Install Acrobat XI, but the licence screen is blank & wont click accept

Just install Acrobat XI from my cloud account, and all installed ok, but when i try to start it, it comes up with a licence agreement screen, which is blank.
I cant click on accept as its doesnt work, only cancel which then closes software.
On mac, OS 10.8.5

It is a problem on Apple's end. If you look around the forum, ther must be a dozen or more discussions going on about it and users were posting the same problem all day today.

If you are getting the blank app update screen, many people are having this problem over the last couple of days.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then.

TS1702 My App Store shows that I have 9 available updates, but the update screen remains blank. My ios is up to date, I have an active connection and can access every other section of the store.

Folks can wait it out or I understand if you go to purchased and your list of apps you will see a little update banner on the ones that need to be updated. YOu can then download them manually.

What happened yesterday may have been caused by the SOPA protest action that was joined by a lot of sites yesterday and such an action won't happen that often.

There are a number of other threads from people reporting a problem with a blank Updates tab in the App Store app - it looks like there is a problem at Apple's end which they need to fix.
Some posts are suggesting that you if you go into the Purchased tab in the App Store app you might be able to update the apps from there, though you will need to scroll through the list to find those with updates and individually update them.

It's highly unlikely that the Pages update problem has anything to do with the ARD client update, since the client is not involved in any way with Software Update. I'd suggest asking for assistance with the update problem in the forum appropriate for your version of Mac OS X.

Hi, a too full hard drive can really mess things up.
Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, , try to clear at least 10 GB of space & empty the trash, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

Please try the following:
The path listed below points to the Library folder at the root of your startup disk, not the Library folder in your user home folder.
Delete all the files from following folders:
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SL Store/
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SL cache/
And, delete all files from following folder except cache.db
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD/
Then launch Acrobat, Accept EULA and enter the serial number again and check.

I don't have back-up and so restarted to install MAC again. Can i cancel this now. I want my data to be secure. What should i do?

If you cancel an install there's no telling what state it will leave your Mac in. Let it finish or fail.
Then get a disk, it can even be a pocket drive if it's large enough and back up all your own data.
After that, boot up holding command-r keys into your Recovery Volume.
The screen should give you these choices...
Restore from TM backup
Reinstall Mac OS X
Get help online
Disk Utility
First run Disk Utility Repair Disk, if you get errors run until no errors reported or reports "the disk cannot be fixed". Then, choose Reinstall OS X.

After installing, reboot your Mac and relaunch Safari, then in Safari Preferences/Security enable ‘Allow Plugins’.

THe message is misleading. Save the file to your desktop, even though all you see is the message. Then, open the saved file in Reader.
