Install Failed, many times....

Well I have tried over 7 times with no luck! So here is the story.
1. Purchased the Family pack of Leopard on Saturday
2. Upgraded my G5 iMac on Sunday it would appear that the install went ok.
3. Tried to upgrade my G4 1.5 GHz with 1.25Gig of ram.
After letting the upgrade run on the G4 it gave a message that the upgrade had failed and that i should reboot and try again.
I did this, and Leopard booted up, however there was an error, so file did not load and I could not launch the finder. So I booted into target mode and moved all of my data over to a another disk.
I formated the Powerbook HD and tried a fresh install. So far it had failed with:
The Installer could not verify the contents of the "BaseSystem" Package
The Installer could not verify the contents of the "AdditionalSpeechVoices" Package
The Installer could not verify the contents of the "CanonPrint something" Package
The Installer could not verify the contents of the "EpsonPrint something" Package
and there have been a others that I have not made a note of. I finally brook down and called Apple Support on Monday and spend 3H 24Min on hold to be told that they had no idea.
Any suggestions?

I had very similar issue:
Got family license Leopard.
First: install on G4 PowerBook, no issue.
Second: tried installed on my MacBookPro. Validation came back with all sort of "can't validate package: blah" errors.
Already tried using an archive copy of the disc (done before G4 install), AND went to Apple Store for another Disc. No dice, same "validation error".
Solution: Use my G4 Powerbook's in Target disk mode, mount the Disk in the G4's drive. Install from that was a snap.
So now I think my MacBookPro (first gen, 2.0 Gz CPU) superdrive is the problem. The funny thing is, it seems to be reading other disks and burning disc without any issue.
At least the bottomline, after muxing with the install for more than a week I got my leopard on my main laptop!

If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

My current version of Chrome is having problems, too! It's so annoying. Anyone have any suggestions now? I basically can't view or download any PDFs because of this.
Does anyone else think this is a problem not only with Adobe? I would think Apple would have something to do with this? Wouldn't they get some idea from the developer versions that no browser can open PDFs while running Lion!? Use the sim tool that came with your phone or a safety pin and just insert it into the hole at the side of the sim tray and push it in and then pull it out. It is no more difficult than that and then just close it again.

If this involves downloading Adobe software then it is probably your computer's security password, nothing to do with Adobe.

Help needed: iPhone 4 software upgrade failed many times

Hello. I've bought an iPhone 4, which its operating system is 4.3, and was prompt by iTunes about this iPhone 4 software upgrade to iOS 4.3.5. I've downloaded the software and waiting for quite some time and after the dowloading has completed, the file will be processed. After processing, there is a popup saying that somehow the software upgrade failed and said something like make sure that your connection is correct etc. Do you have any idea on how to solve this issue?

Itunes does not open. I have tried to uninstall it and install it many times as i have seen on some communities but still keep on getting the Itunes was not install correctly. Please reinstall itunes. Error 7 (Windows 193). I have windows 7.

If you are running 64-bit Windows and the above steps haven't helped try installing the version of iTunes that can be downloaded from this support document. iTunes 12.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards)

Itunes says i dont have the required software for my ipad 2 even though i do! i have uninstalled and re installed it many times.

Itunes keeps saying my ipad 2 cannot be used because the required software is not installed. It IS. I have unistalled and reinstalled many times. It worked before but now all of a sudden it doesnt.

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you?

ILife install fails every time on 1 of my Macs

Just one! tried installing 1st on my older iMac ('08 -24") and got almost done and said "install FAILED, try again or contact Apple". Well haven't had time during normal hours to do that so I thought I'd try here first.
2-4th attempts all did the same thing. So I put it on my brand new 21.5" iMac. No problems at all (even all the ones people are having - just can't connect to facebook so far & emailing *****, for everyone). whew! Fresh install of 10.6.4 with all software upgrades too.
Thought, okay I have a 2.5 year old MacBook Pro, install it on that. No problems at all.
Put it back in the original iMac, repaired permissions, restarted several times....still FAILS at the installation process. There is VERY little installed on this iMac, I only have 4k photos on it. (my new one has 45k!!!!)

The same thing happened to me, but it failed very early in the installation phase.
I read the post by Kent Arnsbarger about making a copy with Toast and everything working out fine. That pointed to a disk error instead of bad install software. So, I ejected the disk and looked at the business side of it under a table lamp. I noticed that there were a couple of lines and dots of some material that was left on the disk from the manufacturing process. I got a damp towel and cleaned the disk off, popped it back into the drive, and everything installed beautifully.
This may not be a solution for you guys, but it worked for me.

Holding down the center/select button and the menu button will reboot your ipod. See if that helps. Also, I'd recommend something else- I had nothing but trouble with my ipod classic until I spent $20 to get Mac OS Mountain Lion. It did what you said and sometimes wouldnt play, or wouldnt power on...
Try rebooting your ipod and let me know what happens and maybe in the future obtain Mountain Lion to aide your ipod in functionality.
