Install Older versions with adobe cloud

Hello, I have and adobe cloud plan. I need to install an older version of photoshop (CS5.5), because I have important plugins that doesn't work with CS6. How can I download and install photoshop CS 5.5? Is it possible to do that with my plan?

Simply install your old CS5.5 as a standalone based on your serial. Creative Cloud doesn't care about it. Downloads of legacy versions can be obtained using this method:

Before installing an older FP version you must completely uninstall your current version.
download the unistaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
close all browser windows and run the downloaded uninstaller
restart Windows
delete any remaining files in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash or C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash (64-bit)
install the old FP version

Go into your CC Desktop app: Find new apps, change "All" to "Previous Version".
Click on Install next to Photoshop and CS6 will be an option.

Using older versions with creative cloud versions

I know you don't have to uninstall previous versions of the adobe products in order to run the creative cloud cs6 versions... but I was wondering what were the pros/cons of keeping both versions on your computer? Is it the best idea to uninstall any cs5 applications or is the best idea to keep them both?

It totally depends on you, how you want to keep it.
If you wish to keep CS 5 along with CS 6, you can do that without any issues.
The softwares like Acrobat/Reader, would ask you to uninstall the previous versions before you can install the latest version.

But all the books I have bought over the last three years are in the old Adobe Digital and I cannot access them any more. When I use it I get the message "that the document is licensed to a different account. I can't even open the books on my computer.
When I go to my Kobo library, I cannot also not open my books and get the message "this doc is protected by adobe digital rights management and is not currently authorized for use with your adobe. please sign in with your authorized adobe id and try again"
I believe the problem is that I do not seem to have a digital id for my old adobe or that the Kobo is not in sync with it anymore.

Yes, your fonts are locked. This is a known issue with different older versions of Adobe products if they are mixed. You need to take ownership and set their permissions to full access. There is some article on it in the knowledge base, but you might just as well do a web search on a more generic level about such procedures. 9.0 is Reader 9.0. When you open this folder, it has different folders with the respective languages.
For US English go to the folder 'enu'
9.5.5 is the latest patch for Reader 9.0
You need to install the patches in a sequence as specified in the KB: Update, patch | Acrobat, Reader 7.x - 9.x | Windows

Actually i uninstalled the existing version of Flash Player from my Windows 8 PC, but when i tried to install the older version, it was not allowing me to install and was showing that my browser is included with latest version.

What is the correct way to call older version of Adober Reader? Specifically version 8? Acrobar Reader 8 or Adober Reader 8? Is is necessary to include "Reader"? We are creating a form and are adding instructions that it works with version 8 and newer. We want to make sure it is worded correctly!

When you "Save as" and you select the "compatibility with" for older versions, the document will be compatible with whatever version you choose, be it 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or higher. If you want to "test it", you'll need a computer with Reader 8 installed, but I've never seen the "Save as" make something that was incompatible with the version it was saving for.
