Inspire t3000 left speaker port not working

My Creative 2.1 speaker system have strange problem. The left port does not respond. I interchanged the speakers so I'm sure the speakers are working fine its the port that is causing problem. Has anyone came across similar situation and able to solve it's

I've got the same problem. It's been happening to me sporadically for the last month or so. And it's always the same port- the left one. I don't think I'm using anything "high-voltage," either- just a 4G flash drive or a mouse.
Hopefully someone knows what's going on with this.

  • Laptop left Speaker audio not working

    Sir,
I have dv-5 1102 tu model laptop, in that left speaker audio not working. But, in headphones & Speakers have no problem in both left & right audio.
    Kindly do the needful

    Hey @KKVK ,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand your left speaker is not working on your dv5 notebook.
If the headphones are working it would tell us the sound card is fine. The same properties are applied to the speakers and the headphones in your audio control settings.
You could try a system restore to before the issue started to make sure it's not something in the operating system. To perform a system restore see the following guide: Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8) or Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7).
If this fails I would suggest contacting HP Phone Support to send the notebook for service. Please call our technical support at 800-474-6836. If you live outside the US/Canada Region, please click the following link to get the support number for your region: Phone Assist Worldwide.

  • HP Pavilion G6-2146sl left USB ports not working

Hi, I have an HP Pavilion G6-2146sl with Windows 7 Ultimate x64... my problem is that the two left USB ports stopped to work properly: for example, when I insert an USB flash drive it turns on but it's not recognized by Windows. The only port wich works is the one on the right of the laptop. I've tried to do a driver search, but Windows doesn't find any driver. Here's a screen of my Windows device management:

  • Back speaker port not working, front port works fine

Hey. New Mac Pro owner. Great machine. Having a bit of trouble. There's no sound coming from my speakers (typical audio port computer speakers) when plugged into the back speaker port (I tried both ports just in case). When I try, sound comes from the internal speaker. However, when I plug the speakers into the front port, sound plays fine.
I went to System Preferences > Sound, and tried setting "Play alerts and sound effects through" to Line Out, but the back port still isn't working. I also tried a headset I have, and same deal; sound through the front, not through the back. Looking for advice. I haven't tried opening the case to see if anything doesn't look right, but my experience inside computers has been with purely Windows boxes. Thanks in advance.

You need to set the default output for sound on the Sound>Output tab to Built-in line output.
I have never noticed this before because I've never used headphones with my Mac before (not directly plugged in to the Mac anyway lol), but if you are looking at the Sound>Output tab and plug headphones into the front, the top option changes from "Internal Speakers" to "Headphones". Then, of course, if you click on headphones it enables the front output..
There are more sound settings in Audio Midi Setup in the Applications/utilities folder. You probably won't need them but fyi...

  • My left speaker is not working properly, and also making a crackling sound.

I just bought this computer about a month ago and already having problems. Such as my computer shutting down on its own and now the speakers just started today. It is only the left speaker that starts cracking and then goes completely out, onlt hearing the right side speaker. This is the first time I have ever purchased an HP, and I may have to return this and go back to using Dells.

I even had this too, try to go to sounds your speaker and adjust the left and right speaker, the left speaker without the right makes a crackling sound, the right speaker is opposite of that.
If this cannot work try to go to a computer technician to fix the problem
I'm actually want to fix this through a technician, but he's the one to fix the speaker.
    Hope that's alright.

  • Left USB port only works when entering BIOS

Hi all -- I have a Toshiba Satellite C855D-S5106, the LEFT USB port only works when I enter the BIOS at boot-time. If I disconnect the drive, i.e. eject it and then remove it, the port stops working. The other two ports at the right work fine. I've tested this with known good flash drives and Kensington USB trackball that work fine on four other computers, and the other two USB ports. I'm thinking its software/BIOS because hardware would fail intermittently, I could not get the port to work if there was a failing connection. As stated, this work-around succeeds EVERY time. I have not upgraded the bios. Has anyone had this problem?

  • Iphone 5 speaker is not working

    Hi
My iphone 5 speaker is not working and I am out of 1 year warranty. I feel bad to pay for speaker again after spending 700$ on a phone that doesnt last 1.5 year. Is there anything i can do about it. I tried resetting my phone, restarting and all. I believe a lot of customers have this problem - making me believe this is manufacturing fault. I know i can pay 60 bucks to get a new speaker; but is there anything Apple can do? should I do anything at all?
    thanks
    Mc

    Hello there, mcMlast.
The following Knowledge Base article offers up some great recommendations for troubleshooting issues with no sound from the speaker on your iOS device:
iPhone: No sound or distorted sound from speaker
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts5180
Verify that the volume is set to a level you would normally be able to hear.
Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.
Make sure that the speaker and dock port aren't clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush. Carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If an audio issue occurs when using a specific application, try testing other applications to see if the issue persists.
If the iPhone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or car kit:
    Try turning off Bluetooth.
If you experience difficulties with the Bluetooth feature, follow these troubleshooting steps.
    Restart the iPhone.
If restarting doesn't fix the issue, ensure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS.
If the issue is not resolved, please  contact Apple Support.

  • Right speaker is not working in my g6 1201tx.

I have a Pavillion g6 1201tx model and my right speaker is not working at all. When I switch the all balance to the right speaker, no sound comes from the laptop and shifting it to the left one or to the centre starts giving sound again. I have tried reinstalling the drivers but to no avail.I also tried removing the batteries and putting it back and running again; its not helping.
The driver installed version is: 6.10.6341.0
    (IDT High Definition Audio CODEC)

Not unless your Dad has a knock-off or a fake 3GS it doesn't. The first generation iPhone, the 3G, and the 3GS include a single speaker. The opposite grill that appears the same is the iPhone's microphone. If your Dad's iPhone has two speakers, where is the microphone located on his iPhone?

    Hello Rick_of_Jonghap,
I understand that the speakers on your notebook computer are not working properly, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter!
To restore the audio to your notebook, I recommend following this document on No Sound from Speakers (Windows 7). This should help with the playback on your system.
In addition, you can also follow @SuperMario1's thread on Troubleshooting Guide: Audio does not Work after a Certain Period of Time. This guide should help with your notebook's audio output in regards to a recent Windows Update.
For more assistance, I will need to know:
    1. If your computer has completed all of its important Windows Updates.
    2. If you have updated your HP drivers using the HP Support Assistant.
    3. If this is an on-going, or recent issue.
    4. If plugging in headphones produce the same problem.
Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, as well as the requested information above. I look forward to your reply!
