Install iCloud backup from iPhone 4 6.1.3 to new iPhone 5 6.0.1 won't work.
I'm trying to install my icloud backup from my iPhone 4 os 6.1.3 to my new iPhone 5 os 6.0.1.
When I put in my iCloud info into my iPhone 5, it tells me that no backups are compatible with the iOS of the new phone.
What can I do to get the iCloud backup on my phone (the iTunes backup dates back to septembre 2012 so it's not an option).
Thank you!
Upgrade your iphone 5 to the newest IOS. Then you can restore using the iphone 4 backup.

How can I restore my latest iCloud backup from my iPhone 4 to my new iPhone 5?
How can I use the my latest iCloud backup from my iPhone 4 to update all my apps on my new iPhone 5? I just registered it and it is a later version of the backup. Can I reboot it now that I have a more current backup from my iPhone 4?
Restoring to an iCloud backup has to be done in the initial setup process. If you have already set up your iPhone 5 you will have to erase it and go back through the setup again. If you have any data on your phone now that is not in the backup that you are restoring to you'll need to do that first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. You will then go through the setup screens as you did when the phone was new. When given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish.

My icloud backup from iphone 4 abnormal size. What is using that space?
My icloud backup from iphone 4 uses 2,9GB of data even with all backup of apps are set to off including camera roll. I have tried to delete the backup a few times to no awail as the new backup is as large as before. I have an Ipad that only uses 700mb approx same settings but with most of the apps syncing.
Both the phone and the ipad have some 300apps on them but since we arent syncing the actual apps i guess it doesnt matter.
Mail sync off
Contact sync on
Calendar sync on
Reminders sync on
Bookmarks sync on
Notes sync off
Photo stream on
Documents and data off
Find my iphone on
The above are the same for both phone and ipad and should not be affecting total backup size?
Best Regards
Mr.RiwaBeing able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.
Alternatively, if you delete your existing iCloud back up and start the back up again, the next back up will be the same size as the phone tells you is needed to perform that back up. -
I am trying to do an iCloud backup from my computer. I have been unable to do a backup from a wifi as I keep getting message that it cannot be completed. What is the secret to doing this from my computer, with my iphone plugged into same?
How are you trying to do it from your computer? Try plugging it into your charger while connected to wifi, then either lock the screen and wait (it should backup up ever 24 hours) or go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and tap Back Up Now.

Just got an iPad mini 3 and have not reset my iPad mini 3; is that why the photos from iCloud backup are not showing up in the new iPad?
Sorry, don't know what you are asking. You have an old iPad Mini 3 and a new iPad Mini 3? How did you set up the new iPad? Did you restore it from a backup of the old iPad? What photos are you not seeing?
Cheers,

Using Itunes, I copied all my apps from my Ipod touch to a new Iphone 4. Problem is all the apps on the Iphone are starting up like a new install. I would think my "password" app and "lose it" app would have the past data transferred to the Iphone. Is this not possible??

When I have iCloud Backup ON, the battery runs down on my iphone really really quickly. Is there any way of avoiding this. I want to backup my iphone but don't want to be recharging all day. Many thanks
Are you sure the iCloud backup is causing this? Unless you initiate an iCloud backup manually, it will only back up once per day when the phone is connected to your charger and wi-fi and has the screen locked. It shouldn't otherwise be consuming any power.

I recently changed my apple ID but my previous apple ID is associated with my icloud account. I'm setting up my new iphone 6 and cannot complete the set up until I can sync my icloud account. Does anyone know how to change the icloud id?
Do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iPhone and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your phone). -
How do i transfer my content from my android phone to my new iphone 5
How do i transfer my content from my android phone to my new iphone 5 thanks
sync the old android phone content to google like contacts. Then sync the new iPhone 5 to google using the carddav protocol. Google has some great tutorials for seting up the accounts.

Additional way is if its already on the google.com cloud service. Search iPhone App Store for "MobileTrans contacts".
Or go on iCloud.com then sign up and click on the cogwheel for options. I believe it has import contacts. -

How do i change my iCloud email from an old email to a new email?
If you already enable the iCloud mail you can't change it.
If you don't, you can choose a username for your @icloud.com account. -

Hello brjdunn,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
You are able to change your Apple ID by following the instructions below. That way you will still have access to all of your previous purchases:

How to transfert my SMS from my old Android to my new iPhone ?
Hi,
All is in the title : How to transfert my SMS from my old Android to my new iPhone ?
Is here an app to do this ??
I'm in iOS 8.2 and my Android 4.4
Thanks.You can't
I'm sorry, but the iPhone can only build a new conversation, no import of another platform.
Archive the old conversations on your computer and reference if needed. That's the best I've got.

Oracle XSU class oracle.xml.sql.dataset.OracleXMLDataSetExtJdbc bug
