux 5(64-bit)
All apps services are on single node - Linux 5(32-bit)
Database version -- 10.2.0.5
Apps version -- 12.1.1
To upgrade apps from 12.1.1 to 12.1.3 i applied following patches.
a.Merged patch 9239090, 9239095 and applled the merge driver, during the patch application i got the following error:
Copying files to destination ...
Done copying files to destination.
The following Oracle Reports objects did not generate successfully:
ja reports/US JAINMCEN.rdf
An error occurred while generating Oracle Reports files.
Continue as if it were successful [No] :

Inspection lot not getting cancelled after the inbound delivery is created

Hello,
The scenraio is like this.
1. Material was procured in plant A.
2. Using the stock transfer purchase order, transferred the material from Plant A to Plant B.
3. Outbound delivery was created, Handling units were assigned and Post Goods issue was done.
4. As soon as this was done, inbound delivery got created automatically in plant B and Handling units were assigned.
5. Inspection lot was created with origin "08".
6. Now I want to reverse all the transactions, so I did as mentioned below.
7. Handling units were deassigned from the inbound delivery and inbound delivery was successfully deleted.
8. Now tried to do the reverse post goods issue and got the error "Handling unit XXXXXX cannot be reversed"..Goods movement cannot be reversed for handling unit XXXXX because it has been changed or assigned to object since the last goods movement posting".
The issue is that as soon as the inbound delivery is deleted, the inspection lot status should change, which has not changed. So kindly let me know how to make the system cancel the inspection lot as soon as the deassignment of handling units is done in inbound delivery or the inbound delievry is deleted.

Inspection lot not getting create for 01 Insp type after Intransit

Hi Qm Gurus,
I have a Material 'A' which is producing in the plant IN05 and transferring to IN06 plant. We have Scheduling agreement PO for this. After Scheduling Agreement we are doing Transferring the Goods thro 351 GI Movement type. So now the parts will be there in transit.
So now when I receive this goods in IN06 thro 101 MT, Insp lot is not getting create, it goes to Unrestricted. If I create a std PO for the same when I receive the goods thro 101, it is posting into Insp lot. But after 351 & if I do 101 material is not going into Inspection. Pls advise.
I checked the Insp type 01 Active for IN06, Quality info record is fine, Quality plan also fine. Pls let me know whether i am missing something?

Please activate inspection type 08 stock transfer ..
If this inspection type is active then during stock transfer lot gets generated.
Also check QM active for this perticular movement in custamizing setting.

Inspection lot not getting created

SUB: Quality inspection lot neot creating.
when i am do GIR, system is not creating Inspection lot for the material,
i have maintained the QM view in material master and assigned the inspection type aslo, then why system is not creating an Inspection lot for quality inspection, is there any extra settings need to be maintaied in QM.

There is a small check mark which says "active " for each inspection type you maintained in QM view .Make sure you have checked this .If you have not ,then there is no way a lot will be created .
Please let me know on any furthur doubts coz as far as i know this is a common mistake every person new to QM does .If this not the issue then get back to me .

Cost of sales not getting generated during final settlement of refurbishment order

We use refurbishment Order and we have settlement receiver as PSG. We use RA Key. We use raw material components CE 1, , We confirm debit labor,
we also receive Revenue cost element category 11 .
We have RA key assigned in the Order.
Now We ran and save values of RA and run KO88 and Dr. WIP Cr. Cons offset is credited. this is when the status is REL and when the status is TECO, then we calculate RA and run KO88 RA is reversed. Now COGS is not getting populated at all and there is no CO PA document also. Kindly let me know the configuration needed for this purpose. I need this very urgently.
This is a simple scenario and this no connection with SD as of now.

We have 3 types of refurbishment order type
1. External Consulting services
Here the cost of labor, consulting charges are booked against this service order
Since the job is done more than 2 months then at the end of 1st month WIP is calculated
2nd month job is done -TECO, so the reverse WIP and cost of Sales comes into play.
Here they book revenue against the service order. Since MTO is not used here, based on status of the order TECO, they create billing request and billing where service order is the cost object
So Service Orders hold costs 2nd month end rev and cost.
My problem is the RA what I use does not create Cost of Sales automatically I know there is some configuration is wrong.
2nd issue: CO PA does not get created when I do TECO and consequently I am unable to move sales and cost of sales to copa.
2. third party repair
Here there is no link between sales order and refurbishment order.
So no revenue is booked for this refurbishment order
Next they issue material and move to WIP and 2nd month they move the cost to COS ,reverse WIP>
I use a RA key which does move COS creation of entry.
This is my problem
How to move to COS without revenue and I will create manually 2nd month by using a report to take TECO status and then create revenue entries through SD.
I need response very soon, if you can give me.

Proforma invoice is not getting generated

Proforma invoice not getting generated against replenishment delivery though configured relevance for proforma invoice & Pricing standard in the item category.
Copy control are maintained absolutely for Delivery document to Billing document.
The system generating message the item is not relevant for billing.
Can any one attend this on priority.

Check the item category configuration via VOV7 for the item category being used in the delivery. The billing relevance should be set to A.

Inspection Lot not creating for 657 mvt type

Hello,
I am unable to create inspection lot for customer returns. Mvt type used by SD module for customer return is 657 ( to blocked stock). While sales to return order with this mvt type, no inspection lot is getting generated.
But when returns are done with 651 mvt type (Returns to QI), I am able to create inspection lots.
Can anyone tell me how to activate inspection for 657 mvt type as I want this stock to go directly to Blocked stock.

Quality inspection stock (movement type is 655)
Blocked stock (movement type 657)
If the given quantity is posted to blocked stock returns first, you can make a manual goods movement posting in the Inventory Management component to transfer the quantity to valuated stock.
Tcode vov6 - there will be schedule line category DN.
go to details of DN.In Business data,check which movement type is assigned here change it to 655 and try.
Also go to material master, select "Quality Management" view and execute. There click on "Insp.setup" and press "F5". Assign "06" under tbe tab "Inse.Type" and save.
Now if that material returns from any customer, the stock will be blocked for quallity clearance. Only quality people can give clearance for that material.
