Inspire 6600 stopped working...
Sound is very sketchy... If I turn the volume dial on the volume controller...it works sometimes and then cuts out. I ordered a new volume controller and it does the same thing. I checked all connections and everything seems okay..wires all look good. Was working for 2 years and all of a sudden this has happend. Do you think I should now order a new a/c adaptar? Any recommendations are appreciated. Thank you.
get a new system.
if you read my threads you will know i had the same problem with my 6700, i tried differnt remote, power supply and cables. so i can only assume its a problem witht he circut board in the sub.
i just bought a new system. if any one wants any of my 6700 for parts then pm me and ill see what i can do.

Creative Inspire 6600 Not Working Properly!
Hi
I bought my Inspire 6600 6.1 about 1 year and 3 months ago. Since recently my speakers have stopped working from time to time, for example the speakers will not work at all one day the next day it will work perfectly. The problem is that the speakers wont give any sound out, will be very low sound, high amount of static and it will jump from speaker to speaker (I Cant Explain The Problem Properly). I am really disappointed with how long these speakers lasted (How long the speakers didn?t last). It seems to be a complete waist of money because as soon as the warranty expires the speakers stop working. Now I may have to purchase a new set of speakers, one thing I will garniture you that I won't buy Creative Speakers Again. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please help!
Thank Youit seams to me that creative had had a lot of trouble with their 6.1 range, both the 6600 and the 6700 have major problems with them and this kind of thing happens. i just gave up fixing mine and bought me a set of p5800 which are fantastic, downgrading from the 6.1 to 5.1 wasnt nice but im happy with it now. honestly mate i dont think its all creative speakers that have this problem just the 6600 and the 6700.but if you are going to buy another set of creative speakers have a search for them on the forum first, see if people and if so how many people have a problem with them. that way you have a better idea.

Creative Inspire P580 stopped working.
Hi!
My P580 stopped working recently. The power supply is okay, but no sound at all. I can turn on/off the system with the remote controller, I've tried several inputs but no luck. The system is more than 2 years old and no warranty.
Thanks in advance.DGBVIPER wrote:
It decided to download at 8kb/sec and would take about 6hrs, instead of 4minutes (my onnection,2meg,250kb/sec)
So, fine. I decided to do it overnight. Woke up, and decided to extract the file, after it got to 00% I got an error message "Cannot fininsh extracting, the file is corrupt."
Fantastic! I thought my problem was going to be sorted with a simple install, apparently not.
Is it even worth trying to download the file again?
Regards,
David.
Well I can tell you that the ISO are definitely in good working condition.....not sure why you have corrupted files...... -
Speakers Inspire T3100 stopped working wire bad?
I registered my product, so company should be able to see warranty or when I purchased them. Store no longer carries product. Would like a refund.
Hi,
If you are looking for a refund, you will need to work this out with support.

2 Speakers of Inspire T7700 7.1 stopped working
Hello there!
I have a problem with my Creative Inspire T7700 7.1 soundsystem.
Two speakers, side and rear left have stopped working. Well, the speakers are okay but there is no output at those 2 female connectors in the woofer. There is just a silent noise all the time. The speakers are fine (I plugged them in an other output and they work) so the problem is that there is no signal at those two outputs.
Some days ago it worked fine. I don't know why those are broken - what are my options?bump

Inspire 5700 - Digital stopped working
I have the Inspire Digital 5700 speakers and a while ago the digital Din stopped working. I then used the analogue.
Ive just upgraded my soundcard to the Audigy 2 ZS Platinum that requires 3 analogue outputs. Unfortunately the decoder wants 2. The Digital Din still doesnt work.
To test the system, I tried inputting optical from the front box to the rear of the decoder and still no sound.
1. Do all of the digital inputs run from the same internal electronics ?
2. Can I replace my decoder with the DDTS-100 ?
3. Ive ordered the mini-jack to digital DIN cable from creative, but where can I get the mini Din to mini Din ? Creative doesnt sell this. Im in the UK
ThanksYou could contact Customer Support directly to see if they can supply you with the DIN cable.
If you're connecting from the optical output on the drivebay to the optical input on the decoder, you'll need to change settings. This knowledgebase case covers a lot of detail:

Select your card in the list, and then "Speakers with digital inputs"

Side, back, and center speaker on inspire p7800 not working, PLEASE HELP!
I have had the inspire p7800 speakers for awhile, and they worked great, the sound was really great. Then a little while ago, the side, back, and center speaker stopped working. If i turn the volume up, i can hear a kind of static noise in them, but when i play a game or listen to music they don't do anything. i have an Audigy 2 zs sound card, and i just installed all the creative mediasource software. I was using the speakers fine without the software, but i read on a different post, that you can turn on cmss in the EAX control panel. i installed all the stuff, but i can't find the EAX console anywhere on my computer. all the mediasource is is a music player, and a file converter. The speakers stopped working about a week before this, and i unplugged everything and repluged it. After that the center speaker didn't work, but the others did. but now only the front left, and front right speakers work. Please help me with this problem.

I just got the speaker system in today and was trying to set it up, I plugged all the wires in all the right places and the system would not power up. I saw the light for the wired remote flash just once. I thought it was? a power malfunction so I got a different power cord and tried it out, but still nothing...could somebody please help me. Thanks in advance.
If it doesn't power up then it's either the subwoofer or power adaptor that's faulty. So the only thing you can do is contact customer support or the vendor. -
Hey.
For some reason fluxbox has stopped working on my box. It's has been working until yesterday when I installed fbpanel, pypanel and xdm (not that I think this is related, just to point out that it was working before I started playing with openbox). X starts fine with openbox3 and probably any other wm. All I got in .xinitrc, besides from what is commented out, is exec fluxbox. Oh, I'm getting a "apps file failure" output when X fails to start, been googling some on this one without much succes. Any help is appreciated.
Regards.

Fluxbox doesn't even dump a log when doing that, however, editing .xinitrc to exec fluxbox -log path/to/log works. Here's the output

I'm installing a new image of my windows xp with sp2, but I'm having a problem.. when I try to configure my audio with inspire 6.1, with speaker calibrator, every time appears to me a error, ever, on my left front box... when I come back to my old windows, this error don?t exist...
all the drivers are updates
and the software updates too
it'ss crazy 'coz when I use the Thx?s test, it works...
any ideia ?
Edited:
well.. not works with my old windows too :/
Message Edited by viktor on 02-24-2005 01:14 AMwell..
when I try to configure my inspire 6600 with Creative Speaker Settings, I choose 6.1 configurations and ... the first box don?t make any sound (front left) ... the another is ok.
when I try the Calibration... the same error, with a difference... the box are with a differente configuration... for exemple... front left plays the sound, but plays in the center back box... when I configure the THX, the samething happnes when I try the Speaker Settings.
in windows sound setting I try 5.1... 7.1.. since windows don't have any 6.1 configuration...
I think this only happens with the new driver... -

Sound Blaster SB0100 5.1 stopped work
My , most of the time I keep the sound
turned off so dont have any idea when it stopped working, it worked before without
issues any ideas what or where to start checking, I assume their is some sort of
process of elimination process I can use.
When I turn on and off the remote volume switch I can hear the amp power up
and shut off, everything is plugged in.
Speakers are Inspire 5. 5300
Thanks in advanceTry connecting a set of headphones to the back of the card, in the line output (disconnect the speakers from that output). That'll help determine if it's the soundcard that has stopped working, or the speakers.
Go into the Mixer (should be in the System Tray, bottom right hand corner) and make sure the main volume isn't muted. If you have a keyboard with media control on it, someone may have accidentally muted the volume by pressing a mute button on that keyboard.
Make sure the card is selected correctly in Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices. It should be set as the preferred device (for both playback and recording).

[email protected]Try downloading and installing outside of the Organizer or Welcome Screen. Uninstall AIR and IB via the control panel. Then do ctrl+alt+delete and open the processes tab in task manager. Highlight any running Adobe application or process and end it. Use the link below and it will install both IB and AIR.
N.B. when using with Premiere Elements on Windows 64 bit systems, the inspiration browser needs to be installed in both locations C: Program Files/Adobe and C: Program Files (x86)/Adobe

My 5530 fall at the ground when I tried to turn it on it only showed a white blank then it turned off .when I removed the memory card it worked but when I tried to put it back my phone stopped working again any help please.
First try 3button reset:
Press and hold [Green] + [Red] + [Camera] Keys
Turn phone ON, and keep pressing it until you see the Nokia Shaking Hands Logo.
(It'll wipe phone memory/c , so consider backup first by tuning it on with out sim and memory card.)
If this doesn't work, then it may have a hardware fault, bring it to a Nokia care point and have it checked.
