Install on weblogic
Please help. I am trying to do a cfmx 7 j2ee server install
on weblogic 8.1 on windows, a 2nd instance, but the install doesn't
see it as a web server, it sees apache and iplanet, no weblogic
(and from what I understand it is using its own built in web
server)... has anyone had this issue? The instructions on adobe
say...follow wizard instructions... lol, nice!
Thanks,
Va.
Okay, now I am really feelng dumb, I am trying to do this
install and I can't get an J2EE option for the install. I tried and
it just did a full install, I tried walking through the wizard
again, but nothing that I see gives me the option...
Thanks and sorry if I am just missing something really
simple!

Eclipse Indigo JEE M7 could not install Oracle Weblogic Server Tools
Hi,
Anyone managed to install Oracle Weblogic Server Tools plugins on Eclipse Indigo JEE M7?
It appears that Oracle Weblogic Server Tools depends on EMF Core 2.6 while Indigo JEE M7 packages EMF Core 2.7.
Will the Oracle Weblogic Server Tools be updated at http://download.oracle.com/otn_software/oepe/indigo/wtp/ to have same EMF core dependency as Eclipse Indigo?
Thanks !The current tech preview release of OEPE for Indigo is targeted at Indigo M6. It looks like component versions changed in M7, making the current tech preview incompatible with M7. The official support for Indigo will ship in early to mid July.

Hi all,
Can anybody refer me to any documents or links which contain information about
automated install of weblogic, my system uses ant and i want to carry out these thing
1) weblogic setup
2) creating domain
3) starting server
4) Stopping server
5) running Junit tests
Thank you
Regards,
BhanuThe key to most of this is the [WebLogic Scripting Tool|http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs103/config_scripting/domains.html] .
However, points 1 and 5 are outside the scope of that. I assume by "weblogic setup" you mean the installation of the Weblogic distribution itself? There's information about that here .
Concerning point 5, that has nothing to do with WebLogic. There are JUnit Ant tasks for this. -

Sending notifications from BPEL installed on Weblogic Server
We have SOA Suite installed on the Weblogic server. For the SOA Suite installation, we did a base installation of OC4J 10.1.3.4, and then installed Weblogic server 9.2 on top of it.
The problem is with the notifications. I created a simple process to generate notifications. Before doing that, I modified the NS_EMAILS.xml file for the Host and Port. I have done this before so I know what should be the values. Then I bounced both the Weblogic and OC4J servers.
When I run the process, the notification is not generated. Do I need to do some additional steps to make it work for Weblogic?
The ns_emails.xml file is located in product/10.1.3/bpel/system/services/config directory. Here is the portion of ns_emails.xml file that I have modified. Also, I can send the email from telnet and it works just fine.
<EmailAccounts xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/ias/pcbpel/NotificationService"

<SMTPPort>25</SMTPPort>Thanks guys,
I cannot see anything in the logs. It does show the email message (Like the email to information, subject etc), but no errors after that.
Does any of you guys tried it with the weblogic server? As I stated earlier, I have done it for two different clients on OC4J and it works fine.
I will check the metalink note. Thanks for the advice. -

IDM install of weblogic on solaris t200 very slow
Folks
Has anyone installed weblogic or IDM solution on solaris T2000. The startup and responses are very slow. It takes 20 minutes to bring up the admin server and soa server with the base services starts up in over 40 minutes. Bottom line unusable.
Config:
Soalris 10
Jrockit: 1.6
Weblogic and IDM Suite latest dot 5 release
Is there something obvious we are missing.... Any suggestions recommendations???
The same config on linux is blazing but that is not our environment.....
Thanks
MILook up metalink Oracle has mentioned that there is a problem with T200 and the combination of weblogic/soa and other servers with no solution... They suggest T4000 as the starting point....

OSB installed in WebLogic 12C - when it will be supported
As I believed that OSB is nothing more than a webaplication with specific tables in Oracle database I imagined that I could try to install OSB in WebLogic12C. Maybe I am telling a stupid thing because I can see that after installed OSB, there is a specific new server on WebLogic console.
Anyway, even if it was right, there a huge difference between I installed locally to test and I confirmed to do this without comercial support. Then, my question is: Is there some prediction about OSB, OER, OSR (SOA tools) be supported in WebLogic 12C? The more important for me is OSB.
Other question is: is there some prediction about new version of OSB? If so, this probably will work by default at weblogic 12c.Anyway, even if it was right, there a huge difference between I installed locally to test and I confirmed to do this without comercial supportYou are correct. As Abhishek has already mentioned, OSB is not merely a web-app and it is tightly integrated with Weblogic app server. So there is no meaning putting any effort to try to get it work on Weblogic 12c.
Is there some prediction about OSB, OER, OSR (SOA tools) be supported in WebLogic 12C? The more important for me is OSB.It is too early to talk about 12c but yes, all these products will be part of OFMW 12c.
Other question is: is there some prediction about new version of OSB? If so, this probably will work by default at weblogic 12c.The next version of OSB will be 11g R1 patch set 6 (11.1.1.7) and hence it will only be certified with Weblogic 10.3.7

I guess I don't understand...
I have Oracle 9iAS 1.0.2.2.2 for Windows NT. I am trying to migrate various Access databases into Oracle. I downloaded the Migration Workbench and installed it. It now is looking for plug-ins... Obviously I don't understand... where do I find these?

Anyone use Logic in a school Lab environment
If so, what do you use to secure the dongle so students don't walk off with it?? Anything home made or commercial?? Thanks Mark L

I-tunes is starting every 10 minutes
since yesterday i-tunes is starting every 10 minutes, shutting it down helps for 10 minutes, then it starts right up again. I find it very annoying since I use i-tunes once a week normally.
