Inspire 2.1 2500 Problem

I am having a slight problem with my Inspire 2.1 2500 Speaker set:
Latley, there is this annoying static nosie that my speaker emits whenever there is sound. (connected to a pc)
I even managed to notice that while i was playing some music, the sound from the left speaker was suddenly gone for a second, then it stuttered for a few more seconds, and only then did it return to normal.
I would appreciate any advice that will help stop this problem from accuring again.

I face a similar problem with my Inspire 2.1 3300. My right speaker--well, the speaker I put in the right speaker port in the subwoofer--has shorted out recently. I've had the system for around 2-3 years, and while I expect this to happen I would like to attempt repair anyway. I checked the connections at least fourty times, and yet this speaker is functional, breaking up, or very very quiet. I've moved the speaker cord around and found I can get some signal. I'm assuming this problem is in the speaker itself, after inspecting the woofer.
Until my friend looks at it, I can't help you except agree on the situation. I'll get another post in here soon.

    Hi,
I got and Inspire 2.1 2500 speaker set from someone but there wasn't a power adapter. The specs say that it uses a 12VAC, 2.9A adapter. Does anyone know if a regular 2VAC adapter from Radio Shack will work? Lofton

  • Creative Inspire 5300 5.1 Problems - Only Two Speakers Work 100%

I recently purchased the Creative Inspire 5300 5.1 speaker system for my home computer, thinking that a low-end setup would work fine until I gathered the resources to trade them in for something better. Upon hooking them up though I find that they do not work as I was led to believe. The front two corner speakers and subwoofer work fine, just as they would if they were a 2.1 setup, however the center and back speakers make no noise. I know I have them hooked up correctly as I can go into my onboard soundcard?s setup program and test them individually, but in actually practice they do nothing. Not with games or movies that are supposedly 5.1 enabled.
I'm clueless as to what the problem may be. Is it that I need a Creative brand soundcard, that may Abit motherboard and it'ss built-in soundcard are unable to establish the proper frequencies or whatnot? Perhaps I do not have the appropriate surround sound drivers installed? Any help would be vastly appreciated.

    DevNull7,
You may need to enable certain settings within your sound card to upmix the Stereo to 5.1. Check with your sound card support for further information. They should be able to assit you on this.

  • Inspire 5.1 5200 - Problem with headphones

I have an Inspire 5.1 5200 using Turtle Beach Santa Cruz.
Recently the right channel stopped working on the headphones. I at first thought the headphones were bad but checked another set and they also would not work on right channel. Tried both sets in another device and they work okay.
All speakers and sub-woofer work when not using headphones.
Only problem is with right channel headphone output.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    JNT

I spoke with CL about the problem and they felt that it was the wired remote. The part is $9.99 + $2.99 shipping to lower 48.
I have not ordered it yet as I want to rule out other possible problems as much as possible.
    Thanks for the responses.

  • P67-gd65 / i5 2500 problem

    Hi all.
Brand new setup just in and no luck so far.
Everything new out of the box and connected up but it doesnt seem to power up somehow.
    * On first power up the APU / phase leds goes up to active 3 leds. System Fans and CPU fans work, vid card fan works.
    * Then the system just resets after a few seconds.
    * The system starts up and resets *again* within a second (it seems even less).
    * Then system tries to power up again and the APU / phase leds just goes up to 1 active led.
    * The systems seems to hang at this state, all fans blowing full, no response on monitor so bios not even reached it seems.
I guess the problem is power related but i am kinda at a loss.
    The system is :
    p67-gd65
    Intel I5 2500
    ocz PC3 10666 (3g1333LV8GK gold series 9-9-9) 2x4gig matched
    CM realpower 550 PSU
2x F3 spinpoints plus some older 36gig stat drive.
saphire 5770 or sapphire 6850 vidcard
I could not find any info yet on POST / startup problems and the system doesnt seem to give much hints ( like beeps or something =).
Any clues on what the problem is ?

Where are the days that each board has atleast some basic form of diagnostic beeps or leds..
Status Beeps should be audible as soon as a speaker is connected to the respective pins of the JFP2 pin header (see mainboard user manual).  Do you have a speaker connected to JFP2?

if the bios doesnt support the CPU's its made for.
Have a look at the BIOS chip(s) of the board.  There should be a sticker on it/them telling you the factory BIOS Version.
    What about this?

Have you tested the board outside the case on an non-conducting surface?

  • Creative Inspire T5400 Center Speaker Problem

    Hey Creative,
I use the Audigy Platimum Sound Card with Audigy drive with Inspire T5400 speakers. Ever since i got the speakers I have noticed either the center speaker plays so quiet its almost not hearable or it doesn't play at all. This happens for music alot. I checked all the hookups and I got the AudioHQ and Windows set for 5.1 surround speakers. What is the problem?
    Thanx
    Adam

    Adamb10,
You will need to enable CMSS though Playcenter for the Audigy. Launch playcenter and put it in player mode (not jukebox mode) on the right hand side there is a button that expands out the player to display a number pad. At the bottom of the numbers there is a button marked CMSS, set it to on or movie mode and it should give you what you want.

  • Inspire P580 sound system problem.

As you see from the subject, i am using inspire P580 sound system. My sound card is Realtek AC97. SO, the front right speaker stopped working :/ everything is plugged into its place and if plug that panel into another socket IT WORKS, strange. sound controls are okay. Dont know what to do. socket couldn't be broken :/ thanks in advance for help.

    ThirdFoot,
Try testing the speaker with another audio source such as portable/MP3 player.
    1. Completely disconnect the speaker cable from the sound card.
    2. Make sure the speaker cable is still securely connected to the speaker system.
    3. Connect the Line Out connector of the speaker cable (usually green and is linked to the front speaker) into the Line Out/Headphone jack of the external device.
    4. Power the device on and start playing audio.
    5. Listen and make a note if there is not any sound or if the sound is distorted in any way.
    6. Disconnect the speakers from the device and repeat steps 1-3 for Line Out 2 connector (usually black and is linked to the rear speaker) and Line Out 3 connector (usually orange and is linked to the center/sub speaker) if the speaker system has more than 2 speakers.
If everything seems to work fine in the above test, then the problem may lies in your soundcard and not the speaker.
The above test information is obtained from the Knowledgebase article SID273.

  • [VIA] MSI-7021 (KT6V-LSR) and Sempron 2500 problem.

I bought a AMD Sempron 2500 1.75ghz and a MSI-7021 KTV6-LSR, I connected the Sempron to the motherboard and powered up, well I got power to the fans, but no activity and no sounds. I plugged in the LED diagnostic kit that came with the motherboard and all 4 red lights are on, according to the manual this means either a fault with the CPU or it aint seated properly. So I reset the CPU and the same 4 red LED's came on again.  I thought it could be a PSU supply problem, so I disconnected all the hard drives and the DVD-ROM drives and still the same problem occured.  So I decided to test my old Athlon 1.2gig CPU in the motherboard and the same problem occured again, no activity and all 4 red LEDS on the diagnostic.  I also disconnected the 2 DDR memory chips.
I dont have one of those 4 pin power connectors, do I need on of these.
I tested the new Sempron in my old PC motherboard, an ASUS A7V-E and it powered up without any problems, so obviously it cannot be the new Sempron CPU that is fauly.
Can someone point me in the right direction.  I hope I have supplied enough information.

I would need the 4 pin even for a old Athlon Socket A CPU too.  Why is this exactly, does the KTV6 use more watts than a normal older mobo.
You need the 4-pin because it is part of the mainboard's design power.  That 4-pin connector exclusively supplies your processor.  No 4-pin lead = no power to the processor.
And you are better off with the Antec than the Tagan.  Tom's Hardware, based in Germany where Tagan is prevalent, has had nothing but failures from Tagan power supplies.  Most recently THG chose a Tagan for their Intel and AMD Stress Test - the Tagan died.  To be fair, the Tagan was a pre-production test unit, but the authors did make a point of saying this was not the first Tagan that has died in their lab.

  • Inspire 5.1 5200: Problem with Connectivity

Can anyone help me in connecting my portable MP3 player to the speakers Inspire 5.1 5200. Mp3 player has only one output point and speaker got three inputs. Because of this I can only have the sound of one pair of speakers i.e either front, or rear or (woofer and the center)
Also can you please guide me how to connect it to TV with only two points for audio(L+R).
I am not a hardware/electronics expert, so could you please give me a detailed help.

Hi, This is Hon Wooi from M'sia.
I got an idea for u.. You can actually buy a Y connector.
This type of connector u can easily get from Shopping center. It have male and 2 female connection. so u can use the male to go to your MP3 player and the female to accept the two stereo jack for 2 front and 2 rear speaker.
this will be the same for TV.
    Hope this info help. Thanks.

  • Inspire 5.1 5300 problems

Hey guys i've got an Inspire 5.1 5300 surround system... Ive had it for a couple of years, and i only hooked up 2 speakers and the subwoofer.Well,i changed it from my sisters computer onto my own,but the rear, center and subwoofer outputs arent working...i cant get the sub to make ANY noise,no feedback or anything. I have a creative es373 soundcard if that helps.
I also installed the soundcard from my sisters computer when mine didnt work, and that didnt work either....any advice?

I dont see how the sub wont work. It has the seperate front, rear, and center in. The sub should work with just the front in as far as i know. My SBS 450 seems to work that way... i have yet to get my inspire 5.1 working but ill find out if i happen to..

  • Inspire T7900 Startprobleme (Starting problems)

    Hallo zusammen!
    Sorry for my bad english!!!
    Hello together!
If I switch on my T7900, sometimes it occurs that it goes for approx. 3 seconds out.
Sometimes it concerns also not immediately, but turn only after repeated the Powerswitch.
These problems arise however only if the system were longer than approx. 10 hours out.
If I had it e.g. only 4 or 5 hours out, the problems do not arise.
Furthermore the problems arise also only when starting. If it a few minutes on is, there are no problems.
Which cause could the problems have?

  • Inspire 4400 4.1 problem

when i turn on the speaker, a horrible sound comes from subwoofer. Now only power input and wolume control input is connected, i disconnected the inputs and front and rear speakers output from subwoofer but same humming came again. i think my problem is volume control.
what do you think about this problem?

well .. on normal surround systems the sound is played only on the 2 front speakers (+ center) and sub (im talking about music and normal movies). to play on all the speakers you need a surround environment something like a dvd or a surround game ... to play music and normal avi movies on all the speakers you should use a stereo x2 which ports the sound from the front speakers to the back speakers... your card might not have that option ( you could use audio spliters and put all the speakers on exit). creative sound cards have a stereo x2 as far as i know..

Recently we had a power outage and once back on our phone wouldnt work and the handset constantly shows "searching" and "out of range".
We have tried switching off and on and registration but to no avail.
We only bought it in November but have no receipt etc (thought it would last!)
    Is there any help available?

Does the base station show it has power still not just the handset?
You could try de registering it 1st, then try registering again. Try to be away from other electrical equipment when you do this to minimise interference.
