Install app through ITunes on IPad

I have created an .IPA File for my app and before deployment i want to test it on my IPad device. So through ITunes i followed the procedure of installing app. The app size is just 4.25 MB but its grayed out on IPad and show installing... on the device for the last 30 minutes. I think its not working.
I am using IPad Mini with ITunes for windows

Are the apps compatible with your model iPod and its iOS?
Do you have and Restrictions set that would prevent installing that app? Settings>General>Restrictions

Can't install or update apps through iTunes

Seems I can't install or update apps through iTunes. It keeps giving me error messages. I the only way I can get around this is updating through the App Store app on iPod touch. I think this problem started since updating to Lion.

Sounds like you have auto app down load enabled. Which is by default if I recall.
Settings---> iTunes & App Store---> Auto App Download.

A PDF is a PDF. If it is an app then it isn't a PDF unless it is an app that is supposed to install the PDF somewhere in which case I wouldn't trust it. From where did this originate? If it is some unknown web site there are plenty with fake links that say you are downloading one thing but they send you another in hope that you will blindly install some malware. Usually they target Windows users but there's getting to be some for Mac (in particular MacKeeper).

3. Click the View tab.

I want to install apps from itunes to my ipod and manage them manually but there is only one option to do that replaces my apps on ipod with apps in my itunes library . Is there any way to install the apps without replacing them??

Ipod touch will sync with one computer at a time. If you sync to another then it will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer.

Installing Apps from Itunes to Iphone.,....

Hi all,
I cannot seem to find how to install Apps from itunes to my iphone. I needed a new iphone, and when i got it the songs installed and sync'd fine.
The Apps however did not.
You cannot drag and drop the Apps from the Itunes store to the iphone. Syning them doesn't send them across. I have updated them all within itunes to the latest versions.
So someone please put me out of my misery and let me know how you can do it?!

Select your phone in the left column, under devices. Select "Applications" at the top of the main window.
The list will appear below with a check box to select the apps you want synced. When your selections are complete, click the "Apply" button at the bottom right of the window.

Update apps through iTunes

I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 5. My iPhone shows that there are updates for two of my apps. When I select Store > Check for Available Downloads in iTunes I get a message that says "All purchases have been downloaded for this account." How can I update the apps through iTunes?

Hi Try a Reboot press power & menu button hold both down until you see the Apple Logo you will not lose any data But you me need to do this more than once. Cheers Brian

I can't add/remove apps through iTunes.

I wanted to sync my apps with iTunes, as I haven't got the iTunes app on my iPhone (don't know how I did that either lol) and I also wanted it for some other stuff. Now the box 'Sync Apps' is unchecked, and when I check it iTunes warns me that every app and content of that app will be removed and replaced by the apps in the iTunes library.. I'm really not that keen on losing data in Whatsapp for instance, as my memory depends on that app, lol.
Anyway, is there any possibility that I can add/remove apps through iTunes without losing data on my iphone? Maybe by making some sort of backup?
I really hope there's someone with an answer to this one, as I'm really out of ideas to solve this.

Guess what I didn't lose any data, not even in for instance games like Coin Dozer or Whatsapp or anything! I don't know how, but it's true! I didn't even have to re-login Wordfeud! Hurray!

When you download & install apps through wifi...

be careful. don't use other function during installation. entire process is very slow, eats battery life a lot. so be patient until it is finished. if you ignore it, you will be in trouble. when you ignore, and reset because process is very slow, major symptom is you can't get out of apple logo. only it works, reprocess when you connect with itunes. at this point, you will see touch or iphone on itunes after a long time. even when you hear sound, when you hook up with itunes, screen shows still apple logo. don't panic. just wait. that's why I suggest that you download apps through itunes instead of wifi store until Apple will fix bugs.
