Install Full Versions of Apps in CC
I just upgraded from a single CC app, Illustrator, to the full CC. I would like to install Photoshop CC and upgrade my current Lightroom 4 to Lightroom 5. But, on my Mac, only a trial version of Photoshop are available to me on Adobe.com and the CC app on the Mac. Lightroom 5 is available only as a trial on Adobe.com and not on the CC app. Can someone please help me figure out how to install the full, non-trial versions of these apps?
I have logged off and on the adobe.com site and CC apps, and it did not help. I also restarted the Mac.
Thanks,
Randy

You probably need to manually delete the OPM.db and clean out the old activations in your SLStore....

Two Questions, uninsall trail version, and then install full version that we downloaded
Hi all, I need to uninstall "trail" verision on one computer, there is only a few apps that we tried out, but I know it good idea to uninstall them first. I then need to download and install a verision that wil bought that is full version, but was downloaded. When I log in on other mac, i cannot find my paid version to download. Also the paid verision is already intstalled on other computer. I can't seem to find the .dmg file on "paid install, Is there a way to copy to flash drive to intalll? I have pretty slow internet. I'm a newbie to adobe, so any help would be appreciated. I followed instruction I found for uninstalling, said to go to apps folded click on program and following instructions, I seem I'm missing something, because it just opens application. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Gerald Hetirck
There is no requirement to uninstall trial versions - they all can be activated by inputting the serial numbers or signing into CCApp. The rest isn't really clear since you didn't say anything about what product(s) you actually bought.

I've bought an App last year. Everything was ok. But now there's only the LITE-Version on my iPhone. Why? Where is my Full-Version?
Neither of these ideas apply...
Prior to exausting everything I could think of, the free version was not installed, and in fact had never been 'purchased' (it did not show up in my purchases list, and the button on it read 'free' instead of 'install')...
The first thing I did was a spotlight search for JPEGmini, with no results comming up.
I then went into the App Store which is when I found that it was reported as installed.
I proceeded to use the Terminal app to try and determine if a hidden flag had been set on the app in the Applciatons folder (rendering it present but invisible), but was able to confirm there was no applicable hidden item...
It was then that I 'bought' and downloade the free version, just to see if it would work. It worked as expected, and even upon deleting the app the 'INSTALLED' indicator in the App Store went back to an 'INSTALL' button...
I've since removed the free version but am still unable to install the full version... -
Problems with Install: Full Version / Full - JDK
It's been a long day but ...
Trying to install both the full version and full -JDK. Both extracts contain several duplicate file versions some with same date/time, others different file sizes and date/time stamps.
The creation of the folder: sqldeveloper per the Install Instructions below doesn't happen:
Unzipping the SQL Developer kit causes a folder named sqldeveloper to be created under the <sqldeveloper_install> folder (for example, C:\Program Files\sqldeveloper). It also causes many files and folders to be placed in and under that directory.
I get a little wild and run sqldeveloper.exe from the extract <sqldeveloper_install> folder (since the other one didn't get created) and all I get is a flash of a DOS window like something is trying to work.
Help?
Thank you in advance!First of all, even on windows you only need one download - the 65MB one if you don't have an existing JDK 1.5 install or the 38MB one if you do (if you are unsure, I would suggest the larger option). It is a bit worrying that there are "matching" files in both with different sizes/timestamps but so long as you stick to a single zip file, that shouldn't matter.
I would suggest that you blow away your existing <sqldeveloper_install> folder and start again with either the SQL Developer including JDK 1.5 (65MB) or the SQL Developer without JDK 1.5 (38MB), whichever is appropriate for you.
Given the structure of the zip file contents, if you want your <sqldeveloper_install> folder to be C:\Program Files\sqldeveloper, extract the zip file to C:\Program Files (if you extract to C:\Program Files\sqldeveloper, your install folder ends up being C:\Program Files\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper).
Then, as you tried previously, the <sqldeveloper_install>\sqldeveloper.exe should start SQL Developer. -
I need to install CC versions of apps for an upcoming project
I mostly work with After Effects and Photoshop, only occasionally dipping in to Premiere, and so have always updated as and when updates come out. I have an upcoming project though that has been cut in the CC (not CC 2014) versions of apps, and the Producer/Editor wants to stay in the same versions of his apps. However, it seems that the ability to download previous versions of apps through the creative cloud has gone. What's the best way to get these back?
Also! Is it possible to direct link form Premiere CC to SpeedGrade CC 2014? As SpeedGrade is the app that I would most miss the changes between versions of.
Thanks!Hi BBonlineB,
you can definitely install the CC version from your Creative cloud desktop application.
Refer this link: Creative Cloud Help | Install, update, or uninstall apps
And I am sorry but the features changes we have done in the CC-2014 version, your project in CC version can't be linked with the CC-2014 version.
The same version of product can only be linked with same version of another product.
I hope it helps.

Had a trial version, now trying to install full version from disk and won't work
I am now trying to install a full version of Aperture 3.0 from a disk after having a trial version downloaded a few months ago. Everything goes fine until I click on the icon after installation. A box comes up asking for serial number to upgrade the trial version, but says that it is invalid after I enter it. Product was purchased directly from Apple, so it is a valid disk. I have deleted all the accompanied files that I can find that were on the computer prior to having the full version. What else should/can I do to get this to work?
Thanks.Hello,
I have deleted all the accompanied files that I can find that were on the computer prior to having the full version.
Did you deinstall all of the files mentioned here?
Re: Aperture Removed...still wants to update
And afterwards open a terminal window (the Terminal is in Applications -> Utilities)
and type the following command:
sudo pkgutil --forget com.apple.pkg.Aperture
You will need to enter your admin password.
Then try again to install your boxed Aperture 3 version.
Good Luck

Unable to install Full version of Tiger 10.4 or even any part of it!
eMac 1.25G 256Mb 80G Combo
Ok. Now that I have a full version of Tiger. I am unable to install it. Have done first aid several times to the drive. Done the one pass of Zero's as well as verified the drive. I have tried the installation approx 7x. It would hang up at different points. 2x i got the Black screen with the 6 different Languages to restart the system. Using Apple Mouse and Keyboard. Oh, and pulling out my hair does not help at all with it working either, i know it now, I did it!!
Thanks for your help..
BruceAnother possibility: could the 256 MB RAM chip be bad? Faults in just a few memory locations could cause problems during install. Usually, if RAM were suspect, I'd suggest using Memtest in single-user mode, but that's not workable in this case, where there's no OS on the hard drive. Since the odds of happening to have a known-good DDR PC2700 memory chip lying about aren't high, you can at least try pulling the RAM that's in the eMac now, cleaning the connectors, and re-seating the ship, in either the current slot or the other one. There's a small but non-zero chance that the RAM is slightly loose in the slot, and reseating ould help. RAM installation instructions are at eMac - Do-It-Yourself.

Uninstall-Install Full Version DW on Mac
ISSUE: After attempting to uninstall trial version of
Dreamweaver, I cannot install purchased full version of Dreamweaver
CS3 because error message says:
Already Installed. There are no obvious files left.
Preferences folder has been deleted, too.
DETAILS: Prior to purchasing the full version of Dreamweaver
CS3, I downloaded the trial version to make sure it would work on
my Mac. It was an incredible program. I purchased Dreamweaver CS3
as part of the Adobe Master Collection. The installation process
for the Master Collection was very simple. When it came time for
the Dreamweaver portion of the installation, I was alerted that the
installation could not be completed until the trial version of
Dreamweaver was deleted. Being relatively new to the Mac OS, I
called Adobe Tech Support to find out how to delete the trial
version. I was advised that deleting programs on the Mac is as
simple as dragging the folder to the trash. I dragged the
executable file to the trash, and they said that should be it. I
emptied the trash, restarted the computer, and then attempted to
complete the installation process. Same error, it says Dreamweaver
is already installed. I did a search for any files or folders with
the word "dream" in it, and deleted those that appeared to relate
to Dreamweaver. Dumped trash, restart, attempt to install - same
problem, Dreamweaver is already installed.
I cannot find any remnants of the trial Dreamweaver, and I
still can't install the purchased version! I have called Adobe Tech
Support on four different occasions and each time, I have been
transferred from one person to the next, each one not familiar with
the Mac.
I bought the Master Collection so I could have Dreamweaver,
and now it's the only thing I can't use!
I have combed the internet for suggestions on how to fix
this. I have found detailed lists here in Adobe support files that
list each file used by Dreamweaver that must be deleted. I deleted
each folder, file, etc. There doesn't appear to be anything left,
but I still can't install. I can't use the installer program
because it was one of the things that got deleted! The Master
Collection's installer won't install, uninstall, or repair the
trial version.
I'm stuck. Any suggestions? On the Mac, DO NOT drag applications to the trash to
uninstall them. To
safely uninstall software, double-click
the product installer in Applications/Utilities/Adobe
Installers.
Authenticate as an administrator, then select
Remove Components and follow the on-screen instructions.
If that doesn't exist anymore-

and

the last link is a removal tool for both win/mac

Install full version over TN Windows 8.1 Enterprise RTM
Hi
I have installed and setup the TN Windows 8.1 Enterprise RTM evaluation and will now proceed to purchase a full version via our home working business portal. Do I have to do a fresh install with the full version and then re-install all drivers etc
or is there a way to run a repair install using the full version and keeping the files/drivers etc? Or can I use my licence key to turn the evaluation into a full version
ThanksHi!
It is possible to install the "new" OS over the other one, it requires some changes in the csversion.ini though, but it's possible.
I allways recomend doing a fresh install since the chanses for corrupt drivers and system files are quite high.
So if you have the possibility, I would backup all files and do a fresh install, then copy the backed up files back to it's original location.
!!!The following part is not supported by Microsoft or any one else and it might ressult in disaster!!!
On the DVD or ISO, there is a file called csversion.ini.
This file tells which minimum version that can be uppgraded when booting the ISO.
So if you change the values under [Host Build] to 7100.0 instead of the original values, you are able to upgrade your OS.
But as I've mentioned, this is not supported in any way and might ressult in disaster!
Best regards

Installing full version of LR4; do i need to uninstall LR3.6?
I am running Lightroom 3.6 on my desktop (Windows Vista) and my laptop (Windows 8). Do I need to uninstall 3.6 before installing the full version of LR4? (I purchased the full version not the upgrade.) If I save my catalog will I be able to open it in LR4?
Thank you for your help!
CherylNo, you don't need to uninstall earlier versions of Lightroom.
Your LR3 catalog will convert (the technical term is "upgrade") to LR4 (actually, a copy will be converted, your LR3 catalog remains untouched) -
Hi
I have a 2nd generation iPod Touch, and as such, I can only update it to 4.2.1. The problem is that now most of the apps in the AppStore tell me to get newr versions of the iOS, wich I can't. Is there any way to install older versions of the apps, compatible with my iPod?
ThanksYour only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

Saving/Installing Older Versions of Apps?
Hey gang-
As my app collection grows both in size and dollar value, I've started to become concerned about retaining earlier versions of some of my favorite or most work-critical apps. I say this because some recent updates to some of my apps have not been for the better- i.e. features removed, or broken, or the interface "improved" (i.e. ruined), or bloating creeping feature-itis, or you name it. And in many cases, it isn't apparent until you've installed or tried the new version that it is a step backward.
So, is there any way in iTunes to save multiple versions of apps? And if you discover that a newer version is a clunker, is there a way to re-install the earlier version?
Thanks!
Davewjosten wrote:

No.

No.
Interesting. And surprising. Certainly in Desktop computing, we can always delete and re-install an earlier version of an app assuming we've saved its installer .dmg, or CD or whatever (which the wise user always does.)
Now, in a world of free or 99 cent iPhone apps, I guess this isn't that big a deal. But as the number of more costly professional and enterprise apps grows, I think we will find that workflows cannot come to a halt just because a developer released a clunker update. Again, in Desktop computing, we'd simply re-install the previous version.
Perhaps some enterprising developer can come up with an "iTunes App Manager" or something like that.

Issues installing full version of 5 side by side with 4?
To avoid potential issues, I'd like to install the full version of Captivate 5 side by side with Captivate 4,
This allows me to avoid upgrading existing courses written in 4, when changes need to be made.
New courses will be created in 5.
Are there any issues getting both to work side by side?
In other programs, I've encoutered errors when different versions of the same program are installed
due to shared code or interactions with other progs. One or the other suffers. Will I encounter similiar issues?
( I'm aware that once a captivate file is in 5 format, it can't be openned in 4.)
Thanks for your reply
-JoanHi Joan,
I have both Captivate 4 and Captivate 5 installed on my laptop(XP SP3) and they both seem to work without any issues. So i would say go ahead ....

I purchased a Dell Inspiron laptop which was bundled with PC Ultimate Software Suite, a collection of programs on one disc. It included Adobe Photoshop Elements 12, but I misplaced the insert that contained the serial key. I still have the sleeve that the CD was bundled with, as well as the CD itself. Is there anyway I can still download the full version of Photoshop Elements 12 without having to buy the program separately or buying Software Suite again?
If Dell provided the bundle you should contact Dell to see about getting a replacement or the serial for the disk.
