Install error on mac intel

I am unable to install flash 9 on my intel mac. I have
deleted firefox and its preferences. I have closed google desktop
but still get the access denied message. Does anyone have any
suggestions?

When installing Flash Player on Leopard OSX, gets error
message: error creating file
Same error even if logged on as Administrator
Issue is due to Adobe installer, must be logged in at root
level
To create Root logon:
- Open Directory Utility under Applications - Utilities
- Unlock padlock in lower-left corner (may need administrator
password)
- Go to Edit - Enable Root
- Will get prompt to create Root password
- Log off and log back on choosing Other, then logging on
with username: root and new password
- Can now install Adobe Flash

I have downloaded and installed the Adobe support Advisor and it reported the following ,.
Trying to select the link in the report above takes me to the following ..

Which reports an error in a Windows environment ? and advices we ignore this error. However the installation does not go any further.. it quits and does not ask for the other disks to be installed.
Its been several times I have already tried to install and in between every install a restart of my mac pro

Install error on Mac "could not create ~/library/application support/adobe/coresync"

Any reason why this would be happening and what I should do?

I'm getting this same error after trying to install on my mac pro.
I see that the cloud installer was able to create the ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe folder and a bunch of folders in side that, but it complains
about not being able to create the CoreSync folder.
I ran into this, then uninstalled everything, and nuked the ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe folder completely and started over.
The installed created the Adobe folder and "AAMUpdaterInventory", "AdobeApplicationManager", "Extension Manager CC", OOBE, SLCache, SLStore, Vulcan
folders just fine. but it can't create the CoreSync folder in the same location.
I'm stuck.

CS5 Photoshop install errors on Mac OS X

I have a Mac OS X 10.7.5 and am trying to install Adobe Photoshop from my CS5 Design Premium Disk.
Illustrator and InDesign installed fine, but when it got to Photoshop I got this error.
I restarted the computer and tried again and got the same errors. I have no idea how I can go about fixing this.

since I have installed my MacPro the following statement stopped to work :
set Aujourdhui to current date
set Avant to (current date) - (300 * days)
tell application "Finder"
set laListe to get (every file of folder "Controles Asura:Archives_MVSTracks:" whose name contains "01" and creation date < Aujourdhui and creation date > Avant)
end tell
where "Controles Asura" is a shared volume.
I get Finder error "can't make some data into the expected type"
I tried using select instead of get unsuccessfully.
Meanwhile the script runs well when performed on a folder situated on the Mac's hard drive.

So I've started to simplify mine and progressively to add features to finally get back to the original script I posted :

works !!
and finally
set laListe to get (every file of folder "Controles Asura:Archives_MVSTracks:" whose name contains "01" and creation date < Aujourdhui and creation date > Avant)
It works too !!
Can you try this on your Mac ? Does the result of the script depends on the content of the target folder ? i.e. when there's a few files it works and when there's a lot it fails ?
I can't figure out how this is possible ? Maybe I should call Mulder and Scully

Install error on Mac mini

I am installing Microsoft office on a Mac mini. I am getting an error that says ... You must quit the following applications before you continue. The application is safari but I don't think safari is running.

Abandon the installation. Restart the Mac and try to install again making sure that no apps are open other than the installer.

Alright So I've tried to trouble shoot this myself and it wont install at all on my laptop. I run OS 10.8.5. I've tried the clean install thing too that didnt' work.
These are the errors i keep getting. I need to have this program or whatever so i can watch the vids for classes online. The faster i can get help the better,

Your troubles aren't coming from Flash Player.
You're missing a file that was made visible by the 10.8.5 update. Hundreds of thousands of Mac users all over the world deleted it, not knowing what it was. It causes this when it's missing.
Download this file: "Secrets" pereference pane
And this one: mach_kernel.zip
Install Secrets, and open your System Preferences.
Open the Secrets Preference Pane, and check "Show hidden files"
You'll need to press the "Quit this" button,
and restart Finder, by right clicking the Dock icon.
Then, place the mach_kernel.zip file in the Mac HD directory,
and unzip it. You should see a "faded" mach_kernel file appear.
Trash the zip file.
Reopen your System Preferences and uncheck "Show Hidden files".
Instead of quitting Finder and relaunching it, reboot your Mac.
Your Flash Player installer won't quit anymore.

Adobe Reader Install Error on Mac?

Got this error while trying to update adobe on my mid 2010 Mac Running OS X Version 10.9:
"Adobe Reader Installation Error: installer: Package name is Adobe Reader XI (11.0.04) installer: Installing at base path / installer: The install failed (The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.)"

Install CF8 on Mac Intel

I just tried to install CF8 on my new Maca nd I got the
error:
500 There is no web application configured to service your
request.
Does anyone know how to get CF8 working?

I had the same problem - mine was because of the
adminconfig.xml doesn't properly update once the install was done.
Go into your Coldfusion 8 folder. Then go into folder named
"lib" - then open adminconfig.xml. In the xml, you will see this
<runsetupwizard>true</runsetupwizard> but it should be
this
<runsetupwizard>false</runsetupwizard> (since
there is no need for a runsetupwizard once it is installed
already).
You should be good to go then.

Flash player 9 beta does not install on opera 9 mac (intel)

Hi All,
I installed the latest opera 9 on my new intel mac. Then I
tried to install the flash player 9 beta for intel mac. the player
was correctly installed on all the browers (firefox, sarafi) except
opera. There was no error messages shown during installation, but
when I tried to view flash content in opera, there is just simply
nothing showing (getting a blank area instead). Any idea what the
problem is?

When I try to install the latest addition of Adobe Additions to my Mac intel using O.S. Safari 10.4.11 I get an error message: "There is an error opening this document. There was a Macintosh systems error (-1409)"
Does anyone know of a way to install Adobe Digital Additions that is compatible with Safari10.4.11?

Certainly you would think that and I would too, but I've seen enough reports on here describing this scenario that were eventually fixed by reformating the card to give me pause. Don't claim to understand it, or guarantee that it will work but it's a very quick fix to try.

A12E5 is a download error. Please follow the mentioned steps:
Mac:
Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename to OOBE.old .
Navigate to Applications/Utilities and trash Application Manager and Creative Cloud desktop folder.
Download and install CC desktop again. If still the issue persists then restart Mac in safe boot and try installing again: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/start-safe-boot-mode-mac.htm l .

What version of Mac OS are you using? What is the exact name of the file which you are double clicking on? If you right click on the file and select Get Info what does it state under the Open With section?

Just before letting changes (installation in this case) be made on the system, Mac OS prompts for password & this has to be the Mac system password. This password prompt is the system's own native prompt & would accept the system password only. Please make sure it is the right system password (all/admin rights) and the installaion should run.
