Inspection lot transfer posting

Hi Experts,
I am trying to do QAC2 for the inspection lot for which UD is not done.
But I am getting error as "You cannot make a quantity transfer posting for insp. lot xxxxxxxxx
Message no. is Message no. QA068.
But the stock is still in quality.
So can anybody guide me on this?

This is auto generated lot.
And the lot status showing is Usage decision has been made.

                                               Sample calculated
                                                Short-term insp. complet
                                              All inspections complete
                                              Stock posting completed
                                               Statistics updated
                                                 Handling units assigned
So is it possible to do transfer posting when the stock is in quality to some other storage location?

Inspection Lot Stock: Post to GR blocked stock

Hi Experts,
During the IQC process (inspection type 01), first I use the 103 to post the stock to GR Block stock (100 pcs), then after the Usage Decision, I post the stock 80 to unrestricted use stock, 20 remain in the GR blocked stock.
So, the 20 stay in the GR Blocked stock, and what can I deal with them? Manually create a inspection lot?

Dear KK,
The GR Blocked stock could be released to unrestricted stock by the 105 type while doing the usage decision.
However, in this occassion, this 20 is remained in the GR blocked stock by using the "GR blocked stock" field in the Inspection Lot Stock tab of the QA14.

Displaying inspection lot (not posted in inspection stock) as mrp element

Hi guys,
we are implementing SAP QM. Our problem is that we are not using the inspection stock because we are also implementing a non-sap warehouse system. So we are not posting our goods receipt which have to be inspected in inspection stock but the inspection lot for the material is generated. Now we want to display this inspection lot in the transaction MD04. We suspect that we have to injoin in coding which we want to avoid. Has anybody of you experience or information with this issue? If yes I would appreciate your help a lot.

thanks a lot for your answer. Unfortunately the situation is as i had explained. We are implementing SAP QM and we also have to link a external warehouse-management-system with our SAP-system-landscape. So if we want to post the goods receipt, which has to be inspected by quality department, in our warehouse manangement system, we cant post anything if the goods are on inspection stock. Goods in inspection stock can only be posted out with usage of the UD (usage decision). But the goods receipt place in reality is too small for waiting of this decision from quaility and so the goods have to be posted in the warehouse. Because of this situation we can not use the inspection stock. If we would use SAP WM we would not have this problem. We handle this problem in using restricted batches for the goods receipts. So we can post the GRs in the warehouse system but you can not use it if the usage decision is not made. I hope i have made the situation a bit clearer to you now.
My problem now is, that the material requirements planning team wants to see in MD04 the goods which are in a inspection lot as you can see it in standard if you use inspection stock for these goods. But if the goods are not posted in inspection stock with the inspection lot you can not see it in MD04, unfortunately. My question is, are there any user exits, customizing settings or any experiences/ideas of you to handle this problem?

U can Post the Quantity for
To scrap             0.000
To sample usage      0.000
To blocked stock     0.000
To new material      0.000
To reserves          0.000
Return Delivery      0.000..
While posting every Qty a Small window Appears and asks for
Reason for Mvmt
Text   (this is the text we enter) ..... i want to know where this text is stored
SLED/BBD ...(some date format)

Inspection lot stock posting issue

My inspection lot for qty 23 no's was created after doing GR against PO. While doing Usage decsion for the same, I wanted to post 20 qty to unresticted and 3 qty to reurn to vendor .when I went to the ispection stock tab page in UD , and tried doing the same there was an error while saving the same.
However the ispection lot status changed to UD ICCO SPST.
The stock is still lying in QI stock.I can see that in the stock report MMBE
Now my issue is that I am not able to post the quantity to unresticted stock. While i try to change the inspecton lot in QA12 transaction , the system issues a message that UD is done and hence cannot change.
Please do suggest how I can over come this issue and post stocks to Unresticted stocks

What you don't tell us is what does your stock overview report show? The status SPST indicates that stock posting has been started which means that something has been posted somewhere.
Go and display the UD. Look at the stock posting screen and see what it says has been posted. Verify that it matches what you see in MMBE in the stock overview.
Did you access QA12 directly or via the QA32 worklist. Try using QA12 in the command line and see if you can get into it. Typically you should always be able go back and change the UD code.
Report back to use what you find.

Inspection Lot stock posting automatically

In my company for e.g. the stock in quality is 100 nos. while doing QA32 i am specifying 20 nos for unrestricted stock and saving it. But while checking the stock the total quantity is 100 in unrestricted stock. I again tried again for another 100 material now i specified 30 to blocked stock and remaining i left it in quality. But also it is taking remaining 70 to unrestricted stock is there any special settings for this kind of lot. I am using inspection type 01. But for inspection type 04 partial stock posting is happening.

The problem you are facing is controlled by customizing of selected set. When you define selected set code using T.Code: QS51, an option is there to propose stock posting and a check box for background stock posting. If you keep both the options blank for the given UD Code/ selected set code, the system will not automatically post the stock.

Based upon UD Code Inspection lot stock Posting will be done How?

QM Experts,
While doing Quality confirmation at UD stock posting I have the following Reqirements.
1. Accepted: If UD Accepted then disable all field except Unrestricted Use.
2. Rejected: If UD Rejected then disable the Unrestricted use and enable Scrap, Blocked and Return Delivery.
3. Partially Accepted: All the Posting field can be enabled.
This is to ensure that no manual error occur while Stock posting.
I suggested to use User Exit QEVA0001 but ABAPer can't able to Break Point the User Exit. Is there any other solution to achieve this req.?. Will be greatful.

Dear Ramakrishna,
As NehSap said, its better to stick to the business...
This is to ensure that no manual error occur while Stock posting.
Even if there are manual errors, you can correct and Re-post the stock later.
I suggest you to Use QA32 or customize new report, which will show you the UD, and stock.
so that quality department can check this report daily, they will check their Usage decisions and Stock postings.
if they found any Manual error, they can correct it

Inspection Lot created before Post Goods Recept of Inbound Delivery

Does anyone have experience of an inspection lot being created before a Post Goods Receipt is performed for an Inbound Delivery. This is preventing me from receipting the stock as
1. When you try to post goods receipt, I receive a warning that the stock can only be moved in QM only
2. When I try to apply a UD in the inspection lot and post the stock, the stock cannot post as the Handling Units are linked to the Inbound delivery
Any help would be welcome

Please clarify whether you want to modify th efield at item or header. Please check the Badi names Starting with LE_SHP* .These BADI' are for Delivery.find the Suitable BADI and Apply it. For custom tab at header BADI is LE_SHP_TAB_CUST_ITEM

The BADI does not allow the update of data. There is a common trick used to perform the job ...
- in the BADI, export the data to memory (e.g. in TRANSFER_DATA_FROM_SUBSCREEN)
- in the old-fashion exit like USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELDS_TO_LIPS, import the data and map it.

Problem with inspection lot

We get the usage decision via IDOC to SAP from LIMS
Due to some technical issue for one inspection lot,only the status UD got updated to the inspection lot ,stock posting ,valuation codes etc are blank and not updated
Now the stock is stuck in quality
We are not able to process that inspection via QA12/QA11/MB1B
QA12 u2013 u201CUsage decision has not been made yetu201D
MB1B u2013 u201CChange the inspection stock in QM onlyu201D
QA11 -The functcannot be carried out as Status UD is updated
Can you please suggest how to release the stock from QI

Apply SNOTE 174877.
Copy the program ZQEVAC22 in the SNOTE and create a tcode for that.
Then the inspection lot UD system status will reverse after executing
Now through QA32 do the usage decision and quantity postiing

Error in quant generation after creation of inspection lot

Hi All,
Our client is using the standard customer return process which is integrated with the QM.
Problem : If the return sales order/delivery contains two similar line items with same material/batch then system creating different inspection lots after post goods receipt (Mov type 651) but only one quant is getting generated for total quantity with only one inspection lotn umber. Quant is not generating for remaining inspection lots. Please suggest the solution or SAP note?

If you are using TAXINN procedure, check apart from VK11 check you have maintained TAX CODE for excise condition types. Example FTXP or VK19 (using application as TX). Also check whether you are using UTXJ condition type. If you are using UTXJ condition type then please remove it.
For TAXINN you need not have UTXJ condition type.

Consignment pick up create inspection lot

Hi There,
We want to create a inspection lot when posting goods receive coming from a customer consignment stock.
We use the standard movement type 632 to get the stock back from the consigment stock.
I did not find a way to create an inspection lot using this movement type.
Compared to movement type 651 which is used in RE creates an inspection lot.
Any ideas?

For movement type 632, I dont think, an inspection lot will be created since you are taking the goods back from your own stock.
Nevertheless, you can try with this option by assigning the inspection type 06 to your return delivery type in the following IMG path
Quality Management > Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Creation > Inspection at Shipping > Assign Inspection Lot Origin to Delivery Type.

Don't see inspection Lot in my SCM 5.0 system

Hi,
I try to activate the functionality to see inspection lot as planned receipt to the end of the control date.
I activate this functionality in the CIF's IMG on my ECC system and activate/desactivate the Integration model for stock. So now I don't have inspection lot in my stock.
I create and activate an integration model for Inspection Lot transfer but I never see this inspection lot in my SCM 5 system.
Could you help me ?

Hi Laurent,
In the location master data in the SNP tab please maintain appropriate stock category group in the field Stock Cat. group to display the inspection stock.
In the planning book the INITIAL STOCK macro reads the stock from this category group, you should maintain all the stock category that you want to use for planning like unrestricted stock, inspection stock, vendor specific stock in this category group.

Inspection lot is being created before good issue

Dear gurus.,
Here´s the scenario: a Fert Material has InspType 05 active and inspection plan is also created.
The users on SD are trying to post goods issue at VL01n returning this material to our stock. However the system show a message "Status of inspection lot 050000000242 / partial lot 000000 does not allow good issue".
This messages does not appear when they SAVE the "delivery" BEFORE posting the good issue. When that happens, a inspection lot is created at QA32 without movement type. So QM has to process this inspeciton lot before SD do the good issue. When the goods issue is carried out then another inspection lot is created on QM with a movement type 655.
I can´t figure out why the system is creating this inspection lot BEFORE posting the goods issue. I´ve check the "data for goods issue" at QA03 on those ispection lot and it says numbers of the costumer, sales order and delivery. Shouldn´t be only one inspection lot with movement type 655?
I kindly ask for your help.

It sounds like your system has maintained an inspection type for the return delivery type in the SD config and that you have QM activated for movement type 655 in config. Do one or the other.
When the inspection type is configured against the delivery type, the inspection lot is created when the delivery is created.
The config is found in QM, quality inspection, inspection lot creation, inspection at shipping.

Inspection lot shouldn't create for Transfer posting(311) sloc specific

i need expert advice on this issue.
here specific to one plant when user is doing transfer posting through movement type 311, user doesn't want inspection lot (specific to storage locations ).
Here specific to that Material quality is active. and business want quality active for other all plants.
i tried the T code OMJJ, if i deactive the quality here than this will applicable to all plants.
here v can deactive the quality at plant level through Material Master but here business wants to restrict at sloc level only.
b'coz if v deactive at plant level than quality will skip at the time of GR.
so how we can control the inspection lot creation for movement type ( 311 ) and storage location combination.?

Automatic WM transfer order during inspection lot posting to non-WM-sloc

I have a question in regards of automatic creation of WM-transfer orders during QM-inspection lot posting from a WM-storage location to a non-WM-storage location:
- MIGO IM-posting: goods receipt with reference to purchase order to a WM-storage location
=> inspection lot automatically created
=> WM-stock is located on 902 GR area external rcpts / stock category Q
- Inspection lot: enter result and usage decision with posting of inspection lot stock to a non-WM storage location into the blocked stock
A transfer requirement (movement type 311 / destination u201C921 Transferu201D) is created after the inspection lot posting (QA11) but the auto-creation functionality is not possible since the u201CSystem cannot find source storage binu201D.
How can this auto-creation of a transfer order be realized since it is possible to create the transfer order manually via LB11 (entering source u201C902u201D / storage bin u201CPurchase Order no.u201D)?
The system cannot find the storage bin automatically.

Please let me know are u using quality interim storage area. If you clear material from quality and want material to go to bin then it should be warehouse managed storage location.
