Inspire 6100 5.1 - static from the front middle satellite

Speakers are new. I've just bought them and brought home to set up.
Probably should have connected them and checked right away before setting everything up.
So I connect the speakers, switch them on and... I hear static from the middle speaker.
I checked if i haven't set the volume too high. Nope. Volume settings have no effect on the volume of the buzz. Then I connected the middle speaker to different slot. No humm. Connected other speaker to the middle speaker slot - it was humming too, disconnected the subwoofer from pc - middle speaker humming.
It's not that loud. If there's any noise or sound in the room it's almost unnoticable but in silence or when I move closer to the speaker it's annoying. I wuld expect something like this from some of these 'noname' speakers you get for free with PC sets but not from Creative product ;/
Can i fix it somehow? Is it something normal I have to learn to live with or should I make a complaint?

Ok, I was able to figure out the functions that were confusing me. For my own record and for those that do not know, I will list how to create the objects necessary to add a new report to a menu.
1-Write JSP (should be written just how Oracle writes theirs)
2-Creat function for the new JSP page as System Administrator responsibility
3-Use Sys Admin to add the function to a menu somewhere
4-Using AK Developer responsibility, create an attribute with the label of the attribute being the name of your function you created. Oracle's convention is the name of the attribute has FS in it.
5-Using AK Developer, lookup the ASF_FUNC_SEC_REG region
6-Drill down into that regions attributes
7-Add a your newly created attribute to this region

Hi Donavan,
There are two options for zeroing with the NI-9237. You can perform offset nulling and shunt calibration with a strain task, or if you use custom excitation you can use software compensation.
See the Bridge Balancing, Offset Nulling section in the Load, Force, and Torque Measurements tutorial. Take a measurement before the strain is applied and subtract this from all subsequent measurements. See the above tutorial to consider the tradeoff in accuracy between these two options.

It is quite strange, of course, to have confusion with which config is being used, which is why there is now a log message telling you which config was loaded. I think that the log message was introduced in version 3.1 or 3.2.
The other thing that I do (at least when testing something) is specify the config on the command line, e.g.
java -server -Xms128m -Xmx128m -Dtangosol.coherence.cacheconfig=C:\java\dev\test-cache-config.xml -cp coherence.jar;tangosol.jar;...
BTW, I have downloaded 3.2.1 and will be using that for my tests. So presumably the warning/error will no longer occur? That is our expectation, since it would be a bug (unless you were doing one of the weird things mentioned in the message).
Keep in mind that even with the message, the Overflow Map keeps going; it is just a warning (albeit a complicated sounding one) that indicates that some internal state (or event stream or lack thereof) is not what was expected as the result of one or more actions.

Try the Parser VIs (also known as LV Mathematics VIs, or simply GMath VIs) located under the Analyze>>Mathematics palette (not in the Base package). You might want to start with the "Eval Formual Node.vi" located in the Analyze>>Mathematics>>Formula palette. There are many differences between these G-based, dynamic formula VIs and the LabVIEW formula node, but these VIs often prove quite useful when your formula changes on the fly. For more detail on the differences, see the LabVIEW Help file (Cntrl-Shift-? from within LabVIEW) under the topic "Mathematics VIs, parser differences with Formula Node".

Sorry, I don't think so. That would be pretty cool if you could create a property node for a formula node and then enter a formula on the front panel and use it to update the formula. But you can't create a property node for a formula node and the only way of modifying the formula is by typing it into the formula node on the diagram. And you can't modify a diagram of a running VI.
You could create a VI which is only a formula node with the maximum number of inputs and outputs you expect. Have a button on the calling VI to Edit Formula. When the button is pressed, use a VI server to display the front panel on the formula VI, display a dialog box telling the user how to display the diagram of the formula VI, then stop the calling VI. (You can't edit a sub-VI while t
he calling VI is running). The user will then need to rerun the calling VI to use the new formula.
You might be able to do something by calling MatLab or something like that to get an interactive formula window.

Make the app sounds come from the front speaker?

Hello,
is there any way to make the sounds from the apps come from the front speaker? When I hold the phone sideways my hands block the lateral speakers, making it quite hard to hear, so if there was a way to change the speaker the apps use, that would be great!
I'm aware I can just change the way I hold the phone, but it's kinda uncomfortable otherwise...

If by front speaker you mean the earpiece, it doesn't produce enough volume to be clearly audible unless you hold it to your ear.

Pulled paper jam from the front

HP PSC all in one printer. Had a paper jam and pulled the paper out from the front. Now get an out of paper error message even though there is paper loaded. Rollers turned the wrong way. Is there a way to reset it ?

How do I create data-driven linkbuttons whose visibility is controlled from the front end?

I've made a component based on a mx:TitleWindow that contains linkbuttons that I'm using as a context-menu.
The TitleWindow component contains link buttons like this:

This component contains a large number of links and is re-used by multiple modules in the same application.
Within each module, this component is used when a user clicks on a row in a datagrid.
The code looks like this:

As you can see, the visibility of individual linkbuttons is controlled within each module by setting boolean properties.
If I alter this component to use a renderer, how can I control the visibility of the linkbuttons from the code in each module (there are over a hundred links with different functionality - not every link will be used in each module)? Note: it is not known from the back-end which grid within which module uses which link. This is set in the front end within each module's actionscript file.
e.g., if the XML looks like this:

Put a single frame sequence structure around your stop button and then wire from the error cluster going into the error handler to the edge of the sequence structure. Now your code will stop at the end of the current iteration. To see why this works, watch you code execute with execution highlighting turned on and review the section of the manual talking about "Dataflow".

SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum - no headphone sound from the front pan

Hi all,
I had replaced my old broken Asus Mobo with the same type. After all hardware was reconnected to the new mobo I have noticed the front pannel headphone output doesnt work.
I have connected the card and the panel with the proper cable, the pannel seems to be powered OK. I even connected the card and the panel with the internal firewire cable.
The only difference is I have this time installed the drivers from the Creative website, whilst I used the bundled CD with previous installation.
Would that prevent me from hearing the sound from the headphones?
Will appreciate your suggestions,

I have the same problem as you. My system is MSI 865 PE motherboard and XP Pro SP3 with Audigy 2 ZS. I have reinstalled my system numerous times before and never had any problem, until this time....

- Format HD, install win XP, install SP3. Install Audigy 2 ZS driver and application from CD. Sound works.
- Install card's latest driver downloaded from Creative. NO SOUND!
- Device Manager shows everything ok. But control panel -> 'sound and audio devices property' has the device volume bar grayed out. Looks like system doesn?t recognize the card somehow.
- Install the latest application (organizer and other stuff), to no avail.

I tried to move the card to a different slot. After bootup, windows recognized new hardware installed, and started installing driver (I chose 'let windows auto search'). And sound came back. But if I re-install the latest driver again, the sound will go away.

I don't think moving card to a different PCI slot is an legitimate way of solving the problem, and problem still exists after the move. This has been really frustrating.

Run Vi from the front panel...

I'm trying to run a vi, but not from a run botton, and not even by the execution properties. I'd like the vi to run when i turn on same logic botton on the front panel. Is it possible? Thaks, sorry for my bad inglish. Obrigado.

It is possbile to selectively run a vi using the VI server. I guess in your case you will still need to run a main to control the logic button. Check here for more information.

I am having trouble stopping a sub VI from the front panel of my main VI.

Whenever I try to stop my sub VI from the main panel i cannot get it to work. It has entered the value of the switch from the main VI and does not update it within the sub VI after it has started the sub VI and hence does not look for a changed value on the switch. Is there any way that I can get the sub VI to check the state of the switch on the Main VI on each loop?

I am including 3 VI programs, here main vi controls the sub vi, i mean sub vi can be stopped either from main vi or from stop button put on its front panel. Also main vi still works incase sub vi is running.

GETTING STATIC FROM THE MONITORS

I have a pair of active monitors and they are going directly into my RME fireface 400. But for some reason Im getting heavy static when I turn them on. They are the only speakers going into my Fireface 400 and they are the only speakers with this issue. Heres the weird part though. I only get static in the studio, but when I take the speakers and fireface to another location using the same cables I get no static. Can anyone help?

It does not matter. Stay away from plugging anything to the wall. Each room is different, that's what my electricist said when I had my issue. Try a different room again, if it solves it, it is the room.
