Install Adobe Standard update software on a new computer

I originally purchased Adobe 8 Standard. Last year I upgraded to XI Standard. I have a new conputer and I can't install the XI upgrade without installing 8 Standard. I can't find a way to download 8 Standard. Can I still get Acrobat 8 standard somewhere?

but you should not need to install it. you should be prompted for you acrobat 8 license number when installing the XI upgrade.

I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 in my computer before. Right now I'm not using that computer anymore and want to re-install the software to a new computer. I still have the redemption code but when I entered it, the software said it was redeemed by another ID before. Can you please provide me the download link or which ever way I can re-install the software to the new computer? Thank you.

The serial number that you received the first time you used the redemption code is what you need to complete this. If you did not keep a record of it then you might be able to find it in your Adobe account online if you registered the software. If not, I don't know what can be done since you probably didn't purchase it thru Adobe and they will not have any form of proof of purchase.

Installing an existing CS5 software on a new computer, without CD drive

I am going to install ps5 on a new computer, but it is no CD drive on the new. I was thinking to download CS5 from Adobe, but I cannot find it. Anyone who knows how to do it?

Please download both files, Navigate to the directory where you saved the installation files and double-click the .exe(file1), this would extract the Ps CS5 installation files.
After the files finish extracting, the installer launches automatically. If it doesn’t, go to the folder that contains the extracted files. Double-click Set-up.exe to begin installation.
Follow the onscreen instructions to install
When prompted for a serial number, enter your serial number and complete the installation.
Follow the instructions mentioned carefully.

Trying to update software & sync on new computer

i have ipod touch which was originally synced on computer at home, which is now defunct. I wish to sync with work computer which already had music mp3s stored on it. i have downloaded itunes onto my work computer and connected ipod. i wish to update the software from 3.1.3 to 4.2 but get a message saying there are items that need adding to your library and i should transfere before updating, if i ask it to comtinue it says all media will be deleted from this ipod.
if i try to sync my music it tells me that all existing tracks on my ipod will be replaced by music in my library.
in short i cant update without a sync, and i cant sync without losing all my music on the ipod.
any ideas, many thanks. PS im not a tekkie im a grandad so plain speak please.

I'm having a bit of a problem. A few months ago, I purchased Adobe Premiere and today i decided to get a new computer to help me edit videos faster. Now I'm trying to add the old software to my new computer so that I can use it. Unfortunately, the computer that I have now doesn't have a CD Rom drive and since they've already updated the software to the new elements 13, I cant seem to find the link to re-install Elements 12. I NEED HELP ASAP. My first real gig is tomorrow. Thank you all for the help!

If you purchased Premiere Elements 12 from Adobe direct as an online download purchase, then you go to the adobe web site (http://www.adobe.com)
sign in, put "My Orders" in the Search field, and then follow the "My Orders" link to your program order where you should find an opportunity to download new files.
Alternatively, you can go to the following web site, download and install the Premiere Elements 12 tryout, and insert your purchased serial number into those files during installation.

You need to read and carry out carefully the Note: Very Important Instructions at that web site so that you do not run into Access Denied messages.

i have the adobe standard 9 software - purchased it in a store. I changed PC's and need to install the software on my new computer but don't have the CD anymore, although i have the serial number.

On the other hand I see only the Pro version for download; not sure if you can use the Std serial number with the Pro version.

There is no need to and you should not transfer Adobe applications between machines anyways because it doesn't work. Just install the Creative Cloud applications the same way you did originally on the old machine. You are allowed to have two working installations, so if you would like a backup available there is no need to remove the applications from the original machine.
