Install Adobe Premier Elements 9 results in Windows Installer window pop up

Installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 fine. When installing Adobe Premier Elements 9, the installation fails during 'Configuring Windows Installer' and a pop up window appears with the title 'Windows Installer'. What do I need to do to get this software installed?

You need at least 30GB (or better, 60GB) free defragmented space for PRE9 to work. Do you have this? You may have been on the borderline during install and your first project, so when you rendered your project, or restarted the machine, (possibly Windows creating a system restore point) your free space dropped below the limit.
Can you also confirm that you didn't install any new software between the saving and opening of your project.
Here are some general points you should work through to maximise your chances of success
Install all Windows Updates.
Install latest version of Apple QuickTime (v7.6.8 at time of writing). Even if you don't use QuickTime, PRE relies heavily on it.
Install most recent graphics and sound drivers from the manufacturers web sites.
Run Disk Cleanup.
Run Defragmenter.
Temporarily disable any anti-virus realtime scanning.
And give us some information about your clip and hardware:
Use the GSpot Codec Information Utility to analyse the file and post screen image.
What project preset did you use?
Where did the clip come from?
How did you get it into PRE?

Install Adobe Premiera Elements 4.0

I have installed a new C-disk (SSD-disk) and now when I am about to install Adobe Premiere Elements 4 from the original CD, there are only two options; repair and unistall. What has happened? There is nothing to repair and nothing to uninstall. When I choose "repair", I am asked to insert disk 1 but the one and only disk is already inserted.

Curiosity leads me to ask "If you were only getting the repair and install options when you were trying to install from the version 4 installation disc, does it follow that you already had Premiere Elements 4 installed on this computer?"

Trying to install adobe premier elements 12 on windows 8 computer. New computer doesnt have CD rom drive

I'm having a bit of a problem. A few months ago, I purchased Adobe Premiere and today i decided to get a new computer to help me edit videos faster. Now I'm trying to add the old software to my new computer so that I can use it. Unfortunately, the computer that I have now doesn't have a CD Rom drive and since they've already updated the software to the new elements 13, I cant seem to find the link to re-install Elements 12. I NEED HELP ASAP. My first real gig is tomorrow. Thank you all for the help!

If you purchased Premiere Elements 12 from Adobe direct as an online download purchase, then you go to the adobe web site (http://www.adobe.com)
sign in, put "My Orders" in the Search field, and then follow the "My Orders" link to your program order where you should find an opportunity to download new files.
Alternatively, you can go to the following web site, download and install the Premiere Elements 12 tryout, and insert your purchased serial number into those files during installation.

You need to read and carry out carefully the Note: Very Important Instructions at that web site so that you do not run into Access Denied messages.

Unable to install Adobe premier elements 9 on new computer

I received Adobe Photo Element 9 and Premier 9 some time but my old computer did not have the capacity to load it. I have a new computer and cannot load the software. How can I load it (from the CDs included with the package) to my new computer. It is a Windows 8 system with an Core I5 processor?

Firstly, you should have installed PRE along with PSE in the first go itself, then everything would have been smooth. If you deferred the decision, then also there was no need to uninstall PSE per se. What could have been done is go to the installer media, browse to the "PRETrial" folder and then click on the Setup.exe of PRE installer to install PRE and at the serial number screen just choose the option to install in trial mode.
Now, the error you are getting is strange. When I search over web, I found this mentioned for Error 2755:
This error may occur if there are insufficient privileges on the %windir%\Installer folder, or the inability of the Windows Installer service to create the %windir%\Installer folder.
NOTE: This behavior can also occur if you have only Read permissions to the Winnt folder. This condition prevents the Installer folder from being created by Setup.
Can you please check that?

Trouble Installing Adobe Premier Elements from Disc

I am trying to Install the new Photoshop Elements 10 and Premier Elements 10 on my Mac OS. The Elements 10 loaded, but I keep recieving an error message when installing Premier Elements. This is what I receive: Any ideas as to what the problem is?

I cannot get adobe premier elements 12 to work on windows 8.1

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and the initial window comes up...when i click on video editor then new project or even open existing project it just spins and spins and finally stops but never opens. worked fine at the end of last school year. this year i cannot do any projects on it...any one else? solutions?

a. Premiere Elements needs to be run on your computer from a User Account with Administrative Privileges. QuickTime (latest version) is
a requirement for Premiere Elements, and both require being used from a User Account with Administrative Privileges.
I do have administrative priveledges on that particular computer. I have also checked that QuickTime is installed.
b. Your school district computer probably has security means (antivirus, firewall(s), special protection programs) which are interfering
with Premiere Elements accessing needed files.
This could be an issue; however, Adobe Elements 12 ran just perfectly all last year. It was not until I started this year that it was giving me issues. Even before we upgraded to 8.1, it was not working at the beginning of this year. Again, though, it worked just fine on our system from January until May.
Do you have an IT specialist who maintains your school network? If so, would it be possible for you to consult with that person to
evaluate "a" and "b"?
I will have my IT guy continue to pursue the problems. I have spent hours and followed every little suggestion and link...sigh...all of the step by steps that were provided were excellently done, they just didn't solve any of the problems. thanks!

Install Adobe Premier Elements 10 - failed

I am truly exhausted trying to install Premier on my MAC. I've restarted 3 times and still only get to 51% finished and then receive error message about "Payload canot be installed due to dependent operations failure". I have no idea what that is suppose to mean.

I have installed Adobe Premier Elements 11 Trial version, can't find program

I have downloaded this multiple times through the Download Assistant, the program does not then automatically install, but I went to the folder where I had directed the download and double clicked on the Setup file. Then the installation process happened and I got the message at the end saying my installation is complete. No icon shows up on my desktop and I cannot locate the program anywhere. I even tried uninstalling the Download Assistant, re-installing it and re-downloading and re-installing. Still nothing. Any suggestions?

I've installed Adobe Premier Elements onto my laptop but it's way to slow.

As the tytle states, My laptop is too old and slow and the program takes for-ever to do anything! Can I un-install it and then re-install it on another computer?

If you registered the software it should be available via your Adobe account online.
I do not know if there is any other way to get the serial number, but you could try contacting Adobe Support and see if they can assist you with activation (I don't think they can give you the number, but they can help activate it anyways based on what I read in a posting yesterday.

Adobe Premier Element 8 installation problem

We recently upgraded our computer from Windows Vista 32-bit to Windows 7 64-bit. In order to do this we had to reinstall the whole OS and we lost all of our applications. We have a license for Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 and Adobe Premiere Elements 8. We were successful at installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 8, but when we tried to install the Adobe Premiere Elements 8, it gave us the following error: "Either Adobe Premiere Elements 8.0 is not installed on the system or has corrupted. So please install Adobe Premier Elements 8.0 and then retry.". It appears as though the installer thinks it should be performing an upgade. Any ideas?

Could be a simple compatibility issue. not sure if PSE/PPE 8 is even qualified for Win 7. Try to run the installer in one of the compatibility modes.

I was trying to install Adobe Premiere Elements 10 but the installation would stop abruptly somewhere half way through and the disk would pop out. I got the serial nuimber therough the web.
What could be the issue here?

3. Does problem exist with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
4. Even though the Premiere Elements 12 Editor will not open, can you open the Elements Organizer 12?

Im trying to install Adobe Premiere Elements on Window 8. The Windows Installer is not working.. some window pops up with an error message and it does not install

I get the following window pop up after trying to install Adobe Premiere Elements. After it prompts me to select the language i get this:

I think I figued it out... But why installations instructions didn't come up when I inserted the disk was very annoying. And because they didn't, Adobe should post th installations instructions somewhere on their support site. Not here now, which is also annoying.
