Install apps to Ipad with another Itunes account

When I bought my Ipad 2, the guys from the store installed for me some apps & games (both paid & free) with their accounts on their PC. They warned me not to sync the ipad with the Itunes on my own PC because it would delete all the apps they installed for me. Also, they said if I want to install any new app, I can only do it locally on my ipad, not through Itunes on my PC. Is there anyway to bypass this without deleting their apps?

Apps (and other content from Apple) are tied to the id that originally bought/downloaded them and they can't be copied or transferred to a different account - you will be better off deleting those apps and games and if they are any good buying/downloading your own copies of them.

Sure. No problem.
Be aware that ALL purchases are permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was used to originally obtain them. Apps can not be updated without knowledge of that ID and, more importantly, its password. Apple IDs can not be merged and purchases can not be transferred from one ID to another.
Minor nuisance if you choose to update apps from inside the computer's iTunes. If you're logged into the "wrong" account, it's necessary to log out/in to do the update. It's easier if you update from the iPod itself. No need to log out/in but you do need to know the password for the ID.

My partner has a works iPad, which has her works Apps on (ones that are specifically made by her company and are NOT available in the App store).
What I want to be able to do is to ALSO have my itunes account on there so that I can put all the apps I have purchased previously from my iPhone on it.
This is so I can put on VLC player (thats already in my itunes account) so I can add videos to the iPad.
How do I do this please?
I tried it before by connecting it to my mac, but it wiped everything off the iPad completely and also deleted the data settings for using 3G.
So I want to avoid this happening again the future as it had to be sent back to her head office to be sorted again.
Any advise please?

You can't. The iPad is desgined to be a 'one user' device and only really works with one apple ID at a time.
The only way would be if she, at work and with her work apple id, downloaded your apps (repurchasing them of course).
It's not meant to be a multiple user/multiple ID device.

You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.
it basically says you have to erase your iphone to sync to a new itunes!
Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content.

If you copied everything from your old computer to your new one, as you should always do, then the content will be put right back when you sync.

I am trying to understand the iTunes implementation on iPad..After synching my MBP on an iPad, all of my settings music, photos,mail are transferred to the iPad...my wife now wants to use the iPad as we are traveling...can my iPad's iTunes be signed off and her iTunes account be logged on thus she can access all her data stored on her iTunes account? I have spent a lot of time investigating this on the forum and I do not understand what can and not can be done...If this can not be done, then if any iBooks we want read (different books for me/wife) then needs to be purchased and read on the one iPad needs to be bought on only MY account which is synched to my MBP... ? The iPad is not set up to allow different users with different data.
All users have the same data.

iTunes library = everything in iTunes when she logs in with her computer login

If you mean she want to sync the ipad with her iTunes library, yes.
She will need to login to her computer account, connect the iPad, launch iTunes then sync it.
This will erase all your data on the iPad and sync all her data.
If you mean can she access iTunes store account, launch iTunes on the iPad, scroll to the bottom and tap Sign out iTunes then sign back in with her iTunes account.
This will not add anything of hers to the iPad but she can make purchases with her iTunes account.

I am trying to load the same exact information from ONE iTunes account to multiple iPads (4-6). I was able to sync the app and information I needed to ONE but when I try plugging any of the other iPads into my computer NOTHING happens. OK, so me and my boyfriend are using the same ITUNES account on the same laptop. He has an IPAD and Phone me just a phone. we are happy to share the same music but we now have each others contacts... can someone advise how we can keep our personal details seperate.

Create differnt computer login for your bf. You caneach use the same iTunes library but sync different data (including different contacts, calendar, music, movies, etc.)
Move the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder to Users/Public/Music/
Hold Shift, launch iTunes, select Choose library... and select /Users/Public/Music/iTunes/ folder.
Now quit iTunes.
Create a new computer login for your bf and log into this user.
Add his calendars, contacts, etc. to this login.
This will keep all your contacts, calendars and other data separate.
Now hold Shift, launch iTunes, select Choose library... and select /Users/Public/Music/iTunes/ folder.
Select the iPhone/iPad and click the tabs across top to select what to sync to his devices.
