Install Problem - Operating System Not Supported

I'm trying to re install an Officejet 8500 onto the same computer it was installed and working for years. I get the following error message:
The Operating System on this computer is not supported.
Curent OS: 601.64
My operting system is Win 7 64 bit.
I have restarted the computer numerous times and the instll program numerous times.

I understand when trying to install your HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One Printer on your Windows 7 64 bit Operating System you are getting the message that the "Current OS: 601.64 is not supported". I would like to assist you today with resolving this issue. Usually the error is triggered by a faulty installer package, or the installer package for the wrong bit Operating System being run. Therefore, I will be running you through some steps to reinstall this printer. However, I will need to you clarify which HP Officejet 8500 series printer you have?
(1) HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One Printer A909 series
(2) HP Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One Printer A910 series
In the meantime, please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Uninstall Device:
It is crucial to have a clean slate to work with for troubleshooting. Therefore, I am going to have you ensure that every trace of your printer has been removed from your computer prior to resolving this issue.
Click on your Start menu
Select All Programs
Select the HP folder
Select your HP Officejet
Select Uninstall
Please follow any onscreen prompts to complete the uninstall. Once the uninstall is complete please proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Clear Temp Files:
Click on your Start menu
In the 'search programs and files' box located right above Start type %temp% and hit enter on your keyboard
When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will now highlight.
Select the 'delete' button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains temporary internet files. No actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting the Temp files. Should a Temp file still be used than you will automatically get the pop up to 'skip' that item.
Close the Temp folder once it is emptied
Right click the Recycling Bin on your desktop and select Empty Recycling Bin
Step 3: Install Device:
If you're using the HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One A909a Printer please click here to download the correct Full Feature driver package.
If you're using the HP Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One A910a Printer please click here to download the correct Full Feature driver package.
Should you be using the wireless version of the HP Officejet 8500 series, a different installer package may be required.

Operating system not supported for installing ALM trail version on a windows 7

My mahine has windows 7 64bit operating system and 8GB Ram but when I am trying to install intall ALM 12.2 it says This machines' operating system is not a supported and recommended ALM (12.20) server.

You need to update your version of XP to SP2. You can do this for free at microsofts website or by using windows update.

BlackBerry Media Sync - Operating system not supported ?

I downloaded BB Media Sync & when I went to install it came up with error message that the operating system was not supported. According to requirements listed, I meet ALL the criteria. Below is the info on my computer & Curve. If anyone can help I will be grateful.

I have an almost identical setup for both PC and Desktop 4.5. I am with Verizon, but I don't see that affecting anything.
I know it's pretty basic, but have you removed the software through setting on the PC and tried downloading and reinstalling?

As much as I can see over the net, AOL do not use the 110 port so you might use a wwrong server details?
Try using the following settings and check if that helps:
POP server: pop.aol.com.
POP login: [email protected]
POP password: your AOL email password.
POP port: 995.
SSL required: yes

The first problem is you have WMP on the computer roll it back and install WMP0 if you updated from 0 to just roll it back making sure to remove the WMP runtime from the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS (have it set to show all updates) so you can find it. If you used the trial version successfully, you don't need to re-install the "real" version. Just activate the trial version using your serial number or Adobe ID.

Operating system not supported

I can't download illustrator because it says i'm running on an operating system that is no longer supported. I updated my software to mac os x 10.6.8 and cleared out memory. Any idea what else i can do? I really need to downlaod illustrator for some homework.

this indicates that OS 10.7 (lion) is the minimum supported now for Illustrator CC.
10.7,10.8, and 10.9 are paid updates. you can't just download them from software updater if you have 10.6.

Ah, yes, then you're one of the few people who come here who've done that who have a reason. The average person who has trouble resulting from this just randomly chose that option when formatting (lots of people think they won't be able to use capital letters in file names if they don't). Unfortunately, just for future reference, I believe this is a problem with all adobe products. I know it's the same with Photoshop.

Normally that means the hard drive failed.
I know it was replaced but maybe the replacement drive went out too.
There is a hard drive diagostics tool your daughter can run in the BIOS.
I suggest she run it (enter the BIOS by tapping the F10 key as soon as she sees the HP welcome screen).
Then once in the BIOS, there should be a diagnostics menu..one for memory and one for the hard drive.
She should select the hard drive diagnostics application and see what it reports.
Then go from there based on what is reported.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I saw your post regarding the Boot Device not Found error message. This HP document Resolve Boot Device not Found Error Message will show you how to reset your BIOS. This will force the BIOS the look at the hardware and it might see your new hard drive. Another reason that it might not be seeing the hard drive is because there is no bootable operating system on the hard drive. You might need to look at taking it out and installing an operating system on it via another computer.

It sounds like you are trying to upgrade your Mac to a newer version of OS X, after completing a fresh install of Snow Leopard.
If you have already purchased and downloaded OS X Lion and Mavericks, you should be able to find these items in the Purchased section of the Mac App Store.

More details:
No bios upgrade was made, never, only a big updating of Windows yesterday.

The above error message shows that the Hard disk drive is failed on your unit. You have to replace the Hard disk drive and reinstall the OS.
