Install JAR on iSeries

Hi.
I have developed a small Java application (Use from SAP XI), with the main functionality to Load a Tif image into a PDF page.
The application uses the jai_imageio library and works fine on a Windows Server Platform.
But how do I install/deploy the jai_imageio file on a iSeries Server?
Any Ideas?

But the problem is still on the phone.
Wha can´t I install any JAR on the MMC - HELP

In the case of mig33.jar if you have downloaded zip file to your PC, there are three versions included and you are presumably using the version below:
mig33 V 3.02 Beta (signed) has the complete feature set (with profiles and picture sharing on the mobile). Generally this is compatible with phones that are Java MIDP 2.0 and above. This version is signed as a trusted application and some mobile phones prefer this version.
Firstly go to Application Manager > Options > Settings and set "Online Certificate check" = OFF and Software Installation = ALL
I hope that changing Software installation = ALL may help you with this issue.

Unable to install jar files in my nokia n73

Hi guys
Last month i did a software update and after that i am not able to install jar files in my n73.when installation it's almost complete shows the message "Unable to install".I have even tried to install the applications by extracting the jar files by Win RAR and editing theMANIFEST.MF file.I have done the following edition
1)MicroEdition-Profile: MIDP-2.0
2)MicroEdition-Configuration: CLDC-1.1
Anyway still the result is zero.Please help me.It is really necessary for me to install some of the java applications

Problem in installing jar on Websphere

I am using Websphere and I took some sample code from this server and putted home,remote interfaces ,bean class and deployment descriptor from their samples in C:\EJB.This sample code is a calculator .I created jar file by issuing following command from c prompt:
C:\>jar cf test1.jar EJB\*.class EJB\ejb-jar.xml(My home,remote and bean class files are in C:\EJB and ejb-jar.xml(deployment descriptor) is also in same directory)
Here is my ejb-jar.xml:(When I try to install test1.jar on websphere then it gives error).

What is the error? You need to put your class files in a package. ejb-jar.xml should be located in META-INF.

How to install .jar/.jad Files without MS Windows?

it would have been nice if Nokia would also think of non-MS-Windows users....
I have downloaded a software package from nokia.com, it consists of two files: a *.jar file and a *.jad file, How can i install them on my phone without Nokia Suite? I copied the files now to my microSD card in the phone. Can I just select the files? Does the phone detect these are programs that can be installed?

Okay, I have now copied the two files to the phone and tried to open it,the phone says "incompatible program". But i correctly selected 3600 as my phone when I downloaded it, i talk about the "Download!" tool i want to install.

no worries, Radical24 and I are happy to help. i don't know exactly how that works, or the techincalities behind it, i know that even if you download other applications such as Windows Live or even games, then they install without needing to bypass through a PC. must be complicated though to research to do on your own, i know its too much trouble for me, so i just use PC suite to do it.

Installing jars and classes

I just started learning Java (I used books like "Teach yourself java 2 in 24 hours", "Teach yourself java in 21 days", "Teach yourself object oriented programming in 21 days", etc.), but there are still some things that prevent me from succeeding. I have programmed in PHP, Javascript and StarBasic before.
I'm testing some Swing component. I wanted to use a JFormattedTextField with a MaskFormatter over it. But it seems that I don't have the class installed.
My Code

How can I check if the class is installed? I use a Linux deriviant Kubuntu. I looked at /usr/share/java/ , where I find a lot of jars, but none applicable. How do I even know what my classpath is?

I use Sun Java 6. This compiles without error for me:

Can´t install JAR on SD-Card

High,
when thrying to install any JAR on my 5800 a mistake like "can not install" at the end of the installation process appears when trying to install it on the SD-Card (E).
When installing on the phone memory (C) no problem occurs.
I changed also the SD-Card to a new one, because i supposed a mistake on the SD-card, but also with the new SD-card, it is not possible to install any JAR.
Is there any solution or workaround for such a problem before making a Hardreset ?

again people respond with the wrong help info. You simply need the PARAGON NTFS DRIVER FOR MAC. gives you full read and write support from your mac side to your bootcsamp side. You will always be able to read your mac side contents from your bootcamp side and also copy from mac to bootcamp while in windows mode. But buy the paragon ntfs $20 driver and you will be fine. Ive had it for years without any problems. works perfectly and easily. It also allows you to verify and repair your bootcamp partition from within disk utility on your mac side.

Invalid file while installing jar to motorazr v3i

I have simple midp application which print helloworld and working fine on enumerator.
this is creted in netbeans.
So i have copy my jar file which is generated by running application in netbeans.
jar file is in this floder
C:\Documents and Settings\sai\My Documents\NetBeansProjects\bhavin\dist
when i install this on my motorazr v3i phone it says me invalid file.
can anyone here help me to get out of this problem???

You probably have the wrong MIDP setting in Netbeans. It's default setting is MIDP 2.1, but most phones only support 2.0. Right-click on the properties of the project and select MIDP2.0 and recompile.

N95 Not possible to install JAR files

Hello,
I've got a problem with my N95.
In fact, when I try to install java games or applications (.JAR files), the phone seems to try the installation but after a while, the progression bar freeze and nothing else happen...
I don't get any error message, the JAR file just doesn't install so I'm very sad with this new bug :'(
Is there a way to purge or erase old bad installations on the phone ?

N95 is java enabled phone one can install any java apps or games, but the hitch is it should be design or tested to run on this phone because of resolutions, screen size etc. This applies to other Nokia java enabled phone not in particular N95.
If the app is not listed in the applicattion mgr since its a failed installation, you can used 3rd party file browser & look for the apps & other files associated with it & you can delete it.
Knowledge not shared is knowledge wasted!
