Inspire T6060 - Aux input, how to use it

Hi all,
recently I bought the Inspire T6060 5.1 speaker set. Works great, but unfortunately, due to my onboard sound only having 3 jacks which are now all used by the T6060, I don't have a line-in anymore. Now, on the quick start guide that shipped with the speaker set, I see a reference to the so called Auxiliary Input. It appeared to me that this is what I need, but I connecting it doesn't give any sound at all. I checked volume settings, which has a slider called 'Aux', but it doesn't do what I want.
Am I mistaken, and is the Aux input something different?
By the way, the reason I'd like to have a line-in is that I want to connect the output of my second computer to the one that has the speakers connected to it. I guess my question can therefore also be translated to: how to use the speakers on 2 computers simultaneously?

...But what about if he wants to print an effect to "tape" in a session without having to bounce first. Don't get me wrong...I love Logic. I actually sold my PT rig and bought my Logic system, but Logic still hasn't added such simple things on it like having inputs come from auxes and busses. That's already old technology that my former 6 year old PT system had and it is still today so useful for producers who work with audio alot in their software.

My use case is based on Shays document, http://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/preventing_queries_when_page_f. where when my page loads i have a input box where the user enters an item code and clicks on find which is used as a bind variable in the VO. there is a table to be shown based on the result. So i have configured "#{!adfFacesContext.initialRender}" on the iterator so that the table is rendered as empty on page load. However when i enter some value in he input box and press search, my query gets executed but the table is not refreshed despite setting PPR. If i remove "#{!adfFacesContext.initialRender}" then it works properly.
Any inputs how to use it?

thought I could reproduce the issue but for me and JDeveloper 11g (11.1.2.1) your code works. All I changed was to set partialSubmit="true" to the commend button to avoid a full page refresh. I then also tried using an action listener in a managed bean to invoke the ExecuteWith params operation and also to set the viewScope property and this also worked.

Media player into Aux input on car stereo

Blackberry Pearl 8100
I would like to use the media player in my car. My car stereo has an Aux input and I use it with a removable DVD viewer, it works well. I have bought 2 x 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapters (the 2nd and 4th items here http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?menuno=13259) but neither of them work. Plugging the lead into the device doesn't divert the sound from the speakerphone or handset in the same way plugging in headphones does. If I wiggle the connectors about, it will come and go in one channel (left) of the stereo, but not in any consistent or useful way.
It has been suggested in one other thread ( http://www.blackberryforums.com.au/forums/blackberry-pearl-smartphone-discussion/1242-playing-music-... )that there could be an issue with the Aux input itself and the signal from the device is not high enough to drive the Aux but that isn't consistent with the sound levels that I get out of it when I wiggle the connectors.
I have checked the vehicle manufacturer manual for the audio unit and I can't find the impedance of the Aux imput or specification of it, but its a Sony 6CD audio unit.
Can anyone shed any light on my problem? I have tried X Player over my handsfree Parrot, but the music sounds like a phonecall (unsurprisingly :-)

the manual says "an equipment such as a portable audio player can be connected to the aux input terminal using a commercially available mini plug (3.5).
I'm almost positive that is what I bought.

How-to use Excel for the XML file input?

Following our discussion with Gerhard Steinhuber on the very nice tutorial from Horst Schaude , "How to upload mass data via XML File Input" , I am starting this new discussion.
In the comments section of this previous cited tutorial, Rufat Gadirov explains how to use a generated XML from Eclipse instead of your XSD file as your source in Excel.
However, in spite of all the instructions, I am still facing the same issue in Excel when I try to save my file as XML : "The XML maps in this workbook are not exportable".
What I try to do is to create one or more Sales Orders with multiple Items in it from a XML File Input, using excel to enter data.
The part with the File input is working (if I directly upload my file to the webDAV, it creates a sales order instance with multiple items).
The only missing part is the Excel data input that I cannot make work. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I suppose that as you have tried to construct a map from the schema, you have taken the elements from the List level down. In this case I also can't export the map.
But if you take the elements from the level MySalesOrderUploaded down, you'll get the exportable map (screenshots)

How to use the table maintenance events for validating the input entries..?

I have created a Z table with 6 fields in which all are KEY fields. All are of CHAR type. I have created the Table Maintenance Generator for the same. While maintaining the entries in the table, even though I maintain a blank entry for a field it is saving the entry. But, I don't want that way. All the fields are mandatory in my table. One should enter all the fields. Otherwise it should not allow to save the entry. So, I think it can be done using the Table Maintenance Events. can someone tell me how to use the Table Maintenance Events. and which event to use for my reuqirement and what is the logic to be written.
Or Is there any other way to solve my problem.

In the table maintenance generator, Environment --> Modifications --> Events then a screen will be appear here,we need to create the Events.In the EVENTS screen, press new Entries, there give 01(Before Saving the Data in the Database) and give a name(This will become a PERFORM), then click the Editor pushbutton, this will be there at the right side of the entry, then a popup will be appear, you can create an include program, there inside of the include program write ur code.

This event occurs before new, changed or deleted entries are written to the database. Other activities can be performed, for example:

fill hidden fields

How to use an .xsl file to transform input XML to re-formatted output XML?

Hello,
I have a .xml file from a report that I want to use a stylesheet to transform into a different .xml format.
I am reading that I can create a .xsl file to read my input and then transform it to a new output .xml file.
How do I load this into the Apps?
I tried creating a template definition and loading the .xsl in as type 'XSL-TEXT' and also, I added
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="Transform.xsl"?> to my xml data source. The output looked the same as the input.
Has anyone done this before? Any suggestions would be great!

That is not true that this is the only way. The standard Data Dictory based search help can return more than one value as long as there are multiple exporting values defined in the search help, the search help is attached to a Data Dictionary Structure, and this same data dictionary structure is used as the source of the context node. You can read more about this in the online help:

How to use PAL-N for Video Input

Is not a problem with the conection or the cables the problem is that source is PAL-N and I see the image in black and white.
Thre isn't a problem with the input of the card because with the same cables and the same connector but with a source in NTSC (a playstation) worked great
My question is if the problem with the sources in PAL-N is a limitation of the hardware or with with software and if it is workaround

yes men. there are 3 choices .a s-video,a composite and the another one i can't remeber the clear.
And excuse me. did you play "playstaion" on your pc? how can you do that. i have been try for this. but you know ps have 3 line for conect with TV. one for video, one for audio and another one i don't know how to use.
my problem is when i put my ps on my pc. there are only one socket on video card(MX460-VT) for conect video line. no socket for audio in. some body told me it's on the sounds card. but i did. there are only 3 hell. one for speaker, one for microphone the last one is "line-in" so i put the audio line(from ps) in to he line-in . but i got nothing. how can you do this? tell me please!

Why don't you sign into www.icloud.com on your computer and locate both iPad and iPhone.

Many thanks jacobsladder - your method worked first time.
My confusion was that I could not hear any tones being generated with the dialer option and being presented with a green button I originally assumed that you needed to press this to send!
