instagram notification doesn't go away automatically on status bar even if i open the app through tthe notification.
it was on going on ios6, and is till going on in ios 7.
does anyone have fix for this?

It was working smoothly before, but after sometime, I realized that the Notifications of my twitter, facebook and instag acct doesn't show up anymore.
I already Uninstall the apps then turned off my phone and install again. Check the Settings but still it didn't work. Did a lot of possible things but nothing has change, Anyone knows about this?

AUTO-SOLVED
I write it so it can be useful to others.
- Logged out from FB App, FB Messenger and FB integration, deleting all past information from contact sync.
- Delete FB and FB Messenger apps
- Rebooted device.
- Restarted FB integration, re-installed both FB App and FB Messenger.
NOW IT WORKS (even on my Macbook where it stopped working too)
My trouble was that Facebook was disappeared from Notifications in Settings, with this procedure it should go back working.

Mail notification doesn't go away after opening mail

In the Mail app, after opening an email and going back to the Inbox folder, the "unread" notification is still there, I have to open the email again to make it go away.
Is anybody else experiencing this too?
Is this a bug?

No not a bug, I only experience this with my Yahoo account. Most of the time its due to my wifi or cellular data connection.
But I also believe it is due to the yahoo email account.

"See how to get instant updates on your phone" Doesn't go away. Help?

In the Facebook app when I click on the notifications it says "See how to get instant updates on your phone" at the top. It doesn't go away from the top unless I enable push notifications for it. However, i don't want that. Help?

There are 3 ways to exit a fullscreen app:
Escape key
Command+Control+F
Hover the cursor at the top of the screen until the menu bar drops down then clcik the Arrow icon on the top right.
Have you tried plugging it back into the TV?

Microsoft doesn't nothing to do with this issue. The PopUp message comes from (it is created by) Skype itself. Same way others software do on that Taskbar area.They are independent from Operative System.
However, windows do the same as well, of course, and we might confuse this, thinking Microsoft do it all. It is really really really really important to fix this, it is very annoying to click everytime a number of message appear down there when you are busy in something else, and might be someone chatting to you and you don't need to answer right away, and you just want to see what they are txting you.Many times your contacts want to txt you about something and they go long run doing 1 way conversation and they don't need an answer, sending several lines about the same conversacion. Then, IF you want to reply them, ok... you maximize Skype and answer them back. It should be working as old messengers software always did. Very useful. If not, I only use when i want to videochat w/someone.

Pause button on Crackle App doesn't go away on Toshiba Thrive

While attempting to watch a video on the Crackle App using the Toshiba Thrive, the pause button in the middle of the screen doesn't go away. This started to occur after the tablet automatically downloaded the latest version of Crackle. My tablet is still running the latest 3.2 version of Honeycomb. I contacted Toshiba Customer Support thinking perhaps that I need to upgrade the tablet to ICS to solve this problem, but according to them, there is no upgrade currently available for this tablet which is an AT105, 8GB tablet. Service station is empty and indicates no updates available when I try to update. Customer Service couldn't help me with the Crackle App problem. Is this a common problem with the Thrive? Should I upgrade to ICS with this tablet if it becomes available? I heard there were initially many problems with ICS running on the Thrive. Perhaps it would be better to leave the OS as is? Does anyone know if it's possible to downgrade the Crackle app? Any thoughts?

I don't have any third party keyboard apps. I may try reseting as a last resort. I don't want to lose any settings I have unless it is necessary. Is this a cure, or only a temporary fix? Doc9 has given me a way to dismiss the keyboard at least which is as he says, the search one, not the regular one.
Appreciate the suggestions. I'm using the keyboard now, so I may find out soon if the dismissal thing was good for more than one round of this.

This isn't an issue. Notice the screen prior to the one that shows usage has an iCloud section and a Manage Storage button. For this button to activate ios needs to download a few kb from icloud. Switching back to this screen forces ios to download those few kb.

Windows 7 PC's doesn't show up in Finder
I know there are probably a lot of threads about this already but the ones I have read haven't helped me with my problem yet.
The problem I am facing is that my Windows 7 PC's doesn't show up automatically in Finder.
What works:
1. I can see all of the computers (Mac and Windows) on the network on my Windows machines, if I look under Network in Windows.
2. I can see my Mac computers in Finder under Shared
3. I can CMD+K connect to all of the computers on the network using SMB, both with entering the name of the computer or the IP
4. I can ping all of the IP's on the network
What doesn't work:
1. Windows 7 machines doesn't show up automatically in Finder
2. I can't ping hostnames in Network Utility, can only ping IP's - it says cannot resolve hostname
What I have tried:
1. Turned on SMB sharing on OSX
2. Edited /private/etc/hosts to include Windows PC's
3. Turned off all firewalls on Windows, OSX and Router
4. Installed Bonjour on Windows machines
5. A bunch of other things...
Theories:
1. The best theory I can come up with is that OSX is having trouble with NETBIOS and that's why the Windows computers aren't showing up in OSX but I can still see the OSX computers in Windows 7. And the reason why I can see the other Macs in OSX is that they use something other than NETBIOS to broadcast their existence on the network.
2. The Gods are against me...
It should be said that I had it work for a very short while, but then i changed something and couldn't reverse it.
I hope someone can help me find the little thing I am missing to get this thing to work.

When I'm at my home, and on my Wifi, my 4G icon on my LG G2 is still present. No big deal. If the bits can flow via WiFi, that's what they'll do.
You might try (if you really MUST shut off the cellular radio):
Settings, Network Connections and More networks. Select Mobile Networks and uncheck Mobile data and data roaming.
Not sure if that will work - but give it a try.

Human task notification doesn't permits I18N?

Hi Gurus,
I'm using the OIM 11g and Jdev 11.1.1.4.
I did a ResourceBundle to translate my messages at notification into Human Task.
The title is translated, but the message( Notification) doesn't get the key to show.
I put this code <%hwf:getTaskResourceBundleString(/task:task/task:payload/task:RequestID,'HEADER', 'es')%> at title, and the title is showed ok.
But i puted this code at notification header and the message is empty.
What's Wrong?

10.0.01 ver. doesn't sign-in automatically i look up password manager, it seems it saves usernames and passwords, when i visit websites i am not automatically signed in and when i reopen mozilla it keeps on asking main password to sign-in all the time.

mozilla fills user name when i click but after that it asks for main password (whats the purpose of remembering passwords if it will ask for main password)
by the way main password for password manager is of course useful but it şs useful whenever i want to use it not all the time i open mozilla .
and not all the time i open a website or forum which i often use...
there were no problems before it updated itself...

my problem is not related with using main password or not...
in former versions of firefox i was automatically signed in to websites without any click... it wasnt asking me to sign-in (because my usernames and passwords were remembered-and saved in password manager)
in this version they are remembered again but i have to write first 2-3 letters of my username and it remembers my username then it remembers password...
for example when i clicked twitter.com my account and my homepage as automatically opened, but in this version when i click twitter.com it opens the sign-in page and i write first 2 letters of my user name it remembers name and password and then i signin
(difference i was at where i want to sign in with one click--- but in new version 1click for webpage-1 click for clicking to username are-1-2 letter writing to find my user name-1 click to remember password-1 click to sign in) an addition: also if i am using main password i am entering main password and click to sign-in
This can be little problem to u, but it is really annoying problem, 9-10 clicks more for each webpage which i wanted mozilla to remember my usernames and passwords... it also asks main password if i am using...
if i want to visit 5-6 different websites it means 70-80 clicks more and 50-60 letters typing according to your main password .. (in opera and mozillas former versions it is just 5-6 clicks)
so main problem is the cookies were remembered in all the sessions but after it updated to v.10.0.1 expiry date of cookies of same websites that i visit are just for one session... it is not related with the websites and their servers that i visit because if so how can Opera remembers all the time...
