Inspection Plan - Change order date Combination issue

We are facing 1 issue in our system.
The Inspection plan assignments with new change orders is not assigning the correct inspection plan.
Example:
Plan                       Change Number               Valid from Date
1                              CO-1                                1/01/2007
2                              CO-2                                1/01/2008
3                              CO-3                                1/01/2010
The plan selected when Change order CO-2 is cut in, is plan 1 but should be Plan 2. We believe the date on the CO does not drive the selection of the most current plan. When plan 3 is implemented after plan 2, Plan 2 is selected.
Any one has faced this kind of issue in your exp?

Assume you mentioned purchase order change date ?
Change document date won't be updated in the purchase order header table(EKKO) or purchase order item table(EKPO).Generally all the changes will updated in the CDHDR (Change doument header table ) with Object value OBJECTID( Doument number ex: purchase order ) , User name of the person responsible in change document USERNAME , Creation date of the change document UDATE and etc,..
In your case consider CDHDR- UDATE filed as change order date. While selecting the updated information from the table make join query bet'n EKKO, EKPO and CDHDR with required combination and show the change order date on the PO printout.

How to change order data in APO

Hi,
I am keen to know on ways to change order data in APO say order category BI.....we want to change date by taking input from cif user exit APOCF006.We need this information for the ongoing project.
I know two options...1) using BAPIs 2) Not very sure about this option ...Function Module:/SAPAPO/OMORDER*CHANGE.
Could you please help to have better understanding on ways to change orders in APO?

Demand node ofr purchase Ordre( BF) in SNP is Conrel( BI category). We want to change date( start date) at this demand node . We will get this date from R3 using say non cif method.
There are few ways to do it....
1) If we ignore Menas of Transport( so essentially transit time or lead time in tlane) in that purchase order and change this requirement date directly using purchase order save BAPI( requirement node) ......Question will system allow us to do so and even if it allows us to do so will it casue some problem( inconsistencies) later?
2) Second option I am thinking is...
For one product we maiantain GR processing time in product location master and this is considered while determining strat date of BI (Start date= Delivery date -GR procesisng time- means of Transport lead time - some other times ....). For this product let's say we have 100 Purchase Orders (BF). We have requirement that each of these POs should get separate treatment while calculating Start date. It means start date can be different for different POs and once we change it forcibly then it shoulkd not change unless we again change it forcibly.
We are thinking to change GR processing time at runtime wheneveer Purchase Order is changed. So if GR time in product location master is 1 day ....for different Purchase Orders different GR processing time can be considered. Say for Po1...its 2 day...for P2 its 4 day.
Or similar way we can change transit time as given in means of transport in tlanes.

Inspection plan - Valid to date

Dear gurus,
Iam using change number to create Inspection plan. System is displaying always Valid to date as "31.12.9999". But as per business requirement of the client, validity period is 3 yrs. How can i change the date.
1)     Can i cahnge at change number level?
2)     or At inspection plan level?
Iam giving you the details of the field at Inspection plan level.
Transaction: Qp01

screen Field name: PLKOD-DATUB
Program name: SAPLCPDI
Package: CP
Pls guide me how to get valid date as 3 yrs plus valid from date.

Hi,
For change number effetivity we can think of another alternative.
1) Create one change number and create a inspection plan with group counter 1.
2) Create another change number and create another inspection plan with group counter 2.Second change number
     validity should be from 01.01.2012
3) When a goods receipt is done system automatically assigns the inspection plan with group counter 1 till 31.12.2011.
4) When a goods receipt is done on 01.01.2012 system will create the inspection lot with status created as there are
     2 inspection lots from 01.01.2012.
5) Go to the first inspection lot and change the status to 1 and assign second inspection lot which is valid from 01.01.2012.

BI-IP To track the planning changes after Data Locking

Hi All,
Need your help to design solution for one critical user requirement in IP.
We all know that in CC Planning, every month after certain date we lock the planning tool and freeze the data. But on exceptional basis, we might require to unlock planning tool to allow users to do some changes in planning data.
User wants to track these changes and report it out. Is there any standard functionality that SAP-IP has provided to track these kind of changes? If not what is the best way to achieve this?

Hi,
You need to have additional characteristics for User & Date in your RTP to record who changed when and what plan record.
Then you can create a characteristic relationship of type 'Exit Class' to derive User Id(last changed by) and the date(last modified).
Itu2019s not necessary to include User-ID and Date in any of the aggregation levels, but the Source Characteristic(Company code may be in your case) based on which the values are derived for User-ID & Date, must be present in each aggregation level.
Then create a custom class say ZCL_LOC_CR_LINE_ITEM by taking class CL_RSPLS_CR_EXIT_BASE as super class and then redefine the method DERIVE of interface IF_RSPLS_CR_METHODS in your class.
You can write following code in your method DERIVE:
CLEAR e_t_mesg.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <l_chavl> TYPE ANY.
ASSIGN COMPONENT '/BIC/ZUSERID' OF STRUCTURE c_s_chas TO <l_chavl>.
<l_chavl> = sy-uname.
ASSIGN COMPONENT '0DATE' OF STRUCTURE c_s_chas TO <l_chavl>.
<l_chavl> = sy-datlo.
This will solve your purpose.

SNP Planning Book Capacity Data View Issue

Hi Friends,
In my SNP Planing Books Capcity Data View the total of Production Qty is not matching when I expand the Product wise view for Week 22 2011. Can some one help me to identify why this is happening?
Production Total Qty shown is 29618 but when I view Product Details it totals only 24650 but Total line shows 29618.

In the standard SNP planning area 9ASNP02, the relevant KF in Capacity view is 9ACASUP .
There may be a conflict identified between selection and key figures to be read.
You can choose a different selection condition or change to a different data view, and check if ti comes out correctly.

Preventive Maintenance Planning - change call date of future calls

Hello,
we are using time based maintenance plans to schedule our maintenance obligations towards customers. After creating the plan and scheduling (IP10) we get the scheduled calls proposed by the system.
Now we want to use IP10 or IP19 to move those planned call dates that are in the future without releasing the predecssor calls but it gives us an error: "Maintenance plan 16.04.2009: Predecessor to still on hold".
Does anyone know if there is a way around this?

As per your query... you cannot move the call dates which are in the future. First you have to skip the cal which are before the future cal date. then only you can do...

QM-Assign inspection plan to a variant of material (classification view)

Hello,
Inspection plans are commonly assigned to materials.
In my case, I would like to manage, in Classification view (MM01), a new characteristics named "Variant" that could have 2 or more values, depending on which variant I order to my supplier.
But is it possible to assign an inspection plan at this sub-level ? In QP01 the only possibility I see is assigning a material to the inspection plan. Can I customize something, or does it exist a trip to manager another level of assignment ?

Now I understood your requirement. But I would like to know the exact purpose of this requirement so that I can try to give you correct solution.
I will consider your example:
Material : 123
Classification: Inspection
Characteristics 1: Variant 1 for Inspection 1
Characteristics 2: Variant 2 for Inspection 2
Selection of inspection plan takes place during the creation of inspection lot. So now you have to link this material/classifcation/inspection plan combination at the time of inspection lot creation. I doubt whether this can be done using one user exit.
The user exits are
EXIT_SAPLCZCL_001
EXIT_SAPLCZDI_001
EXIT_SAPLCZDI_002
Please let me know whether it helps.

We have data in SAP...we need to move it from one plant to another.
I need to move the inspection plans from one plant to another..I need to make source files for this in order to use LSMW, can anyone tell me how to make source files for Inspection plans, which tables to use and which all field to include???

Hi,
I think above solution is ok to make your work easy, but if you want that control then you can use Engg Change Number functionality.
1. every year create inspection lot manually with inspection type 89.
2. check for inspection plan changes
3. Generate Change number and with that change number change the inspection plan.
4. now for change number we have release strategy. we can use this release strategy.
Please try and let me know if that is working.

Follow the steps,,,
Run CWBQM
Enter Current Working Area as "Q_TSK_000000000010"
Press Enter
Select the Task list Type as "Inspection Plan"
As you need to change it for all inspection plan in the data base, don't use any other filter criteria just Press "F8" to load the task list.
In the next appearing screen EWB: Headers Overview the 18th column is for STATUS.
Select this column
Then Select all line items (Short cut key to do such is (Ctr+F2)
Then follow the path Extras--->Mass Change
Enter New Value here
Check and then Execute.

Hi Vineeth,
Standard SAP does not support this. Though I came across similar situation for maintenance plan, where we used BADI for this.
Try to go through DIG_SIGNATURE_MAINT_PLAN. Consult with a good ABAPer if he can modify it some how for inspection plan.

Could you please help to me regarding this issue.
I need to change End date of billing plan/invoice plan in sales order item of "billing plan" Tab.( FPLA-ERDAT) for all line items. It is not a one sales order,more than 1000 sales orders.
How can i change those end date of billing plan for all line litems and all sales orders ( i have input file with sales orders, items, dates.)

Master data changes not updated in Inspection Plan- QP01

We created all the QM master data . After that we did some changes in inspection chars and in the sampling master data.but the values are not reflecting in the Inspection plan . How to update the changes in the inspection plan. We are trying to find indIvidual as well as Mass update

Another easy method will be maintaining MIC as referenced mic. instead of maintaining it as complete copy model you can make it referenced. any changes in the mic can be updated automaticalyin the inspection plan using the referenced functionality.
The issue being wherever the mic goes will be changed,

Change of sales order in combination with planned/released production order

How do you deal with changes in the sales order in combination with planned orders and the scenario how to deal with release production orders?
Can you tell me the SAP scenario, technically or reports or transactions or user exits, etc?

Here You have 2 scenarios
1. Sales order changed at planned order stage
In this case any chagne of quantity done in the sales order level will be taken care by the Planned order until it was not firmed .
In case if it was firmed for the increased qty you will get a new planned order getting created.
In case if it is reduced and if it was unfirmed it will get changed accordingly
2. Sales order changed at production order stage
if the planned order was converted to production order change we can manually changes the respective Production order util no confirmation was done to any operations..
