Inspiron 13 7000 series, window8.1 64 bits is going to be expired

Hey,i bought an Inspiron 13 7000 series laptop several months ago, but recently it kept saying my windows is going to be expired. I thought i have paid for a windows system when I bought the computer. Is that true? What should I do? My service # is B8T3932.

Does your system have a Windows 8.1 sticker? If you install RWEverything can you get to ACPI tables and do you see a MSDM tab?

  • HP 3210 printer to Dell Inspiron 7000 series laptop.

Will HP3210 printer effectively connect to the Dell Inspiron 7000 series laptop?
Older model printer works extremely well.  What portals/connections will be neede?
    Thanks!

The Photosmart 3210 can connect either with a USB cable or a network cable.  If you have an available port on your router the network connection may be preferred.
I have a similar setup, the printer is connected to my router with a LAN cable, I access the printer wirelessly from my notebook computer through the router.

  • Dell Inspiron 7000 series dual monitor issue

Today tried to connect Dell Inspiron 7437 to external monitor using HDMI cord; it did not work. I changed setting to external monitor only and now cannot get an image on laptop screen or external monitor when HDMI cord is connected. Tried to restart computer; still goes to blank screen as soon as I plug in HDMI.
    1. How to a return to default setting for laptop display so it's only set to laptop?
    2. Is it possible to connect inspiron 7000 to external monitor with hdmi?
    Thank you

    Hello,
Yes, it is possible to connect the Inspiron 7000 series to an external monitor using an HDMI cable.  Normally you can control how the video is displayed by using the <FN>+<F8> key combination.  Normally your options are LCD only, duplicate display on the LCD & the external monitor, or just display on the external monitor (projector mode).  Try that key combination to see if you can toggle between the available displays.
One thing you also might want to check to see is if that monitor is set to a resolution that your system cannot handle.  Here is a link to the product support pages for the Inspiron 7437, and you will find user manuals on the page that will help explain which resolutions your video card can handle.  You may need to set your monitor back to default settings (see your user manual for that monitor for details) and that should enable your system to send video to it.
Let me know if any of this helps or if you have additional questions.

  • Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series

I have an acer aspire one that has been trucking along for nearly 6 years now with almost continuous use (about a year of non-use time in there, but that's it). I use it primarily for taking notes in class and such, but it also sees a lot of programming and other use since I take it to campus each day and also on trips. In this time, I have lost almost all the feet and now screws are slowly disappearing. It also has started to have some overheating issues when the heatsink seems to shift positions slightly (it shuts off within 90 seconds when this happens). In addition, I find myself wishing quite often that it could do things like stream video properly (without jittering) and compile the kernel (it takes FOREVER on that tiny hyper threaded single core atom processor). So, I've been looking at a replacement that can get similar battery life, has a similarly sized screen (preferably touch as well because I think that would be great fun to use), more than 1Gb of RAM (I can have about 7 tabs open on chrome and then it starts having troubles since I have swap disabled), and a better processor. My most basic requirement, however, is that the laptop be able to run arch.
I've been looking at the Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series since it seems to have the best battery life of my various 11.6" options out there. The processor is a dual core Celeron which sounds old and antiquated to me, even though I believe its based on Haswell (not sure there). It also has 4Gb RAM and 500Gb hard drive. Another option, for $50 more, is a pentium processor which sounds even more antiquated, but is still based on Haswell.
    http://www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-11-31 … redir=true
My question is this: Has anyone managed to get arch working on one of these things? I also imagine that the most new-fangled component would be the touchscreen, so does anyone know the general support of those for linux?
Thanks in advance for any help.

  • 3D Programming and 7000 Series set top box

I want to watch ESPN 3D but the screens are split on my Panasonic 3D Plasma screen.  It is part of the Ultimate HD package but I have not been able to see it.  The technicians at Verizon give me a different story each time I talk to them.  One of the techs told me I need a 7000 series box to view 3D content.  Can anyone tell me if this is true or give me suggestions to make this work?  I also wonder if I need to connect the HDMI cable from the set top box directly to the tv via a 1.4 HDMI cable without going through my "non 3D capable" receiver or if a 1.3 HDMI cable will work like it does with my Playstation.  Thanks.
    Kurt

I had the same problems. This is what you need to do if you haven't tried it yet. EPSN 3D broadcasts in 720P, so you have to go to settings and change your video settings to 720P, my guess is you probably have it set to 1080i. After setting it to 720p, then set your TV 3D setting to top and bottom and it should merge the picture. I would set the setting back to 1080i when you are done with watching the channel, the movies on demand I believe are 1080i and 3D setting side by side. Hope that helps.

  • I am unable to see, access, or navigate to, the far right side of iTunes 11.3.1.2 home screen on Dell Inspiron 3000 Windows 8.1 w/64-bit Pentium Processor.

I am unable to see, access, or navigate to, the far right side of iTunes 11.3.1.2 home screen on Dell Inspiron 3000 Windows 8.1 w/64-bit Pentium Processor.

Try dragging the window away from its location, resizing it, then maximizing it.  There's been a bug since iTunes 11 that doesn't always size the window correctly if set to run maximized automatically (which I've notice most particularly on dual-screen systems).

  • Windows 7 USB 3.0 drivers for Dell inspiron 13 7000

When I got this laptop (Model P57g, Inspiron 13 7000 year 2014), I got used to windows 8.1. I frequently went on windows 7 PCs and I realized how much better Windows 7 is. So I installed it on my laptop. I have not regretted it at all.
So far the only problem is; I can't get the USB 3.0 ports to work as 3.0 ports, they work as 2.0 ports.
I have tried the following drivers:
    Can anyone help?
I am not going back to Windows 8.1, but I will go to Windows 10 when it comes out.

  • Oracle RAC and Cisco 7000 Series

Has anyone been successful with database 11.1.0.6 or 11.1.0.7 using a Cisco 7000 series router for the cache fusion interconnect.
A simple yes, if you have done so, will be very much appreciated.
We have a cluster that works with 5000 series switches and hangs with 7000 series ... trying multiple physical switches for the test.
    Thank you.

It should work properly. One correction it should be switch not router. We have used the same.

  • ATI Radeon 7000 series and Photoshop CS5 and CS6

Interesting to note, Running windows 7 64bit I have bought a new graphics card, it is an ATI Radeon HD7900 bought to run Photoshop CS5 and 6 unfortunately the graphics card is not displayed in the photoshop prefrences, I checked the list of cards supported by Adobe and the Radeon 7000 series was listed.....I rang Adobe who states that the HD7000 is not supported, so until (if ever ) it is I cannot use the full functionality of Photoshop CS5 extended. I'm not sure if all the Radeon HD cards are supported or not, but maybe check before you invest in a new card.

The Radeon 7000 series cards should work fine with both CS5 and CS6, but as Steve noted there is a problem with the current drivers for the card.  Until the 12.7 driver is released next month, I'd suggest using the following driver:
    http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalyst126beta.aspx
Use the control panel on your system to completely uninstall your current driver before installing the 12.6 beta driver.  Please let us know if the beta driver resolves the issues you're seeing.

  • Don't upgrade to Sun Storage 7000 Series 2009.04.10.2.1!

The latest release of AmberRoad firmware (Sun Storage 7000 Series 2009.04.10.2.1) leads to a performance regression. It's recommended not update at this time. See the Fishworks Documentation for more information: http://wikis.sun.com/display/FishWorks/Sun+Storage+7000+Series+Software+Updates

The last two releases (2009.Q2.2.1 and 2009.Q2.2.0) of the AR firmware show poor iSCSI performance.
I therefor recommend to use release 2009.Q2.1.1.

  • Host based zfs config with Oracle's Unified Storage 7000 series

    Hi all,
It is my understanding that the 7000 storage displays a FC or ISCSI lun to the host. I understand this LUN is a ZFS lun in the 7000 storage, however the host still sees this as only one LUN. If I configure a host based ZFS storage device on top of this LUN I have no host based zfs redundancy. So do we still need to create a host based ZFS mirror or a host based ZFS raidz device when use a 7000 series storage array?
    Thanks,
    Shawn

Many thanks - telling ESX to connect to the 7310's IP address on one of the other subnets DOES appear to work!
My brain must still be addled from some other recent issues we've been having...absolutely no idea why I hadn't tried it already...
I stand by the fact that the BUI is ambigious, however - it still mentions that it's exported on only one of the networks...
    Thanks again...

Will I find the"Previous ITunes Library Folder" in the 10.3 download...All cd/dvd backups are from my collection of cds....
No. Your iTunes library folder (normally inside User's Music) will contain your main iTunes Library.itl database file and, if you've updated iTunes at some point, a collection of archived .itl files made during some of those updates is placed in a subfolder called Previous iTunes Libraries.
Ah, perhaps I have misunderstood. Do you mean that you are trying to restore a set of iTunes backup CDs/DVDs made with an earlier version of iTunes or that you want to backup the library that you have now?
I may be wrong, but I thought the current version of iTunes retains the ability to unpack a backup set made with an older version of iTunes. Having never relied on the feature I don't have much experience with it. If you're trying to backup your library now a folder cloning tool such as described in this backup tip is a better way to go.

  • Fan Issues with DV6-7000 series (probably with DV7-7000 series too)

So I've installed Arch on my brand new laptop, and I'm unable to change the fan speed. The fan does run, but on the lowest possible setting, which means the laptop gets very hot.
