Inspecttion lot batch

Hi Guys,
As you aware when we post the goods receipt Inspection lot will be generated and then when we are going to perform the usage decision where you can see the batch at Inspection lot. We did the same set up for Inbound delivery, when we create an Inbound delivery(Shipping notification) Inspection lot gets generated I can find the batch number in Inbound delivery but not in Inspection lot , If Quality users perform the usage decision they should see the batch and they shouldnt enter the batch manually so how can i get the batch automatically which has created at Inbound delivery?
Can anyone suggest where I missed this config ??

Hi Kiran,
Batch number will get updated in inspection lot upon Goods Receipt for inbound delivery.
Please check and confirm.

Donc si je pouvais traiter mes 300 pdf via flash avec un
script (centrage, nettoyage, paramétrage, ...) et un
"traitement par lot" ce serai le pied !
Comme Flash est chez Adobe, peut être on t ils
apporté cette fonctionnalité bien pratique ! non ? peut
être dans une prochaine mise à jour ? un addon ? un
composant ?

processing” it will be the foot!
How Flash is at Adobe, can be one T it to bring this quite
practical functionality! not? can be in a forthcoming update? a

Mais si on part du principe que tes fichiers .AI sont des fichiers hybrides (voir : http://abracadabrapdf.net/articles.php?lng=fr&pg=961 ) il devient possible d'automatiser l'opération sans une seule ligne de script en utilisant Acrobat et ses puissantes fonctions de traitement par lot pour exporter en .PS

Batch Mandatory in inspection lot

I need to have a batch as mandatory while creating inspection lots manually with inspection type 89. As of now batch field is not mandatory.

Hi ,
Manual Inspection lot batch field is not mandatory .It is not possible during creation of lot .
But at the time of UD system will ask you batch & not allow you to proceed further .
If you want at time creation of lot please cheke with abaper that any user exit can be possible

Lot and batch is the same. SAP does not know the word lot managment.
In SAP you can just have a lot batches )

Erro no envio de Lote com NF-e em Contingência (FS) para o Paraná

Experts, bom dia.
Devido à entrada em contingência em modo SCAN na data de ontem pelo Estado do Paraná, emitimos algumas NF-e's em Contingência, porém optamos por não emitir em SCAN, mas sim em Formulário de Segurança (FS).
Com isso, as notas que foram emitidas no momento da "queda" do SEFAZ PR ficaram "travadas" com engrenagem na J1BNFE. Comutamos estas Notas para poder emitir novas notas em Contingência. Assim que o SEFAZ PR voltou, resolvemos tirar a Contingência no ECC e enviar as NF-e's emitidas em FS.
Estas Notas (FS) foram enviadas corretamente ao GRC, que montou um Lote e tentou enviar ao SEFAZ PR pelo cenário BATCH. Porém ocorreu erro neste Lote (36-Erro de Sistema PI). Verifiquei na MONI e somente ocorre erro no Acknowledgement do BATCH:

Já tentei reenviar este Lote de FS diversas vezes e volta a ocorrer erro de ACK. As Notas emitidas em modo NORMAL para o PR estão sendo aprovadas normalmente.
Alguém já passou por esta situação? Ou tem idéia do que pode estar ocorrendo?

Standard Report for all inspection lots

Dear all,
Pls guide me from where I can retrieve the data for result recorded for MIC, inspection lot wise.
Actually currently working for Pharma company where we are using, Inspection Plan (task list type Q), with inspection point 200 u2013 Physical sample. Materials are being managed through Batches, so each inspection lot is having separate batch number.
Now the requirement is to find a STD sap report that can retrieve us the result for a material for all the inspection lots (Batches) it have, in the report type from where I can down load it to word/excel.
In short, the report should contain, Material, results for all MICs under all inspection lots.
I have already tried out;
QGP1 but it shoe the result for only a MIC at a time.
QGA2 but not able to visualize results for all MICs at once.
MCXB but, gives only the quantity of MICs not the results of it.

The requriement is to have results for the Inspection lots only, not for the batch values.
The report MCXD is giving the quantitative analysis for the batches, I will be very pleased if you suggest me any report that gives me the results (values entered during result recording) of these MICs, inspection lot wise, just as the MCXD give quantitative.
I think the term BATCH is creating confusion, that is Y u have suggested me CL03N, but as I have mentioned eariler also, currenlt working with Pharma company, where each manufacturing lot is give a batch number, (in sap terminology the Batch management function, MSC1N), that is why i freauently used BATCH. Sorry for that communicational error from my side, and I am very much thank full to you for your each valuable comment, suggestion.

Goods movement with Inspection Lot

We would like to do a Material to Material posting including the earlier created inspection lots for the initial material?
Is it possible in QM to transfer /link an inspection lot with batch from one material to another material?
Ex: one material has inspection stock with assigned inspection lot/batch. we would like transfer posting this stock to other material. Is it possible by transfer the inspection lot from one material to other material with inspection lot/Batch?

We can trasfer the stcok from one material to another material from Quality lot itself , but we cannot assign one lot to two materials. If you want inspection lot in receiving plant then activate 08 inspection type in Material Master and maintain inspection settings for 331 M.Type in SPRO.

Cuando están haciendo la estrada mercancía OP, en el momento de colocar el lote aparece un cuadro de diálogo que avisa que el lote ya existe y que si se desea continuar. Esta es la primera linea de control, por parte del usuario.
Por otra parte estuve revisando en el foro de expertos y encontré esto:

MM Archive Question

Hello Forum,
I've been uisng SARA to archive items and the process seems to work pretty well.
I recently received a request to delete a few items (to clean up some data prior to a new round of testing). However, for the items requested, there are still some inventory and open orders.
In prior archive sessions, i seem to recall that you could by-pass FI data verification and SD data verifcation via the use of radio buttons. But after sorting through all the variants and customization settings, I can't seem to locate these parameters anymore.
Does anyone know where I can locate these settings? I'm running this process in our QA environment and just need to clean out a number of undesirable items from the MARA, MARC and other tables.
I'd appreciate any coaching or guidance you can provide on this.

your goal is impossible thru archiving. And it was never possible in earlier releases.
You can only archive records that have no dependendent data.
the material must not be used in Bom, production order, purchase order, sales order, info record, source list, inspection lot, batch, must not have stock in current and previous year and about 100 other checks.
however in test systems you can use MMDE.
MMDE is only allowed in test system, and cannot be executed in production systems.
It erases the material master tables without checking if the material is already used in a bill of material or a purchase order. It just creates inconsistencies and was mainly to clear data for testing of inventory loads.

Fixed Order Quantity

Hi,
we are using ASCP together with SFM. We do descrete manufacturing for our products. The products flows look like this:
- asssembly item A (finished good item)
=> is make item (has routing), uses component3
- component3 is make item, uses component2
- component2 is make item, uses component1
- component 1 is buy item
So the flow of material looks like this:
component1 -> component2 -> component3 -> assembly4
(buy) (make) (make) (make)
In production we typically process only full Lots/Batches with a certain quantity depending on the component1.
We want that ASCP plans always full Lots, because the leadtime of the full Lot is always needed in reality. If ASCP plans with partial quantities, then the estimated/calculated leadtime for the planned orders will not be realistic.
To achieve this we want to use the Fixed Order Quantities, however it turned out that we run into several other problems if we use this parameter. For example it happens that system recommends to buy material (component1) just for the sake of the fixed order quantities.
We are running into issues if we enter the Fixed Order quantities, and we get other issues if we leave this empty.
I am looking for someone who has experience with this parameter and can give some recommendations. Maybe we use the wrong approach and there are other paramters that we should use to achieve what we want.

Oracle ASPC has some more meaningfull logic in Lead time calcualtion. It is not that Lead time will be wrong when you Process the low batch. On the other hand lead time goes up when you use Fixed order Quantity , irrespective of Demand. It also files up your inventory.
See for example, If you have fixed order quanitity for an item say 1000 numbers;assume that you have on hand for 500. and need to refill balance 500.
What will ASCP recommend you ?..1000 numbers.It files your invenotry...Does this mean that lead time for producing 1000 is less as compared to 500!!! also is it acceptable to produce extra 500..
.It also make you to plan low levels adversly with case cade effect...
You issue is not lead time...You are talking about setup time. If you produce more batches, you are occuring the more setups for same items. it makes lead time more lengthy considering the setup time. This is your problem and wanted to limit this or wanted to make it optimization. (Is it right my observation of your problem??)
How to control...?. Rather than speaking about lead time , let us talk in other way ...what is the Planning perid do you want want to conisder while planning a batch or lot size?. In other words let us take an example,,,
Component2 has a lead time of say 30 days for 1000 numbers. At the same time, I am able to accamadate only max 1000 numbers. If the demand goes up ,say for example, 2000, then I need to have two batches. If the goes less than 1000 and demand split in time gap ...for exmaple, 500 in first of week of may and 200 in last of week of may, still I want to consolidate 500+200 into one batch and want to Plan 700 as it is less that 1000.
If the above condition matches..you need to use Min Order/Max orde qunatity and Fixed days supply together. This is the wonderful way it controls the objective as stated above.In this example you will set min 1 , max 1000 and fixed days supply to 20 days.
How ever in some cases if the demand comes likes this, say for exmaple 2000 and 2000, then there is a recommendation to produce 1000,1000,1000,1000 with due date as equal to first lot. However, if you use constranied based planning, APS will reshdule and give you best possible time slot. Other wise, if there is enoguh capacity you are still able to produce 4 batches in first due date. The result of this behaviour depends on EDD and ECC and will vary.Make it understand this and do test case..go ahead..

Can you point me to a specific place where I can find those fields in the model or download the Oracle report files to find them for myself. We've been task with builds some WIP reports in discoverer4i (don't laugh) Anyway, We're trying to write a report on the recursive relationship on lots-batches that are re-processes for higher yeilds... A lot will be reprocessed to create a new lot but we have to track the geneology from start to finish...
Any Ideas??

Scenario of xMII integration

Can you please give a small scenario integrating SAP R/3, xMII and any MES? Basically, I want to know typically how data flow happens from R/3 to MES or vice versa through xMII.

Hi, Amalesh.
A common scenario would be to set up xMII as an IDOC listener that can receive downloads of production orders as LOIPRO IDOCs. When a new IDOC is received, xMII's business logic engine can be used to parse/processes that order. Examples might be splitting the order into production-size lots/batches, allocating it to equipment, creating batches/lots/order in MES or automation systems, and so on. xMII has a variety of connectors that can be used to talk to these plant systems.
Looking the other way, perhaps a user or an automated system collects material consumption/production information. This data can be aggregated/formatted by xMII and sent to ERP via RFC or BAPI calls to perform production confirmations, goods movements, etc.

Creating notification automatically

Dear Experts,
Can anybody tell me the way to tackle the following requirement:
Requirement-Creating notification automatically
Scenario- Currently we are creating and executing the proces orders for manufactured materials. Once the order is completed by production dept., Goods receipt is posted (Mvt-101) for process order. When the goods receipt is posted one inspection lot gets triggered with lot origin-04.
I want to create a quality notification automatically once the GR is posted. The notification should fetch the required data like inspection lot, Batch No, Order No, Batch Size etc.
Is it possible? If yes, please explain how to do this?

Hi Vivek,
Basically the notifications are to be created in case on non conformity only.
If your requirement is to fetch the information like inspection lot, Batch No, Order No, Batch Size etc; I donu2019t think you need to create a notification for this.
You can get this information readily in QA32 report itself. If anymore is required explore QALS table by passing inspection lot.

In the standard invoice IDOC INVOIC02, I don't see the field for lot# (batch). Hence you need to go for enhancement to add Z-segment in the standard IDOC.
The enhancement is LVEDF001 and the user exit is IDOC_OUTPUT_INVOICE.

QM02 - Logic Capturing Prod Ord in New Report

My client wants to develop a report wherein he will get a detail output of Notification Number, Production Order, Inspection lot, Batch etc in one report.Everything is developed and captured from VIQMEL table except Production Order.
The production order in VIQMEL u2013 FERTAUFNR is not the one that I need.
I want to know the logic behind capturing the Production order entered in QM02 while creating Notification, the type being Deviation. In the header screen of QM02 in the object list table below they select the drop down of Order and enter the production order . I need to pick up this order in my report.
Can anybody let me know the logic behind capturing this order in my report since it is stored in as structure or the where this order can be picked up.

We have ECC 6.0.
when we go to QM02 , I enter the notification number which has type as "DV - Deviation".
I enter enter any one of Material, Plant and Batch in reference object tab in the header screen.
Below there is a tab of ASSIGNED OBJECT u2013 ITEM1 which is having object category drop down as "ORDER" " Inspection Lot".
Out of this I select object category as Order and enter the production Order number "1000001".
I add new line item in the object assignment tab and enter another Prod Order and so on.
so this means I have created notification of type " Deviation- DV " for many production orders.
I need to capture this production orders in my new Lot history report.
The order where I enter order number the technical details are the table which is of category structure and i.e." QNAOS_OBJ_DATA_UI " and the field is " ORDER_NO " and not AUFNR.
The order which is in QALS is not what I need neither QMEL-AUFNR is what I need.
I hope this is clear.
