Install Authorware in Safari 4?

I'm running Safari 4.0.3 on Mac OS 10.5.8 and have been unable to install Authorware. Has anyone gotten this to work?
It works fine in Firefox 3.5.3.

Hi - I have the same problem - I run Safari on Snow Leopard and Authorware DOES NOT WORK on Safari - perhaps something they need to look at.
I will try another browser in the meantime. Thanks for mentioning Firefox/

The only way to reinstall Safari on a Mac running v10.7 Lion is to restore OS X using OS X Recovery
Instead of restoring OS X in order to reinstall Safari, try troubleshooting extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.
If it's not an extension or plug-in issue, delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

I have this same issue! The button for to launch video chat isn't even there and when I go into skype to video in there I am able to get about 30 second of video then it freezes and won't come back.

Can't install update to Safari 7.1.2

I have tried several times to install the update Apple has sent for Safari 7.1.2. It gets to "less than one minute" left and then just hangs. Can't quit the install or open safari. I have resorted to restarting the computer, but I would like to install the update. Anyone else have this problem?

Downloaded Blur (a.k.a. Abine "Do not track me(?)") and keep getting "Cannot install" error messages (Safari 7.1.2). Running 10.9.5. on 13" 1.4 GHz Air.

Prevent installing apps from safari or message

Hi All,
I have enable restriction "ïnstalling apps" in my ipad mini and i can see app store is disappear after enbled the setting.
However, i still able to install apps from safari and message.
Is there anyway to prevent user install apps at all?

Have you restarted your router and your broadband device (if they're separate) since you first noticed the problem? If the answer is no, do that now and see whether there's any change.
Are any other web browsers installed, and are they the same?
What about other Internet applications, such as iTunes and the App Store?
Are there any other devices on the same network that can browse the Web, and are they affected?
If you can test Safari on another network, is it the same there?
If you connect to your router with Wi-Fi and you can also connect with Ethernet, do that and turn off Wi-Fi. Any difference?
