Install https certificate and Connect to an alias URL

Hello,
I have IDM 7.1 installed on Windows and MS SQL and its working fine.
My requirement is to access IDM with easyURL (instead of having port no: 500000/idm...).
an alias name has been created. Now i want to install https certificate and then want to connect to the alias URL.
I have got the https port number also.
would you please help me as to exactly how to install th https certificate to the alias URL.

I would imagine that at school, you're required to connect through an HTTP proxy.
From the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the Proxies tab. Enter the proxy settings given to you by the network administrator. Click OK and then Apply.
You may wish to create separate network locations for home and school. See the built-in help for instructions.

Problems installing SSL certificates for more than one alias on iMS 5.2

I have a problem to getting encyption on IMAP/HTTP/SMTP when they are on the same server. I only getting one SSL certificate installed by the Netscape console wizard, and therefore only one alias.
Let's say I have 3 aliases to the same server just for the scalability, imap.vxu.se, smtp.vxu.se and mail.vxu.se for http (https). Then I can only have one certificate installed at the same time, for example https://mail.vxu.se. And the others, like (S)IMAP I getting a dialouge that says the hostname doesnt is the same as the registred in the certificate. How do I solve this? Is there some possibillity to install more than ONE certificate, so I can have one certificate for each alias?
Environment: Full 420R, Solaris 8, iMS5.2

Although I completely agree the comments that suggestion this is not a great configuration idea, the error you are seeing ("...bean not found...") likely has nothing to do with the configuration - at least not as mentioned. My first guess is that if you are running the same exact form (FMX) as you ran for your first test then there should be no error. The only way such an error would appear is if the proper jar files are not being pulled to the client JRE or if the fmx was not properly generated. Be sure you are including config=webutil in the URL or that you have added the Webutil configuration info to your own named configuration section of formsweb.cfg
Regardless, if this is a Windows machine, the probability of having problems with multiple installations of the same version is high. Consider that the system PATH, CLASSPATH, ORACLE_HOME and various other system variables needed by the server side of the installation will overlap for each installation. This will cause problems. On the client side, attempting to download jars of the same name from the same server, but which are not actually the same files will confuse the JRE. If the JRE detects that a file which it has already cached is coming from the same server (host) then it will not attempt to pull it again. This will be a problem if the jars are not exactly the same in both installation. Making the problem worse is that you may not be able to easily determine from which installation the jars (or any files) were obtained.
So. as a general rule, regardless of whether multple installations can co-exist, I would not recommend it. This is especially true on a Windows platform.

I am unable to access sites which require an ssl certificate. I have installed the certificates and enabled access by applications.

Firefox 8 does not ask for the certificate, it simply refuses to display the page. Running an asus transformer on android 3,on my desktop accessing the same site firefox asks me to choose the certificate. Initially I was asked to install the certificates,firefox mobile does not ask. Android lets me install the certificate

Bug Webplayer - no https certificat and connexion impossible

hello (i'm French), there is a bug as sceenshot show, PC very clean and i maybe want to suscribe (i'm on Deezer 4.99e now,and i want to change).when i use web player ,logging ok,after few second bug appear "impossible to connect to spotify"..and turn for ever..i have allways to reload tab to make disapear the bug.i recome when i close and re-open firefox....i don't understand, noscript blocked,clean,uptodate, nothing. i have seen that the https logo is triangular without information, maybe it's the problem.it's ok for few second and certificat disable and logo change for triangle my instalation is new for 3 days and very simple and clean. I think it's caused by your internet connection, or something else (I don't know anything about your Internet connection). So, I will just recommend you tot download the Desktop App instead and use Spotify there. About the Avatar or profile picture, If you connect your Facebook Account to Spotify, it will sync your profile picture from Facebook to Spotify automatically. Did this help?

Install https certificate on OCUM server appliance 6.2

I tried to install certificated in PEM format on ocum 6.2 Appliance.The following message appears though certificate chaine is integrated in file."a valid full certificate chain from the host certificate to the certificate authority's certificate must be provided." Hey Francois, I am not a OCUM guy, but I know a thing or two about PKI. That error message basically is saying that you are trying to install a host cert into a system, but that system's certificate store does NOT trust the signing authority that the host cert was signed by. Windows has its own cert store, but applications may have their own - I am an OCI SE, and OCI has its own java keystore that by default has a self-signed cert in it to support SSL. You may need to first install the signing certificate authority's public cert into OCUM before the host cert. Most serious certificate deployments involve an offline root authority, and the day to day certificates are signed by intermediate certificate authorities. You may need to install both the intermedia CA certs, as well as the root CA cert (if the root is not already trusted), before installing the host cert. Question about HTTP Server and 9iAS

I am kind of new to Oracles 9is products. I installed Oracle 9i Rel. 2 recently and it installed HTTP Server and other stuff as part of that install. I am trying to write a small web application. Is this install good enough to do basic servlet's, jsp's and may be EJB's etc ... or do I need to install 9iAS. I am confused on the fact that I know 9iAS will give me j2ee container, web container, clustering, etc ..., what functionality is included in the 9i databases web server piece.
Also, can anyone point me to a good documentation that explains directory structure of 9i Rel. 2. I am familiar with the database part fairly well(oracle 7 release). However, I am confused as to new web related stuff (Apache, bc4j, etc..) in 9i Rel. 2.

No, you cannot run EJB's in the Apache installation. For that you might want to download OC4J.
Basic Http pages and Servlets can run but I dont think it is advisable to use it for that. For any kind of development, I would suggest you to use OC4J.
Oracle9i Database is web enabled and you can access the table, etc.. from a browser too. This is the reason Apache is provided with the basic installation. Oracle9i Rel 2 has XML DB in it which again can be accessed from the Web.

Install Http Server in ORACLE 10g 10.2.0.3

Hi, before i had Oracle XE 10.2.0.1 and Apex 3.2 both worked ok. Now remove Oracle XE and APEX 3.2 and then installed ORACLE 10g 10.2.0.3 and Apex 4.0, but when i try to login to apex http://server:8080/pls/apex/apex_admin the login page not appears.
Before run apex with OC4J from developer suite 10g, but now i need to install some particular http server with the companion cd or something like that.
I guess i have to install http server and xml database from companion cd but which option have to choose.

Pl post details of your OS. If you installed 10.2.0.3, you will also need to install the HTTP server from the companion CD.

Since installing os x and appletv my wireless network changes

my wireless connection worked fine until installed os x and connected my appletv...my orginal setting was configured to linksys....now i can only connect to my network by changing to apple network 3107c. So what you have been doing is using your neighbor's internet connection and not your own. That means your neighbor - if they realized what was going on - could have accessed your Apple TV and any computers you have connected to their wireless network if they wanted to.
You need to set up your network properly so that all your computers and your Apple TV connect to your own wireless network currently called "apple network 3107c". You should also implement wireless security on your network - preferably using the WPA or WPA2 protocol and a password.
And finally - you need to try to improve the quality of your own wireless network's signal.

first you would need to install the required certificates to the phone by using pc suite or memory card. Then at the office scan for the wifi networks and creat access point for your company's wifi. After access point is created, go to it's security settings and configure needed EAP settings for it. How to configure EAP depends on what EAP type your company's wifi is using.

unfortunately the do_not_trust certificates might be a sign of unwanted software present on your pc that is intercepting secure network traffic. please go into the system control panel and uninstall programs like BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, SafeGuard or other software that sounds suspicious and didn't get installed by you intentionally.

Try to rename the file cert8.db to cert8.db.old in the Firefox Profile Folder to remove all intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored by visiting secure websites. 
If that helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed file cert8.db.old unless you have user certificates that you may want to export first and import them in the new file. 
Otherwise you can restore the certificates by renaming (copying) the file back to cert8.db 
Firefox will automatically store new intermediate certificates when you visit websites that send them.
