Install firmware on my iPhone 4
Hi i downloaded iOS 7 on my PC and placed it under C:\Documents and Settings\MY-USER-NAME\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates\. Trouble is, my iTunes doesnt see it and therefor can'y install it on my iPhone 4. Please Help.
You don't update that way. You connect your phone, iTunes running, you then tap the Check for Updates button on the Summary Pane. iOS 7.0.2 will be installed on your phone.

You can take it to your cellular provider and explain to them that you think its been tampered with and have them restore it to factory settings. Be sure they do not back up your cell phone. This means you will loose all your applications, numbers, data, ect.
If it's an Iphone restore it without backing it up and restore to the latest firmware because once you change the baseband the spyware will be deleted.
Purchase an anti spyware software. -

try a reset of iPhone and then a restore,best, as new and if it then functions correctly try restoring with your backup -

If it's an app made only for iPad, you can't. Some developers make apps which will work on both devices (the + sign in the download button indicates). Some apps are made specifically for one device, and there may be separate versions for each device (so you have to pay twice!). You can install an iPhone-only app on an iPad (but it usually doesnt look great), but you cannot put a phone-only app on an iPad.

I have installed iOS7 on my iphone. The phone for some reason has my old user id which I have forgotten the password for.
My other i products are all under my new user id.

IOS7 installed OK to my iPhone 4S and worked OK for a while but I have somehow managed to completely jam my iPhone 4s. The touch screen won't work except for up and down gestures (some of the time). I can't make or answer calls, I can't even power if off. I can't access the hardward ID which Apple support seems to require for Chat.
It might have happened when I was accessing my camera bypassing the lock screen!
All I know is that the thing is now useless and it looks like I will have to wait for the battery to run down to see if powering it back up afterwards will solve the problem.I have since discovered the "hold down home key and power button" together for a few seconds and this seems to have worked .... phew!

Unfortunately no. The only way the phone backs up is if you make it back up. You either connect to iTunes and backup and sync, or you set it up for a wifi sync to iCloud. But you have to setup iCloud to start with. You have learned a hard lesson on how to make sure you import pictures on a regular basis like you would the digital camera. When things happen to the phone, this is the media that is lost the most (pictures in camera roll). After taking a number of pictures, and especially ones you consider important, you should connect the phone to the computer and import them, so there is a backup copy on the computer.
Contacts are saved in the backup as well, however they are really designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer, or backed up to iCloud or other cloud service. And, the only way to go back in time on the phone is to restore from a backup, but you also have to remember, you would lose everything on the phone that you had done since that backup, so it is a double edged sword. -

Apple does tell you about required equipment for the iPhone -- in 8 point medium gray type on a light gray box. The Store associates kind of automatically assume everybody is running a new model computer and the one I met when we bought our iPhone had never seen a pre-2008 Mac and was somewhat puzzled why anybody would own such an antique. -
I just installed Icloud on my Iphone and PC (all versions of updates as required). I checked mail, calendar and tasks to be synced.The Outlook calendar shows an I cloud calendar but none of the events on my phone calendar. Email from the phonre and pc are not syncinh wither. The phone shows an Icloud inbox. What do I do to get items to sync?.

What you've outlined in this part of the post is all that icloud stores for you outside of the backup. If you want to restore from the icloud backup you will then have for all practical purposes a carbon restoration back to your device if you restore from the icloud backup.

Syncing your device with itunes will then enable you to remove whatever photos you wish to remove from your device deleting them with the computer and not the iphone. -
