Inspire 5.1 5100 electrical scheme

Hello everyone. Is there anybody here, who has got the electrical scheme of the Inspire 5.1 500? Please post the link, or use my mail box [email protected]
Thanx in advance

The Inspire 5. 500 is a speakerset, it connects to your soundcard or onboard sound. You don't have to install drivers for the speakers, but you do have to install drivers for your soundcard or soundchip.
If you have a seperate (PCI) soundcard, post up information on which model it is. If the sound is built into the motherboard, then I would advise you contact the system integrator for more information.

  • Inspire 5.1 5100 Configuration of the speaker recognized wrong by the software?

    Hello, I'm Daniel from Portugal.
3-4 years ago i was given a set of speakers Inspire5 5100 along with an Audigy sz platinum pro. I used for one year and half and they were configured correctly by the software and everything worked perfectly regarding the speakers. But i went away and stopped using my home pc for a while. know i tried to install the soundcard drivers and the software but the speakers aren?t working properly.
The software recognizes the speakers in an all mixted up way. the front gets confused by the subwoofer and other anomalies like that. I've tried the software directions a bunch of times and i've made the upgrades for the soundcard. Nothing is working properly in the speaker department. What is wrong? They got old? The software is having problems? something wrong with the sound card?
I've made the diagnosis test and i uninstalled and tried everything twice. Keeps working wrong.
Can somebody help in this? Would really be appreciated!!::robotmad:

Check that you have selected the correct speaker setup under your Sound settings/Control Panel. Based on your description, you should have a Sound Blaster on-board audio solution. If you are updating any drivers, you should be downloading them from MSI's website as these are optimized for your specific system setup.

    Hi ty Colin,
All of the cables are the ones that worked with the old computer system until they were switched to this new one. All drivers are up to date. The MSI tech gave up after an hour.
The Cinema driver only allows for a 7.1 setup but shows only a two speaker graphic. The old driver on the old machine allowed me to select the speaker configuration and even test them. The speaker selection in the driver area is greyed out. The headphone selection works just fine.
I have downloaded and installed the Cinema driver from MSI twice but with the same result. The driver says it is for the win7 64.
Is there something on the Cinema driver setup that I am missing?
    thanks

  • Creative Inspire 5.1 5100 OHM-Zahl

I have a "little" Problem with my Creative Inspire 5.1 500 Soundsystem...
I want to find out with how much Ohm the little Speakers are practised/operated...
Sorry for my bad english but im from Germany...
Perhaps someone can told me how much OHM are used...
    Thx

    Hi,
The speakers just plays whatever signal that is being fed to it. In most cases, music files are in stereo format. You will only get sound from the two front speakers. Movie files may be encoded in Dolby Digital surround etc... these tells the speakers to play in full surround.
If you have a Creative sound card, you might want to enable CMSS when you play music.

  • Apply VCCO at 3.3V before VCCINT will damage the chip?

    Hi;
I saw in the datasheet of Artix-7, the right power sequence is VCCINT, VCCBRAM, VCCAUX,  VCCO. My question is if this sequence is violated, that is, if I supply VCCO before VCCINT and other powers, will the chip be damaged?
We are developing a new PCB which has a A7-200T on it, and we found the chip was damaged, we are trouble-shooting.
    Please help!
    Donald

    Hi,
I'm facing similar (I think) problems with Artix-7. Our design has an ADC with CMOS (LVCMOS25) outputs interfacing with Artix-7 XC7A200T (FFG1156) through CMOS buffers. Our ADC is 16 bits, 130 MSPs connected to User I/O pins of the same bank. By some reason some of the user I/O pins of the FPGA that interfaces with digitized data pins of the ADC are damaged. We have produced 6 FPGA boards and 4 of them presented problems on the same pins. We have identified that:
    - The clamping diodes of the damaged user I/O pins are working well (I have measured it)
    - The FPGA configuration is correctly set for LVCMOS25 and pull-up
    - Even when setting the input voltage as logic level "0" on the damaged user i/o pins, I always read logic level 1
    - The power-up/down sequence for VCCO and VCCaux is ok and the voltage levels are well beyond 2.625 Volts during TVCCO2VCCAUX
    - All the input voltages of the user i/o pins are well within the limit of 0 Volts and 2.5 Volts. Even in the case of driving the inputs with high voltages, peak voltages driven by CMOS buffers cannot provide enough current to damage the input buffer due to the fact that the clamping diodes will protect the i/o (remember I said that the damaged pins have clamping diodes working well)
    - I have already set the damaged user I/O pins as input, output, pull-up, pull-down, different voltage levels, but they are not working and are always set to logic level "1".
    Questions:
    - Do you have a suggestion on what can cause damage to the user i/o pins considering that I have 16 identical LVCMOS25 inputs and 2 of them are by some reason being damaged?
    - Can I have access to the user i/o pin electrical scheme?
    - Can grounding problems damage user io pins?
    - Has anyone reported similar problems?

  • To ground or not to ground?

    Looking for suggestions...
I just bought an AirPort Express. Loving it. Now, I was wondering if I should get an adapter to ground it or not. I hear a lot of potential side effects of grounding the AirPort in regards to its ability to relay sound through the stereo (i.e. grounding = interference). At the same time, if I understand correctly, not grounding it leaves it vulnerable to surges and spikes in my household electrical scheme and therefore permiting it to potentially short.
Is my reasoning correct? What have others done?

Sorry, I can see nothing now on the phone...

  • Générer des impulsions

    Bonjour,

    Cordialement,
    Alexandre.

  • Help about NI 5911

I'm working with the NI 5911, and I need more information about the NI 5911, like the electrical scheme, the DSP scheme, ecc.
Someone has anything of that or can help me to find that? Thanks to all.

I know that the PGIA is controlled by the vertical range, but I want to exclude it, that is I'd like to know what vertical range has unitary gain (maybe the max range, but I'm not sure).
I'm testing the NI 5911 for a thesis job, so I'm looking for every kind of information.
I need to know if it is possible to take the signal before it is processed by the dsp, immediately at the output of the adc.
I'm looking also for an electrical scheme of the NI 5911.

    r,
    - Do you have a suggestion on what can cause damage to the user i/o pins considering that I have 16 identical LVCMOS25 inputs and 2 of them are by some reason being damaged?
My first guess is that it has been damaged by electrostatic discharge (ESD) events.
As you state, the diode is still there, and it would be unlikely to fail from ESD.  But the ESD would blow out the gate of the transistors, and then could lead to a stuck at '1'.
What about the diode from ground?  The IO transistors have both a diode to Vcco, and a diode from ground as part of their intrinsic structure.
    - Can I have access to the internal user i/o pin electrical scheme?
What are you asking for?  If you want to see the schematics, the answer is no, we do not shre that with anyone.  Have you checked the signal integritry of the IO?  Overshoot?  Undershoot?  There are absolute maximum values which need to be observed for both overshoot, and undershoot.
    - Can grounding problems damage user io pins?
Absolutely.  Any voltage, or current which exceeds the absoulte maximum values in the datasheet may lead to damage.  As you have 6 of them, all the same, I would look at the abs max limits, and your signal integrity (although it is unlikely to cause a failure so quickly, but a missing ground that allows a cable's stored charge to discharge into the IO could easily blow out the IO).
    - Has anyone reported similar problems?
ESD damage is the most common complaint we see here in the forums.  Generally, the IO are tough, and causing them to fail takes a lot of work (or a common fault like the ground of a cable is last to connect, instead of first to connect).

  • Audigy 2 ZS / Inspire 5.1 Digital 5100 + DDTS-1

    Hi,
I've read the FAQs and various other posts about the digital output on the Audigy 2 ZS, and I just wanted to check I have understood it.
I have the Inspire 500 speaker set and external decoder. From what I have read am I don't think I can connect this to the Audigy 2 via the soundcard's optical out since it needs to be connected to a digital din input, rather than a standard optical input. Is this correct?
Assuming it is, could I replace the external decoder I currently have with a DDTS-00, which does have a din input? Could I then decode DD and DTS using that, and also have 5. output when playing games? If I can do this, how would I have to connect it all up?
The other thing is that I would also want to connect the decoder to a standalone DVD player, using either digital coax or optical.
I hope I have made myself clear, its just all rather confusing!
    Thanks in advance.

Anybody any ideas? Basically I just want to replace the 500 decoder with the DDTS-00, and be able to connect to the Audigy 2 ZS and DVD player if I can.
    Cheers

  • Problem with inspire 5100 digital decoder

I have some problem with the decoder included with the Inspire 500 digital. I usually have it connected by soundblaster's audigy digital out to decoder's coaxial digital in (SPDIF). and recently sound has dissaperas replaced by a chipping and cropping low noise. Have you any ideas about it's. When I connect the soundblaser's speakers out to decoder's line in works only for stereo (losing 5.1 capabilities), and bypassing the decoder i can get 5.1 sound, but i can't use the included remote control to change volume or anything.
    Thank you.
I'm sorry for my poor english, it's not my native lenguage.

I'm not sure exactly how you're connecting things. You say you connected an optic out to a digital DIN on the receiver? These are totally different connectors.
The output on the card itself isn't optical. What you could use is a minijack to RCA (female) adapter, and then connect a standard RCA to RCA, male to male (SPDIF) cable to that, which plugs into the coaxial input on the receiver. Alternati'vely you could use a minijack to Digital DIN adapter and connect the DIN cable to that, and connect to the receiver.
Do you have the SBLi've 24-bit External? Do you mean you connected the optical output to the optical input on the receiver?
It may be best to contact Customer Support to speak to them one-on-one, to go over the connections and settings, if you're unsure of which to use.

  • Creative Inspire 5100/5300 power adapter specs needed

I have lost the power adapter of my creative 5.1 speaker system while moving house. Its an Inspire 500 or 5300. Can someone please post the specifications of the power adapter these run on, including the type of pin? Better still if you could post a photo of the power adapter (with all the writing showing) and the pin, it would be simply awesome!
Even though I'm out of warranty, I am trying to get Creative to send a replacement adapter since merchants refuse to sell spare parts, but if I have the specs I can get a compatible adapter.

  • Inspire T3000 - Speaker Wire Broke

Ok, you can laugh all you want, but I doubt this is the first time something like this has happened.
I bought my Inspire T3000's on 2/7 and I'm very pleased with them. However, my cat chewed through one of the speaker wires and I'm interested in purchasing a single T3000 speaker to replace it. How should I go about doing this? I did not find any way to purchase spare or replacement parts via the creative website, but I am sure there is a way they can accommodate me.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Okay I will not lye I did laugh lol because I know cats love to chew on our technology but if you did not want to wait for the replacement wire just fix it yourself and I will walk ya through that below.
First cut the 2 ends nice and even the peel each side of the wire back so you can peel there coating off now one will be Black and the other Red on both ends of the cut in half wire one will be positive + Red or White and the other will be Negative - Black just cut the other end of that broken wire like you did one side then match the colors togeather like a puzzle then twist the wires togeather then if you want I preferr solider but if you can't get ahold of this the electrical tape will do just tape the wires up so they can't touch eatch other and when your done they will work fine and withstand minors pulls and tags but not cats
hope this is better help to you
