Inspection lot system status shows CRTD PASG

While running Calibration scenario in PM , Order generated with inspection lot.
But when we go for Change data for inspection lot system status shows CRTD PASG, its not in released state.

Pl check ur task list has been assigned to maintenace plan
Once u assign U will be need to manualy release the Inspection lot by using QA02.
You can go to QA02 and in the inspection specification Tab click on Task list push button , You may have to change the key date adjacent to the push button in same tab to say today's date. Since the specs are not got assigned to it.
Now go to sample tab and click on calculator.
Save your transaction Lot will be in REL state.

Hello. This forum has been very helpful in the past. Am a novice.
We have a material that wasn't completely set up when the inspection lot was created. An operation 20 needs to be added. Operation 10 exists, but no results recording have taken place yet. Current status is REL CALC SPRQ ORRQ. Since the inspection is released, we can't change the key date. How can we get it back to a state where we can update the key date?

Yes, I do mean that only. You need to reset the inspection lot using T code QAC3.
Go to QAC3>Enter inspection lot number> Hit Enter> Save> Terminate the transaction.
Then, refresh the inspection lot in QA32, you would see it with system status CRTD*.
Next, go to QA02> Inspection lot num> Insp. Specifications> Change the key date to today> Click on Task list/spec (It will display the message that inspection plan *** has been assigned to inspection lot.
Then, click on Sample> Smpl. > Save.
You'll get the inspection lot with REL* status with latest Inspection plan assigned.

Inspection Lot System Status

In transaction QA32(Inspection Lot Selection) for an Inspection Lot there is a System Status (not Result Record Status) . What is the database Table-Field where this System Status is stored? OR
How can I retreive that System Status in my ABAP program?

take the OBJNR field from QALS or some other QA* table and pass to JEST
take the STAT2 status field

Want to do mass processing for inspection lots with status SPRQ

Hello,
My company using early lot creation for 04 inspection type. We have thousands of inspection lots with status "UD ICCO SPRQ PRII PRSI STUP". Now due to SPRQ status, system is not closing process orders associated with thousands of inspection lots.
Is there any transaction where I can do mass processing of inspection lots to change the status "SPCO" from "SPRQ"?

04 inspection lot with status SPST

Dear Experts,
We are using Handling Unit (HU) functionality in FG material,
1. We create HU's (say 50 HU's) using tcode COWBPACK,
2. On creation of HU, an inspection lot of type 04 is created for 50 HU's.
3. In regular scenario, we do GR of all 50 HU's using tcode COWBPACK,
4. All 50 HU's are posted in to unrestricted & UD is given using tcode QA32 & status UD SPCO.... is updated in inspection lot,
5. The HU posting in unrestricted can be happen before GR also (which observes no problem),
But in rare scenario, we need to cancel / delete the some of HU's at that time following steps are involved -
1. We create HU's (say 50 HU's) using tcode COWBPACK,
2. On creation of HU, an inspection lot of type 04 is created for 50 HU's.
3. HU posting in unrestricted is done for 45 HU's (System status SPST is updated in inspection lot),
4. Balance 5 HU's are deleted from system using tcode HUMO,
5. UD is given to inspection lot & status UD SPST.... is updated in inspection lot.
Now the problem is, after settlement & variance calculation of production order when we try to update status CLSD (Close) in production order the system give an error "Inspection lot 040000XXXXXX for order XXXXXXXX has not yet been completed" this is due to system status SPST is there instead of SPCO.
As the 5 HU's are deleted hence the stock posting can not be completed. Even we can not cancel the inspection lot due to status SPST.
Please suggest how to resolve this issue to update the status CLSD in prodction order.

Inspection Lot with status CHCR

Hi,
I am facing following problem in QM -
I have maintained inspection type 03 & 04 in Inspection Set up for a raw material master. When I create PO & receive material against the PO, the inspection lot is created & material is posted to inspection. The lot has following status:-- CHCR Characteristics must be created. Here the system does not allow me to post the usage decision for the lot & I am unable to post the stock to unrestricted use.
Pl. suggest if anyone knows the answer

Hi,
Did you go for Change inspection result before changing usage decision,
if not go by the fallowing process.
Menu bar-> Goto->change inspection lot
Put the Inspected qty, results, Origi insp data, insp desc,
click on lock tab and Accept the results.
Then go for change usage decision and accept.
Quality inspection results will be updated in the system and stock will be moved to respected stock type

Cancellation of Inspection Lot with Status LOLK

Lot with Origin 08 has the status "ICCO SPCO BRRQ LOLK". Stock has been scrapped through movement type 713 from the quality inspection area but the lot is still is displaying in QA32.
When we are trying to remove the status LOLK through QA12 system is not allowing to enter into screen and giving message "This function cannot be carried out."
How to cancel or remove this lot?

Hi,
status LOLK means Lot locked for batch record
So go to QA32 and select the relevant inspection lot and go to the Usage decision tab.
Click the menu bar " Usage Decision" and go to
Functions-block for batch record---deselect
Then save the lot and come again to functions--- cancel the lot.
By doing this you can cancel your lot
How to cancel or remove this lot?

System Status - PREL & CRTD

Dear All,
I have 3 networks under a WBS element. I release one network & i notice that the status on the WBS has CRTD & PREL active at the same time.
I checked if i could find some notes to explain this, but unable to do so. Can anyone let me know how to ensure the CRTD status is not active when PREL is active ?

But if this is the std. behaviour then it would lead to issues.
- I have a Production Order tied to this WBS element, but i am unable to confirm the order or post GR as the status CRTD does not allow these business processes.
So to process this order i am forced to release the WBS element which is not what i need.
Any views on how to resolve this issue ?

How to change the Status CRTD of the Inspection Lot?

Dear all.
I want to Complete an Inspection Lot 10000000005 In the T-CODE qvm2.When I select the Inspection Lot 10000000005 and press F8 to Complete the Inspection,the SAP show an error message "Status check error".
And the detail info show that the error was cause by the Status CRTD of the Inspection Lot.I check the Status of the Inspection Lot 10000000005 and found that it's Status was CRTD CHCR SPRQ.My question was how to change the Status CRTD of the Inspection Lot?

CRTD means ...
In material master QM vew-inspection setup->Inspect with task list tick is there.
Now to change status,
Go to Qp01>create a task list for material(If not exists)>remember date of creation of task list must be prior to date to creation of inspec lot
If task list is created/exists>go to QA02.<inspection specification -->click on Inspec Spec
and attach task list
go to sample tab....click on sample.
Now save it.
Status will change to REL

For the Inspection lot status is CRTD instead of REL status

Today I have observed strange behavoir of the system.
For the Finished material 04 insp type, Every day we used to generate inspection lots automatically with MB31for 101 mov type.
generated inspection lot status will be REL bydefault. Today we observed system status is CRTD.
I have checked any material master/Inspection plan been change or not, but it was not changed.
Please suggest how this behavior happen suddenly.

Dear Don,
Check in SPRO for inspection type configuration. Some body has changed the 'Task list usage' for Inspection type.
If you are using '1' and if there is other one except '1' then system will create inspection lot in CRTD status.
You need to change it manually in QA02 and assigne plan.

Inspection Lot For Calibration Order

Dear All,
I want to create a Calibation Order for equipment. I have craeted a general task list, assign master inspection charaterstic in the operation using the control key QM01.
Now I am assigning this task list directly to the order and releasing the order. A inspection lot is being created, but I am not able to make entry for the results for that inspection lot.
Status is showing CRTD PASG.
Pl tell the possible reasons for that

Please follow the step if you have not done this.
T-code QP02> Select the operation the Press Inspection characteristics (push button)>In the field master inspection characteristics field enter MIC which you have already created>Save
If this is already done then
QA02>Press tab Inspection Specification>Now press Task List Specification (Push Button).
With T-code QE17 you do recording after that u can do UD

Hello all,
Please tell me the step byb step process of QA02 transaction how to release the inspection lot .
Suggest,

QA01 - Create, QA02 - Change , QA03 - Display are used to create inspection lots manually.
Pre requesites
1) Activate inspection type in material master.
2) Activate inspection with task list, specification etc. as per requirement.
3) Create inspection plan for that material with usage as per inspection type.
Go to QA01 enter material plant and inspection type F8
You can create inspection lots manually for all inspection lot origins except the following:
10 (Delivery to customer with sales order)
11 (Delivery to customer without sales order)
12 (General delivery)
13 (Repetitive manufacturing)
14 (Plant maintenance)
Enter quantity and vendor, assign inspection plan and calculate sample size. Save. Inspection lot will be created.If inspection plan is assigned to insp. lot then it will be automatically REL.
If insp. plan is not assigned or sample size is not calculated inspection lot will be in CRTD status.
Go to qa02 inspection specification CLICK on task list assignment system will show u list of inspection plan available for this material or give msg that no inspection plan is present. go to qp01 create inspection plan. and then assign save
inspection lot will be in rel status now.

Error CRTD PASG during usage decission

I have created a sample in qpr1 for 1 liter of Fuil and have changed the status of the sample to REL and saved.
Now against that sample i have created an inspection lot, when i am trying to make the UD system is not alowing me to
make the UD as the status is CRTD PASG in inspection lot , how do i change the status to REL CALC so that i can make the UD, am i missing any settings.
Suggestions will be appretiated.

May be u have created the INspection plan afterthe inspection lot creation .. now u
u go to QA32 and press inspection lot of tht material then Inspectioon specfication screen press the tasklist/spec after that u move on to the next sample and press SMPL radio button .. then lot may come into the created state ...
if the above do not work
thenm match the Range that u have mentioned in in the sampling scheme with the lot size of the inspecttion lot .. their may be chance of mismatching of them

I have created a quality plant and assigned the MICs. When I am trying to Process the quality lot which is created automatically through QA32, I got an error, ,No inspection plan could be found'
When i create an inspection lot system is picking up the Task list and picking up the Sample size.
Please provide some light on this.
