Install failure Acrobat XI trial on my Mac (OS X Yosemite 10.10.2)

I have tried to install Acrobat XI on my Mac (OS X Yosemite 10.10.2) and I get the message "The Installation Failed!  The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail.  Contact the software vendor for assistance".  This occurs at the very end of the installation.  I tried using Safari twice and Google Chrome once and it still did not solve the problem???

Hi Curtis ,
You can try to verify disk disk permissions and then repair disk permissions.
Once you have Repair Disk Permissions, please try to install Acrobat XI.
To verify and Repair Disk Permissions please follow the below Steps.
Clisk on Spot Light and type Disk Utility.
Then click On Mac HD on the left side.
Then click Verify Disk Permissions and wait for it to complete, once it is complete.
Click on Repair Disk Permissions, once repair is done.
Start the installation of Acrobat XI.
If you still face same issue, you can Customer Support Team via Live Chat.

  • Install SAP QUI free trial version on Mac Os

    Hi everybody,
I would like to install SAP QUI for java trial version on Mac Os.
I read the downloads guide. But I can’t understand what solution name I need.
Can you tell me the correct Solution ID to install SAP QUI for java free trial version on Mac Os? I'm newer here.
Or maybe you can tell me how to download and install sap free trial version in other way?
    Thanks in advance.

I am having this same exact problem.  I have a mid-2011 iMac (latest model) 3.4 GHz i7, 20GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB.  All of the other effects seem to work fine, but i have this same issue with all of the garbage mattes.  I have just seen this thread and am wondering if there has been any progress or insights to finding a solution.  I do use 4 point masks that are not exasctly square/rectangular so the crop work around won't exactly work for me.  I can also make a shape and use an image mask but that takes a bit longer than a quick garbage mask.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I installed Java for OS X2014-001 but it doesn't work either. Help please !!

CS6 is not part of the Cloud, so moved to a more appropriate forum
Yosemite sometimes has problems, often related to "default" permissions needing to be changed

i have downloaded adobe acrobat from adobe assistant and after the installation it is asking for serial number even though i opt for trial usage. how can i resolve this problem?

Maheedhararao if you are unable to install in trial mode then it is likely the trial period for that computer has expired.  I would recommend evaluating the software on a different computer.

  • Installing Adobe After Effects 5.5 on Mac OS X Yosemite

I am looking into buying Adobe After Effects CS5.5 because of my current budget. I have recently updated to the new Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite. So, if I buy this and install it to my computer, brand new and everything, while still on Yosemite, will it actually work, or will I get the white "not allowed" sign on it?

After Effects CS5.5 is not supported on that operating system. After Effects CS6 and later are.

  • Purchased Acrobat XI, need to edit a form, I need livecycle to do so, can't install trial on my Mac?

My boss put Acrobat Pro XI on my Mac, I need the lifecycle to edit a form but don't know how often I'll need this tool. When I tried to download the trial, it didn't seem to support mac OS, what is the deal?

To create and edit PDF forms you need Acrobat Standard as a minimum.
If those forms require Extended Rights applied to do the following, you need Acrobat Pro:
Allow Adobe Reader users prior to version XI to save filled-in forms
Allow Adobe Reader users to complete digital signature fields
    See http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/product-comparison.html
Normally the underlying page layout of a form is created and edited in the original application (Word, InDesign, etc.) and Acrobat is only used to add the interactive fields after the PDF has been created. Acrobat Pro can do basic editing of page content but it's a long way from a word processor!
'Acrobat Plus' is simply a subscription version of Acrobat Pro with Adobe's cloud-based  storage and tools included. The software itself is indentical to the regular Pro version.

if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html
and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com
