Install Creative Cloud to a different drive

Hi, I am trying to install creative cloud to my D Drive Rather than my SSD drive but I can't find the option to change the install location. I am running Windows 7 64bit.

I had the same problem and finally solved it.
It is "funny" that CC doesn't ask you where to install apps. Or better to say, it asks you but doesn't care. In Creative Cloud desktop app/Preferences there is option to choose where you want apps to be installed, but they are still installed in C:/Program Files/....
How to install apps on secondary drive in just 3 steps:
1. Go to page Adobe CC 2014 Direct Download Links – Creative Cloud 2014 Release | ProDesignTools and download all apps that you will need.
2. Once downloaded, install it. During installation you will be asked where you want app to be installed (just like in any other "normal" installation)
3. Be happy

I purchased creative cloud for students - it Is on one laptop but I use the other to take to school, When I try to install (even though I paid) it only says trials when I try to install PS or LR?? Maybe they don't allow this?

Can I install Creative Cloud on a different location on my computer

I need more room on my C drive, I wanted to install the desktop onto the D drive, I uninstalled the app but it keeps on installing back on my C drive, Please help

That is a terrible design. As a software developer I am appalled that this product was released to the public and doesn't allow for custom installation directory. The C:\ is a reserved drive for the operating system and the fact that Adobe hijacks that without even asking for alternatives is a terrible design in their software.
I just subscribed to the CC system and am discussed that I have to install it on my C:\ I REALLY hope that someone reads these and gets the developers to add an alternative to the installation directory for the desktop app. As I am very close to canceling my subscription and getting a refund.

No.
Different versions of Adobe software install into their own separate folders on your hard drive so they can happily co-exist on the same computer.
You can still launch and use the older versions at any time although it's often recommended to first close any apps you're not using.

Installing creative cloud on two devices

I bought a 1 year prepaid membership just now and wanted to install creative cloud on two different laptops. How do I do that?

I have the same issue. Did any of you find a solution?
Everything went perfectly well on my stationary computer at home - but I only get the opportunity to download Trial Versions from CC Desktop on my laptop (2nd computer). When I try to verify it asks for my serial number, which I obviously don't have since it's a subscription product. I'm logged in and my purchase (Student Edition) is shown correctly in my account overview.
I have no previous Adobe programs connected to my Adobe ID on the laptop.
Please, someone enlighten me!

Problem installing Creative Cloud programs Exit code 7. ERROR: updating driver failed

I am trying to install Creative Cloud programs, have managed to download and install Dreamweaver and Photoshop but when trying to install Fireworks and other programs I get the error message Exit code 7 : Error: updating driver data failed. Driver entry not added.
I am using a Dell 5010 running Windows 7.

Sure , you can install on both Mac as well as PC .
Max activation allowed = 2 computers.
Student discounted price will be valid for one year.
Later you can purchase with different Adobe ID , with valid proof of eligibility .
Once you had purchased yearly prepaid subscription , it will not expire for another one whole year , whether you are still student or finished graduation. It will expire after year.

Yes, but when I bought my standalone license and clicked on the "Download" button it took me to the LightroomCC page. The downloaded file is named Lightroom 6, but in the CC app the installed program is LightroomCC (2015).

This would increase installing speed since all those needed files would be available from Local Area Network, which is faster and my broadband and it also would allow hard drive to focus on installing files instead of current simulataneous reading and writing to same hard drive.

I cannot install creative cloud I get error code 48

I had tried updating LR to LR6 and I received and error code 48. I tried everything I saw except for the adobe cleaner. Including(you guess it) uninstalling CC. Now what?

Follow below steps to reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud :
1) Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.
2) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder.
3)
Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.
Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.
appdata
Then navigate to Local>Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.
4) Click on the below link and download Adobe Application manager and install the same :
Once the installation process is completed , it will create Adobe Application Manager shortcut icon on Desktop.

Important : Disable AntiVirus and Firewall temporarily .

Double Click on Adobe Application Manager shortcut icon on Desktop.
It will start update process and gets updated to Creative Cloud desktop app.

Issue with installing Creative Cloud

I have been downloading Creative Cloud for the million time now, but the installing process stops in the middle of it and disappears. Putting in mind that I have already purchased one of Adobe Creative Cloud programs but I can't download it because of this issue. I made sure to close any other programs, internet explorers while downloading it, but the issue is still there.
