I can't install Flash Catalyst Pannini on my 64 bit Windows 7 PC. I have the CS5 Master Suite installed and AIR and Flash latest versions. Is there anyway to get this installed so I can do mobile development?

  • Install errors for mini-SAP

I'm brand new to SAP and trying to get mini-sap installed on my laptop.  I have been running into database issues that prevent a clean install of SAP and have now removed all instances of SQL server (Express, 05 and 08).  The original errors dealt with sortorders and charsets.
Now I'm getting different but equally frustrating errors - "DBCOMMONDBENV_IND_MSS InternalColdKeyCheck:0 - Please install MS SQL Server before continuing the installation."  As soon as I do that, I start getting errors for invalid instanceids and then uninstall and try again.  It's a mad circle.
Any recommendations on how to install this?
    thanks for your help,
    Jeff

MiniSAP comes AFAIK with MaxDB as database, not with SQL Server.
Where did you get the DVD?

  • Install error for Chart Server for Siebel 8.1.1.1

    Hello all,
I have Siebel 8.1.1.0 installed, and the 8.1.1.1 patch applied. It's been stable for a while now, but I've decided to get the charts functionality working, and am having trouble with the installer.
Basically, I get library errors, and the installer won't start. I've tried playing around with LD_LIBRARY_PATH (which helped in the Siebel install), but still nothing. I've tried running it through putty and VNC Viewer, with no luck.
I suspect that I'm missing something in my Linux 5.1 environment, which is a virtual machine using Amazon Web Services. Unfortunately I'm not much of a Linux guy, and don't want to start playing around unless I have an idea what needs to be done. It's a bit frustrating since the other Siebel install programs run ok.
Any thoughts/suggestions would be very much appreciated..
    Thanks,
    Jon

We experienced similar issue on our installation. Worked with Oracle support, and seems like you need to change the environment variable settings on the linux and .bin file. Here is what we have changed and we were able to install charts in 8.1.1.1 Linux environment.
With Oracle expert help, we figured out that the .bin file needed to be changed. we did the following on our second QA server to run the installer without setting any other environment variables:
    a. identified the above files by using find / -name <filename> to find the location.
    b. checked whether it is their in the env varialbles.
    c. more than one location was found . some of them were like /usr/lib and /lib etc. even there was a file by the name in siebsrvr/lib and gtwysrvr/lib etc
    d. when we add this in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH and PATH, then the error was different than what we saw first time.
    e. this clearly shows that there is something wrong with the environment variables.
    h. as per this, he has to comment out two places of LD_LIBRARY_PATH. he did this. saved the *.bin file to a new bin file
    i. uncomment LD_ASSUME_KERNEL variable.
J.then set DISPLAY. The installer worked fine.
k.. the issue was with the bin file provided and the solution is mentioned in the above linke.
    1. cd ${install_image}/8.1.1.1/Linux/Server_Ancillary/Visual_Mining_Netcharts_Server/enu/unix
    2. export DISPLAY=${my_ip}:0.0
    3. sh NetChartsServer4.6SiebelEdition.linux.bin
    Hope this helps.

  • Install error for Oracle 10g on Solaris x86 64-bit.  NETCA won't run

    Hi All,
I'm installing Oracle 10.2.0.1 on Solaris x86 64-bit. I run the Oracle installer and all runs well until the NETCA portion of the install. It then errors (error file below). When i attempt to run NETCA outside of the installer i'm getting the same error output. I have verified my OS version and that all dependent packages are installed. I'm not sure what is causing this. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

  • Install error for Ad Hoc build

I am trying to send an Ad Hoc distribution of my app to my friend for testing.
I created an Ad Hoc provisioning profile at the portal with the UDID of my friend's iPhone. I installed it in Xcode. I created the Ad Hoc configuration (which is a copy of the Release configuration). Next I added the Entitlements.plist file and specified it for the Code-signing.
I am able to Build & Archive successfully and install it on my device thru the iPhone. However, when my friend tries to install it, an error is displayed:
The app "appName" was not installed on the iphone "Friend's iPhone" because the signer is not valid.

In the Build Info, I see that for the Ad Hoc configuration, the Code Signing Identity for Any iOS is set to my Distribution profile - not the Ad Hoc provisioning profile.
In fact, the Ad Hoc provisioning profile is not even listed in the list...may be that's what is wrong!
All I need to know is how to update that list to that the new prov profile is listed there

  • Install error for oracle 9.2.0.1 in SUN OS 5.10

    Hi,
I install the oralce 9 in SUN OS 10..
When I run the runinstaller.sh in oracle account .....
    I get error " %PROD_HOME%/install not exist " ....
Where is the %PRDO_HOME%" define ???
    How to fix it ????

It is possible to run 9.2 on Solaris 10, I had to do this for a legacy system.
As to "what" %PROD_HOME% is, it looks like it's a Windows environment variable specification not a Unix one, there do seem to be a few places where this occurs in some of the installation media, I'm not sure why.
I think your problem may simply be that you're running the wrong script to start the installer, it should be just "runInstaller", not "runInstaller.sh" and should be at the root of Disk1.

  • Install error for Adobe flash 11.8

I work at a school that uses Smart Tech (smartboard interactive). With the new version of Adobe Flash, the animation will not work. I need to downgrade Adobe Flash to 11.8 version in order for the Smarttech (smartboard) to use the animation portion of their software. Uninstalled the newer version, rebooted and downloaded 11.8. When trying to install the older version I receive an error stating this is not the newer version. How do I get by this?
    Any help would be appreciated.

I have found the answer. I needed to install the plugin only.
    Thanks.

  • Very annoying 11g OUI install error for the oracle clusterware

Clean install of 11g RAC Clusterware downloaded from oracle site today
    ./runcluvfy.sh stage -pre crsinst -n lin1,lin2 -verbose
...everything passes just fine. Great. Time to install the clusterware.
    [oracle@lin1]$ ./runInstaller
Installer starts, prerequisite checks are done for **Oracle 9.2 RAC and OCR*** Where did 9.2 come from?. All the checks succeed so... whatever...just move on.
I get a few screens to the "Specify Cluster Configuration" sceen.
I enter the following for the Cluster Name: lin_cluster
I enter the following for the 2 nodes:
Public Node Name Private Node Name Virtual Host Name
    lin1 lin1-priv lin1-vip
    lin2 lin2-priv lin2-vip
Click next.....ack!! Error: "You must enter unique values for the public node name, the private node name and the virtual hostname for all nodes in the cluster. The name, lin1, that you entered is being used by more than once [sic] for the same node"
So, what to do? How more unique can the names be?
There is an option to "Use A configuration File..." and browse for it. Anyone know where that file is?
    Any assistance much appreciated.

    Ice,
Yes my friend...well done. There was an incorrect entry in my /etc/hosts file as follows:

    # Private Interconnect - (eth1)
    192.168.1.100 lin1-priv <-----right here...should be 192.168.2.100
    192.168.2.101 lin2-priv
    # Public Virtual IP (VIP) - (eth0)
    192.168.1.200 lin1-vip

  • Install Error for Vista x64

Ever since the release of 7.5, I've been unable to update iTunes. As a result, I've been blissfully enjoying 7.4 for a while now. However, I bought an iPhone yesterday and must deal with my inability to install 7.7. In my attempts to install (both .exe and .msi files individually), I get the following error:
"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance."
A quick search for this error on Google and the Apple support forums leads me to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315346 but it unfortunately only applies to XP/ Server 2003. I figured I should target iTunes as the problem and not Vista, as I have no trouble installing anything else at all.
I'm going crazy in frustration. I've tried everything from quiet installs to editing the .msi files through Orca. Any thoughts?

I wanna ask is it my display or something else. Im using 1366x768.
Yes it is. The system requirements are there for a reason, not just for fun. These apps all have tons of palettes and require extra space for displaying timelines, compositions and video previews and even if they could be installed with such a small screen res, working with them would be no fun at all because things would get cut off or you would be forced to shuffle palettes around all the time. You really need a qualified computer.

  • Install error for 5.1.1 RTE

I am trying to install the Run Time Engine for 5.1 that I downloaded from NI to run an executable from Analog Devices for an evaluation board; however every time I try to install the RTE I get an error stating "Cannot find LabView 5.0".  I have another computer where somehow I installed I believe LabView 8, uninstalled it, installed the RTE and it works without any issues.  However I've been unsuccesful in duplicating this on any other machine.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get the installer to actually install the RTE?
    Thanks.
    - Eric

    Hey Eric,
I would just check all versions of the different software on your computer to make sure you have no conflicts. You can either look in MAX or you can llok in add/remove programs. You should also be able to check what compatible versions you need on our website at ni.com by searching.
I know this isn't a specific solution, but hopefully it can get you on the right foot.

  • Install error for Itunes 11.1.0

I am having a problem installing itunes 11.1.0 on windows 7. When I install through Apple Software update I am able to download and then get an error message saying "Errors occurred while installing the updates. If the problem persists, choose Tools > Download Only and try installing manually." If I then try the suggested route of downloading the installer and running it manually I get a message saying "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2324." Any solutions?

This is a Fix, it shouldnt be happeneing for every single Update, Apple has totally gone second rate with everything, and this problem has been happening for over a year.
If your Update Fails go to TOOLS in the update window, and pick manual download.
Then for everyone " People with failed updates and people with administrator problems "
    Go to
    C:\Users\"YOUR USER NAME"\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update
and right click all the .msi files one at a time, and pick install and if asked repair.
