Inspection stock tab in UD

Hi Experts,
There is no tab of inspection stock in UD screen.
I am trying to post stock from quality to unrest. from UD screen for lot origin 10.
Please help.

There are basically two types of inspection Stock relevant inspection and Non stock relevant inspection.
1.Stock relevant inspection : ex. inspection type 01,04,08,where after the UD you are going to post the stock from one location to another say from quality to unres,or blocked etc.Here you will see the stock posting tab in the UD screen.
2. Non stock relevant inspection: ex. 10,03 where stock remains in the same location and you are doing the inspection there itself sa in 03-in process inspection the inspection is carried out on shop floor and even if the UD is OK the stock remains on shop floor itself so there is no need of Stock tab and hence these inspection types do not require stock tab in UD.
Hence you cannot see the stock posting tab in 10 inspection type .

In our organization there are two scenarios,
1)     Make to order- Strategy group -20
2)     Make to stock- Strategy group -10
I have maintained 05 inspection types in QM view for sale return inspection from customer.
1) In make to order scenario Inspection lot created with inspection stock tab which is OK.
2) But in make stock scenario no inspection lot is generated.
    Remember I donu2019t want inspection lot without inspection stock tab as per insp. type-06
So please suggest me, what can I do for getting inspection lot with stock tab for make to stock scenario.

QA32 Inspection Stock Posting

Hello
My requirement is to make rejection text mandatory when inspection stock is posted to blocked area in inspection stock tab of QA32 Tcode. so kindly let me know is any user exit or BADI Available

This Badi QEVA_ALT_QTY_INPUT not triggering
QEVA0001 This is exit is triggerring but data is getting save after display error message.

Inspection lot w/o stock tab

Hi Guru,
We receive job work items through MIGO and MB31.
During MIGO , create one inspection lot w/o inspection lot stock tab and again create one more inspection lot at the time of MB31.
Pl. suggest any setting so that only one inspection lot will create after MB31.

Kindly excuse me but thereu2019s a confusion to me, if you can please clarify the same.
1.     First transaction that you are carrying out is MIGO for 101 movement I guess.
2.     For this movement you are observing that inspection lot stock is not getting generated. The probable one of the reasons for this according to me is, goods receipt against cost center using item category K in PO.
3.     When you inward such material against K, the stock gets consumed at the same moment you inward it. This is standard behaviour of SAP.
My question is,
1.     MIGO is done for say material XYZ. (the stock is not visible in MMBE if you have inwarded against cost center.)
2.     Now MB31 is done for which material? Is it the same material or different? If you have activated 04 inspection type to the material whose production you are declaring then system will generate the lot for it in 04.
3.     MB31 is generally used for goods receipt against production order.
I am unable to establish the link between MIGO and MB31 here.

Inspection lot stock tab is missing

In inspection lot generated for 01 insp type purchase order, the inspection lot stock tab is missing.
Is there any control ?

No.
The inspection lot stock tab is not cotrolled by user in standard, but fields possible by configuration.
If there is no inspection lot stock tab, it means the inspection lot has no stock even if insp. type '01'.
As YOGINI mentioned already, it must be source inspection or GR with other account assignment (not stock).

When i give UD system not taking to Inspection lot stock tab for entering qty to move to unrestricted or block stock
We manualy want to select the tab for entering qty to move to unresticted
were the setting need to be done

I think you are talking about the stock posting proposal in the selected set.
in QS51 > selected the code group> go to codes> maintain a proposal against each code> Remove the proposal for automatic posting.
Then it will take you through the stock posting screen after you enter the UD code.

Display mode of storage location field in inspection lot stock tab in QA11

I want to maintain the storage location filed in display mode in Inspection lot stock tab in Transaction QA11
So please anyone can help me to solve this.

I'm not sure I understood the question.
In the UD screen on the first page the storage location is shown in display mode. To change that you can use QAC2.
On the stock posting screen you can change the storage location the stock is being posted if desired. Usually most places don't have a need to change this and procedurally train their users not to.
If you wanted the stock posting screen to be display only, you probably have to use the screen editor to modify that which I don't think you really want to do.
You could use automatic UD's to process your ok lots and then take away the QA11/12 from most of your users. Then have only a few people trained to do the inspection lots requiring a manual UD. If these people change the storage location it would be a specific choice they made, not an accident. If this becomes a problem, they either need more training, or need to be fired.

No "Inspection lot stock" tab in QA11

Hi,
Quality lot gets created for each Goods Receipt for material with Quality management active. For particular raw material we found that for last Goods receipt the quality lot got created as usual. But in QA11 we found that there is no "Inspection lot stock" tab whereas for the second last Goods receipt for the same material there is "Inspection lot stock".
What would be the reason?

QM does not suppoort Stock Posting for Special Stock like B, K.

SAP QM - Inspection Lot Stock tab missing in QA11

Hi,
My scenario is raw material inspection and I executed the scenario as follows
Step 1 : Assigned 01 inspect type to the material in QM view .
Step 2 : Created three MIC's
Step 3 : Created Sampling procedure
Step 4 : Created inspection plan for material by assigning MIC's & Sampling procedure to operation.
Step 5 : Goods receipt of 100 Qty for the material through purchase order.
Step 6 : Created Inspection lot for material.
Step 7 : Inspection lot selection for material and recorded the results.Then valuated the results and i reject 2 out of 3.
Now I have to post the some qty to unrestricted use & some qty to vendor i.e return delivery. To do the same, inspection lot stock tab is missing in QA11.
Pls suggest if I missed any thing in this process.

I will clear the confusion.
As I described the scenario in my first post, I have created inspection lot manually (QA01), then selected the same using QA32, here I had recorded the results & UD also. When I check in MMBE for unrestricted use stock, it is still showing under QI only. Then I identified that Inspection lot stock was missing. So, I started posting in SCN (After searching).
Mean while in the discussions I thought that, I completed RR & UD for the material. Now if any suggestions from expects won't applicable for my query. So, after Craig's recent discussion, for the same material once again I have done the GR through purchase order and created inspection lot manually.
Now I found inspection lot (1st) through Material Document(i.e. MB51 as suggested by Mr.Craig)
In QA32 (2nd) inspection lot, which is created manually.
Now I have two inspection lots for the same material and I have not recorded the results nor UD for these lots. Just created and waiting for suggestions.
And for 1st inspection lot , I tried to do results recording using QA11 also. But system through's error as shown in screenshot.
I think I cleared the confusion.
Pls correct me if I am wrong or missed anything.

What is the inspection type there for your query. See there are two type of inspection types in QM
1. Stock relevant: e.g. 01,04,08,09 etc
2. Stock Ir-Relevant e.g. 03,14,05 etc
So if your inspection lot belongs to these stock ir-relevant inspection types then there will be no chance of any stock posting there.
But if the inspection lot belongs to the inspection type from Stock relevant types then there must be the "Post to Inspection stock" indicator will be off for it in Inspection set up>QM view>Material Master.

Enhancement for QA32 Inspection lot stock tabs

Hello everybody:
   In QA32 user can do UD operation in "Characteristics" tabs and do Posting operation in "Inspection lot stock" tabs.
   phase 1: I use QEVA0010 enhancement to check UD in "Characteristics" tabs and it works.
   phase 2: I need to check the value of "To unrestricted use" field in "Inspection lot stock" tabs but I can't find enhancement to do that.
   In my company, some user can use QA32 to do UD and do posting. But some of them often do posting without UD. In QA32 there is only a warning message if you do posting without UD. So I need to check when user enter value in "Inspection lot stock" tabs some conditions must be satisfied (like UD).
Is there any enhancement to use for my issue? thank you.
ps. I have already tried QEVA0001. it doesn't wok.

Here i suggest you that if you are using Exit for UD then in that only just apply one code where program first will check the QAMR/QASR etc. all result table field w.r.t inspection lot and if fields found empty means no data or RR then system wont pass UD code for UD posting.
Or just make first MIC as required MIC and apply the code in that first MIC, if that MIC value is blank then again system wont allo UD.
Secondly, Status profile maintenance is also an another stdn way to execute the requirement.

Inspection Lot Stock Tab - To Be Posted to Unrestricted-Use Stock

At the time of UD,sometimes i forget to enter the unrestricted stock quantity in inspection lot stock tab therefor quantity does not transfer into unrestricted stock and its shown in QI.So,i want to make it mandatory.please suggest me,How to do it?

Hi Vivek,
Please activate "Stock Posting in Background" indicator in Tx QS51 for your UD code as shown below -
This should solve your purpose and complete stock form QI will be posted to Unrestricted stock/Blocked stock. This is a safer process I always recommend.
Otherwise, in case you still wish to so UD posting form 'Inspection Lot - Stock Tab' manually, but want to make sure that is there is no quantity selected, then the UD shouldn't be done, then you will have to make enhancement appropriately below -

Some how i am getting three unexpected observation
1. Inspection lot stock tab in UD is not there.....how to make it appear so that i can do the quantity posting can be done.
For your information this is against good receipt & QA32 quantity to be posted is showing the qty correctly.....which means stk is in quality
2. In MMBE transaction i am not able to view batch & qty posting
3 In MB51 i can see the document details but qty is showing in unrestricted....which means stk in unrestricted which contractdory to my first statement.
Kindly let me know
1. How to make Inspection lot stock table available in UD
2 Any clue for 2 & 3 point if possible.

i have faceing problem change usage dicision overview when i click inspection lot stock tab in qa14 tcode insp.stock check box are disable can you any idea how will enable this check box
becase when i make goods recpt. fields qals-ismsk update X in dicator so problem of gr cancelation

In QA14 will only allow to change UD without changing Stock posting(Without history).
& stock posting is completed .So you can not enale it.
For this what you can is go to QA32 -->select lots with UD...enter plant & Material.
Go to Details & change UD
In Inspection lot stock...Check the Quantity if you have partially posted.
Post the remaining Qty if any.
Save
This will allow you to cancel GR (102 mvt) as QI stock becomes Nil
While cancellation og Gr pick Qty from Unrestricted & not from QI ( Blank & not X)
