Inspection UD for subcontractor quality stock

Dear All SAP Guru's
I have created one PO , in that stating to delivery at subcontractor and selecte the appropriate checkbox in the PO .After MIGO stock posted to subcontractor with movment type 101 O in quality .Our QM consultant release the inspection lot,he found that there is no stock to post to unresticted.And stock remains in the quality only after inspection lot cleared with UD.
Please suggest the solution.

For subcontracting -- stock types available are Unrestricted and Blocked ( no QI stock is there ).

Single inspection lot for multiple operation

Hi
I am creating a process order having 10 operation. the 3,5 and 8 are quality inspection (inprocess inspection) & last is PP operation that is for final confirmation.
The control key in quality operations are pi02 and for production operation are pi03.
i am using insp type 03 in material master
Curently only one inspection lot is trigerring for all operations hence while RR, all operation are appearing (Quality & production).
User needs diffirent inspection lots for different quality operation.
How can i triggere lots per QC operation??
I would be vary thankful if i get it.

Hi
Std will create one inspection lot for 1 process order
and RR will show all operations which is related to inspection
ask PP guy that cotrol indicator Pi03 - insp. char to be uncheck
then it will not show those operations not relevant for inspection
is't fullfill your requirement
why your business needs individual inspection lot for each operation?

QM:Setting for Recurring Inspections(every 2 hour)for Batch Material Stock.

I hope, you know necessary settings for my situation. Because on our russian SAP-forum I haven't got answer until now.
Situation:
We have Batch Material Stock on the plant.
And it is necessary to do for that stock Quality Control every 2 hours.
I activete 09 type of control in Material Master.
Create quality specification for material.
Create in QA05 Schedule\ Schedule periodically \ Repeat period - 2 hours.
But it doesn't work - inspection lot does not create.
Who knows what I shall to do?

Everything is ok, but when I want to record result (in qe51n) for inspection point and at the end of the process press the button "Inspection point" -> "Batch carac." -> "Continue" -> error appear "ABAP/4 error during dynamic assign beyond program bounds".
Is it because I haven't edit FM from config 150 Inspection point?
I don't know how to do it. And deside to config all the process before give to edit that FM to our ABAP-consultants.

Quality Stock relevant for MRP

How can I make Quality Stock in a location relevant to MRP. By default it appears this stock is not included. Can you please help.

Net Requirements Calculation
The net requirements calculation is carried out in MRP in the planning run after the planning file
check and at plant level. The system checks whether it is possible to cover requirements with the
plant stock and fixed receipts already planned. In the case of a shortage the system creates a
procurement proposal.
Process Flow
1. The system calculates plant stock. For all storage locations which belong to this plant and
which are not excluded from materials planning or are planned separately, the following
stocks are grouped together to form plant stock:
Unrestricted-use stock
Stock in quality inspection
Unrestricted-use consignment stock
Consignment warehouse stock in quality inspection
In Customizing for MRP in the IMG activity Availability of Stock in Transfer/Blocked
Stock/ Restricted Stock, you can also determine whether stock in transfer, blocked stock
and restricted-use stock are included in the plant.

Invoice block for quality stock

How to block the material for invoice payment i(MIRO) which is laying as the quality stock after did the GR against the purchase order.
for our case, while check the OQB1- the block not happen for the particular material
but for other materils it working fine

i checked the condrol key . it have the tick mark in blocked invoice and released required.
and more same thing is maintained in another material which is got the invoice block while do the miro.
so it may not be related to material master, q-info record.
so pls tell me anyother posibility which is particular to material and vendor basics .

Quality Mgt - can I create a new inspection type for source inspection

I want to create a new inspection type for surce inspection and I will assign it to Miscellaneous insp lot origin.
What is the application of vendor inspection lot origin ? Can be used for source inspection ?

HI,
For source inspection.
If existing insp types are not going to solve your purpose , you can create insp type & assign it to insp lot origin 01.
But before that , check whether you can use the existing insp type 01 / 0130.
You need to assign that inspection type in the Q-info record , in the source insp field of insp control.

    Inspection type for the source inspection
Use
    If you enter an inspection type for inspection lot origin 01 in this field, you can create an inspection lot for the source inspection within the lead time before the (scheduled) delivery date.
Dependencies
    The inspection type must be active in the inspection setup (Quality Management view) of the material master.
    If a status profile is stored in the quality info record for the supply relationship, a goods receipt inspection takes place instead of a source inspection.

How to pick quality stock for a delivery in WM

Hi All,
I am working on a scenerio wherein stock is to be picked from unrestricted and quality stock type, wherver available. It has been acheived by making setting in availability check control "Include Quality Stock".
The scenerio and the issue is-
The storage location is WM linked. For testing I maintained stock only in Quality . While creating delivery for a sale order, the batch got determined which belongs to quality stock. But when I do LT03 for the delivery it tries to pick the stock from unrestricted use in WM.
How to make system search the stock in the Quality in WM.

You can do this with the Equal? function found in the Comparison palette. You would have one Equal? function for each index that you're interested in- one input would be a constant of that number and the other input will be the index terminal of the for loop. Next, you can you a Compound Arithmetic found in the Boolean palette. The number of inputs of the Compound Arithmetic can be expanded to match the number of indices that you're interested in, and each input will be the output of an Equal? function. Finally, the output of this Compound Arithmetic will be in the input of the selector in a Case Structure where you will have a true and false case to toggle the Boolean.

Invoce verification blocking for quality stock

Dear SAP Experts,
We dont have quality module in our project, I have one requirment , When goods are posted to quality stock during MIGO, The iinvoice verification has to be stoped till the stock is posted to Un Restricted Use, Please suggest me how to stop the invoice verification,

You can send material to quality via delivery schedule tab in purchase order item level, Then while migo goods is in quality inspection , after that use 321 movement to remove goods from quality inspection , so that you can make miro after that .

101 to be used only for unrestricted stock and not for quality stock

Dear Experts,
My client requires that mvt type 101 to be used for GR into ONLY unrestricted stock and not into Quality stock, if it requires we can create new mvt type as well.
Please let me know how to achieve this.

You can set default value in MIGO for movement type and stock type..
Go to MIGO
The set default value for stock type as Unrestricted and movement type 101.
Then Go to OLMB-Settings for Enjoy Transactions-Settings for Goods Movements (MIGO)-Field Selection for MIGO
Here set the field Stock type as display..
Then check in MIGO
The field value will be unrestricted always and user will not able to change this..
Test the scenario and revert back..

MB5B Report for Date Wise Stock and Value

Hi,
I am Taking MB5B Report for Date Wise Stock and Value.
But I have one doubt all stocks is coming or not in these report like Unrestrected Stock,Return Stock.Blocked stock,Transist stock,Restrected Stock,qty Inspection Stock.
I have another Doubt in these report three Stock type indicaters are there like these.
1.Storage Location / Batch Stock
2.valuated Stock
3.Special Stock.
But i have one doubt what is defferent these

Yes MB5B report consider the Unrestricted, Quality, Blocked, Transit stock and restricted stock. Not sure about Return Stock.
If you select the Storage location/Batch stock radio button then the system will display all the possible stock from the storage location and the corresponding batch also.
If you select Valuated stock radio button then system will show only the valuated stock not the Non-valuated stock. Because Non-valuated material type is available in SAP system will not show those stock suppose if you select the Valuated stock radio button.

How to revert stock in quality stock after qty issued with movemt type 704

Hi Experts,
User issued qty from quality stock to cost centre trough T-Code MI10. Inspection lot against the issue qty has status u201CREL CALC SPCO PRII CROK QLCHu201D This lot has been generated through mov 101 against PO (GR). After doing GR qty posted in quality stock. By mistake user has issued qty from quality stock to cost centre trough T-Code MI10. For same movement type was 704.
Now they want same qty back in quality stock also they want to do UD for the same. How to get back this stock in quality stock?

hi Sandy,
Quickest and easiest option without lot of configuration and process change for your scneario will be ,
The transaction code is MB0A.
The steps for executing the above trancode is as follows.
Inputs:-
Posting date : UD date.
Movement type : 102
Enter relevant plant, storage location, vendor and the material code
The purchase order/sch.agreement for the given vendor-matl-plant combination will be displayed.
Select the correct PO and click adopt selected.
The material with quantities to be reversed will appear in various line items. Select the correct quantity for which the reversal to be made.
Click adopt + details
Enter storage location
Remove "X" in the stocktype field
Save.
Material document will be generated.
The correct material could be inwarded again and correct usage decision can be taken against this lot.
Get approval from Materials and Finance guys.   As long as your accounting documents nurlifies each other , you should be good to go.
If not you have to use the same proess   witht twiests , with other movement types for which you have activated inspection type.

Not creating inspection lot for STO

Hi ,
I have two plants X(Supplying) and Y (Receiving).
In material master in quality 01 and 08 (inspection type) for plant Y active.
Process as folllow:
1)STO with U (acc assignment) created.
2)VL10B ,created delivery.
3)Vl02n PGI
4)Migo GR for STO did in plant Y.
but stock is not going in quality instead of this it is going in unrestricated.
Guys please throw some light ,why system is behaving like this.

In your STO purchase order in Delivery tab check if stock type is " X Quality Inspection"
Check in Material master updated inspection types 01 and 08 are checked as active
In material master quality view Post to inspection stock check box is active

Remove quality stock

Hi,
we currently have stock in quality inspection, but no inspection lots. I've tried to manually create an inspection lot (QA01) and then in QA11 release this stock to unrestricted. So far, I have not been able to move anything from quality stock. Inspection lot origin is 05.
Are there any specific settings I'm missing?

Please understand excisting QI qty you can't assign to manual created insp lot or in other words manual created lot will not get SPRQ status.
If you don't have any lot with status SPRQ that means you can do stock posting with 321 movement tupe with t-code MB1B. During this transaction if you get error message like inventory posting possible in QM only, in this case you can remove qty with cycle/ inventory posting t-code (MI01/ MI04/ MI07).

From Quality Stock to free stock

Where i can change the kind of stock for a material. I mean, i have 10 units of Material A in quality stock and i want to use this stock in a 201. How can i change it?

Dear Jorge,
There are following 2 ways to resolve your problem:
1.If 10 units of material were procured and Stock were posted to Quality stock.One Inspection Lot would have generated.Now,You need to first find out inspection Lot and record the results and finally record Usage decision.Steps are as follows-->
a) Search Inspection Lot using T code -QA33 by selecting relevant parameters e.g plant,material,date etc.
b) Record result using T code -QE51N by selecting tab Inspection Lot number and enter the desired Inspecction lot number(searched in first step)
c) Record usage decision using T code-QA11.Allocate Usage decision code from drop down list e.g "Approved" in case of free stock.You may not find "approved" UD as it might be given different name but idea is that you have select the UD code which make the stock free for use.
2.You can post transfer posting using Tcode -MB1B and 321 movement type.
This is how stock could be transferred from Quality Inspection stock to un-restricted stock(free use).

Clear Quality Stock

Hello !
Iam having Quality Stock in MMBE for the particular Item.I have to clear the Stcok from the Quality Stock in MMBE. But the Material is not displaying in the QA32 - Inspection screen. Since in Material Master for that Particular Item Quality Status is not in Active it is not displaying in QA32. And since there is stock in the Quality Area I am unable to change the Material Master.I have to clear the stcok from the Quality Area. Is there any Possible way to clear the Stock now. Or any possible way to move the stock to another storage Location from the Current location. Please any body tell me to solve this problem.
