If i try calibrate the 5.1 the center speaker makes sound like it was the subwoofer... any solution for this? i checked the cables and they are in the right places..

Jones

Hm, that is certainly odd......make sure the jack that goes from the subwoofer to your sound card is in the correct spot.
Not sure but you may have 3 wires going to your soundcard - refer to the user manual for the correct order.
If you are using digital - well then - I don't have a clue unless you hooked that digital cable to the wrong place on the soundcard as well.
Good luck.

I bought an iphone 5 unblocked in usa and i using it at Colombia, the speaker doesnt work so i need to know what to do

If you want warranty service, you will need to bring it or sent it to someone in the US so it can be taken to an Apple store.

  • Center speaker not working

Have just hooked up Creative SBS 560 - 5.1 speaker system. All the speakers working fine except the center speaker. I've plugged all the speakers into the center speaker jack and none of them work there. When plugged into their correct positions, they work fine. Any suggestions as to what to do to make the center speaker work. Thanks for any help.

What sound card are you using? If you are using Creative 5.1 sound card, try enabling the CMSS feature.

  • Creative Inspire T5400 Center Speaker Problem

    Hey Creative,
I use the Audigy Platimum Sound Card with Audigy drive with Inspire T5400 speakers. Ever since i got the speakers I have noticed either the center speaker plays so quiet its almost not hearable or it doesn't play at all. This happens for music alot. I checked all the hookups and I got the AudioHQ and Windows set for 5.1 surround speakers. What is the problem?
    Thanx
    Adam

    Adamb10,
You will need to enable CMSS though Playcenter for the Audigy. Launch playcenter and put it in player mode (not jukebox mode) on the right hand side there is a button that expands out the player to display a number pad. At the bottom of the numbers there is a button marked CMSS, set it to on or movie mode and it should give you what you want.

if you mean headset then try the headset in a computer or something else with the same connector to see if it's the phone or headset which is at fault

  • Center speaker not working w/ Audigy 1

So I just bought a brand new set of 5. Logitech Z-5500 Digital speakers.
I have everything plugged into correctly. The speakers into the subwoofer where they are supposed to go, the rear/front connections on the sound card and the digitial out for the center/sub connection.
I have both windows and the surround mixer settings set to 5. sound, yet it seems the audigy isn't allowing it to work for some reason.
When I do the test via my speakers control (it has it's on "test" to test the speakers, etc) it plays fine out of the center speaker when it's supposed to.
However when I do the test through the surround mixer, it doesn't work through the center speaker, it just seems to go mute when it gets to it.

i have the same problem, switching the z5500s to PLII movies or music works for most things. when i play games though, i get no sound from the center channel unless i switch to 6 channel direct mode on the z5500s, then i get center channel sound, but at the same time the rear channel sound plays at about .5x the strength of the front. its very frustrating. when i walk away from someone i hear them louder than when i am looking right at them

  • T7900 Speakers (7.1) cannot get center speaker to work

I am having a problem with my center speaker on my 7.1 system
all other speakers play fine includin the subwoofer but the center speaker makes no sound
i have set the control panel option to 'surround sound' and i have tried '7.1'.
i have tried speakers with many different medias and programs
In device manager: got 'legacy audio drivers'
got 'NVidia nForce Audio Codec Interface'
got 'nVidia nForce MCP audio processing unit'
got 'Unimodem half duplex Audio device'
default deveice is "nVidia nForce Audio"
from what i can gather the subwoofer and the center speaker are connected through the same channel but for some reason the center speaker gives no sound
if i connect the center speaker to a different port (i.e. line in ) it makes sound

If you have an nForce 2 motherboard with nForce audio it'll only support 5.1 channel output.
The T7900s come with a cable which has 3 jacks which go into your soundcard and 4 jacks which goes into the T7900s. I think you've the 4 ends which go into your speakers the wrong way around. Try connecting them differently.

  • Iphone 4s the speaker doesnt working

    my speaker is working poorly
    1. i checked everything (ringing, music, keyboars stuff)
    2. headphones are working fine
    3. first i didnt have any sound - i shake it a little bit and it start to work poorly
    4. the phone is good as new havnt fell or something like that.
i have this phone for 11 monthes - what sould i do ?
    noa

Restore the phone, first from backup, and if that doesn't work, then as new.  If that still doesn't resolve your problem, you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.

  • SB Audigy 2 (not ZS) + Inspire T7700 (1 Speaker not working)

I have just bought a the Inspire T7700 for my my normal SB Audigy 2.
I know that the normal SB Audigy 2 just supports 6.1, right?I have plugged in the subwoofer and the speakers as shown in the quick manual. Then i have connected the 3 cables in the first three holes of my SB Audigy 2. The jumper on the subwoofer is set to 6.1->7.1 I'm using Win XP Home (SP2) and already have installed the newest Audigy 2 Driver. In the the Creative Driver i have chosen 6.1 Profile and Windows has automatically choosen a 7.1 Profile in it'ss own "Sound Settings".(I have already checked, but WIndows has no own 6.1 Profile, only 7.1!)If i now start playing sound the rear left + rear right + side right speaker doesn?t work!If i change change the jumper on the subwoofer (uppest position, think that was 5.1-7.1) and now all speakers work, except one, the front right one!But if i make a "channel test" with the Creative Driver software the channels are completely mixed up.All speakers seems to be positioned wrong! So what did i do wrong? Can't i use all speakers with my normal SB Audigy 2?Is 6.1->7.1 the wrong jumper setting on the subwoofer although it should be the right one (-> manual) for my soundcard? But why do 3 speakers not work then?Hope somebody can help me.

    I have done the following:
Since all speakers seem to work, except one if i choose the uppest switch on the subwoofer (think that is "direct", right?)i decided to change the position of the three cables that connect to my SB Audigy 2, because another problem of this situation is, (as i already mentioned above) that all speakers seem to be placed wrong when doing the "Channel test"!After changing the cable?s position in the Audigy 2 quite often i suddenly found a position, where all speakers work (CMSS "on") AND at least the speakers (front right, center, front left, side left, side right)are placed correctly when doing the "Channel-test". I don't know why but if i try to calibrate the speakers in the Creative-Software and click on the speaker that i hear the sound coming from there are some speakers, that always make a noise together with another speaker. In summary, i can't calibrate all the boxes, because some always ound together with another one and some other speakers didn't even makes any noise!Doesn anyone know this problem?

  • Audigy 2 Value center speaker not working?

So I have vista ultimate x64 and logitech g51 5.1 speakers. The center channel does not work at all. It's pretty much a brand new set and swapping out the speaker does not help, so I think it is a sound card/ driver problem. The problem is in the sound test area, and is not just because I am playing 2.1 sound without CMSS. Does anyone know what is up?

it sounds to me like you have your matrix button pushed in. This button will try to make sound come out of all speakers. If it is depressed and you are testing a five to 1 sound, it will not play through the center channel. I have an old set of logitech speakers and with the matrix button pressed in, I get no center channel because it is trying to upsample stereo to all five speakers. Try that please.
    Thanks

  • Water damage speaker doesnt work for music/ videos

I was on the shower and a bit of water hit my iphone 4s specifically on the ear speaker, though it is still working ear speaker is not and cannot play music/ videos using the speaker, but I can use the speaker when talking to someone on the other line, its either that or I use and earphones.  What do I need to do?

Put it in a container with rice, close it and pray hard that the damage isn't permanent. I know someone who had a similar situation, got lucky and their phone works perfectly. I also know another person whose phone was permanently damage.
Also, remember it is never good for your phone to be in places like that, it can be damaged not just by accidental splashing but also by steam and overall humidity.  In short, iPhones and shower rooms don't mix.

  • Center console doesnt work at all

how do you fix the center button if it doesnt work

    Kelly,
    Before you just send it back as Marc has suggested, perhaps some simple troubleshooting can help;
    Have you tried resetting it?
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61705
    If that doesn't help, maybe a restore;
