Install Problems Elements 9 Premier
Hello,
I just downloaded the trial versions of Elements 9 and Premier 9 from the Adobe site. When I click the Install icon I get a message "You can't open the application "Install" because it is not supported on this architecture" Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ron
Hello, rkd56. What kind of computer do you have, and what version of your operating system?
Are you sure you're not trying to install the mac version in windows, or trying to install PSE 9 on a power pc mac, like a G5?

How do I install Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements on a new hard drive?
My hard drive had to be replaced and Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements were not de-activated and unistalled before the hard drive was replaced. I have my original downloaded install programs and serial numbers. Thank You.
Simply install the programs. Contact support if you need to reset activation count. No magic involved beyond that.

Doesn't matter if you got it on disk or downloaded.
You've purchased a serial number and, in your case, got a disc and box as added extras.
You can always download the trial version from the Adobe website with any browser and activate that with your serial number.

Install problem Elements 6.0 for Mac
Hi
I know this version of the program works since I loved the trial. Waited too long to buy it, and now it's not offered since Adobe only has 8.0. So bought one on eBay. I got started on setup before I got this JavaScript Alert: Critical errors were found in setup - incompatible payloads already installed Please see the Setup log for details.
I'm clueless ... have no idea where to find the setup log, for starters. Any ideas on where to find this or what the overall problem is?No, not out of luck, just in for a little more complicated installation experience than usual. Go download this, run it, and then delete everything you can find from PSE 6, especially from Hard drive>library>application support, and from your username>library>preferences. Note that the first file path is the hard drive at the top level of your hard drive, not your username>library or system>library.

Premier Elements install problem
Hi, I've downloaded Premier Elements but I can't work out how to initialise installation (just downloaded and installed Photoshop elements with no problems) I can access the zipped files but no idea what to do to get it to start the install as previously it did it automatically.... Any help would be very much appreciated!
Frances if the installer is not opening automatically then you will want to go to your User folder which contains the installation files and run the installer manually. By default the installation files are saved to your User folder. You were given the option to choose the location to download the files too. If you chose a different location then the download will be located in that location.

I purchased PS Elements and Premier Elements through Academic Superstore as a download on Aug. 8, 2014. I am installing on a MAC Book Pro 10.9.4, and have tried reinstalling 3 times. I also searched the error messages on support and could not find the error I am getting. Every time I am able to open the Elements file will open and work, but the Premier file has a window pop up that says: The Following disk images couldn't be opened: Image - PremiereElements_12_WWEFDJ.dmg Reason - image not recognized. Does anyone have a solution?

Elements 13 and Premier Elements 13 install problems
I downloaded (after purchasing) both Elements 13 and Premier Elements 13. When I ran the installer it prompted me whether I purchased or a trial. I chose purchase and then it asked me to sign in, which I did using prper credentials and the application just sat and spun around for 20 minutes doing nothing... reslt I could not install either product. Please help. Thanks.

What's error 1 in adobe photoshop elements configuration? I have a computer with W Vista 8, Windows office home and business 2013. You haven't mentioned which version of PSE. If it is PSE 13, that requires a minimum of windows 7.

Problem with installing Photoshop elements 9 and adobe support advisor
Hi, I've received a graphic tablet with 2 programs: the first has been downloaded and works perfectly while the second, PSE9, has been giving me problems for at least a week!
I downloaded it and now I have a winzip file full of strange things (one of this is set up exe which tells me that I have to install adobe support advisor) and two files which said 3DF.tmp and PSEP9(1).zip.download and if I try to click them they tell me that I have to find on the Net the program to open them because I can't. And I don't know which program is required.
I tried a lot of times to download the adobe support advisor, I have enough space on my disc and my farewall is deactivated, but when the program begins I saw this annoyant message

Did you try the steps listed in http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-error-messages-b ootstrapper-cs5.html which was identified by the Adobe Support Advisor? If so can you please list each step and the result of those steps. This will allow us to best advise you on your next steps.

Has anyone had a problem installing PSE Elements 8.
I have installed PSE Elements 8 from a new boxed CD onto a new Dell running Windows 7 Professional (64 Bit).
PSE has loaded without any warnings and I get to the welcome screen OK. Organiser works fine but if I try and start Edit it just circles around back to the Edit prompt. I have tried getting in via Fix in Organiser which then advises Loading Elements workspace but then drops me back to menu.
I have tried all the Tech Note suggestions but after hours of trying am still no further forward.
I even downloaded and installed the trial version but I this performs in the same way.
All suggestions welcome. ThanksNo luck.
PE Editor does not open with Ctrl/Alt/Shift nothing...zilch
Running PE Editor from this point using Open produces error message. PE Elements has stopped working - Close Program.

The only other suggestion is try re-setting the Editor preferences as this often fixes conflicts. You will also be able to check that this part of the application installed correctly.
Hold down the windows key to the left of Alt and press the letter E to launch Explorer
In the left side pane click on Computer
In the right pane double click on Program Files, then double click Adobe, then double click Photoshop Elements 8.0
Use the right hand scroll bar to move down the list of files and locate Photoshop Elements Editor With one hand holding down all three keys CtrlShiftAlt right click on the Editor file in the list and select open.
You should see a pop up box with the words Delete Adobe Photoshop Elements Settings File?
Click on Yes
Close down Elements and re-open it in the normal way.
Please let us know if that works.

Problems installing Adobe Elements 4.0
Wow, do I love my Macbook Pro. No waiting to order it. Got it 3 weeks ago at the Apple Store. No noise, no problem installing my old files .etc.
However, tonight I tried to install Adobe Elements 4 two times. Both times at the last seconds of installing I get a message to try installing again. Is this a known issue with intel Macs? Or do I have defective software?

733 Power Mac Mac OS X (10.4.1)is it best I pair the upgrade and just put another 512 MB in second slot, or can I put 1 or 2 gig in that slot and get dual channel performance?
That's a good question which often leads to a lot of debate. Most benchmarks show the effect of dual channel is minimal, probably because with most applications memory is not the bottleneck, other sub-systems like the hard drive or graphics are.
It really depends on what you're going to do with the computer: if a lot of Elements 4 work under Rosetta with many windows open etc. I think you'd be well served by going to 2GBs of RAM. If intensive use like that will be minimal, and mostly you're going to "iLife it up," e-mail, surfing, etc. then you'd probably be happy adding another 512MB. Over time as more programs go Universal the overhead imposed by Rosetta will be less & less of an issue.
When shopping be sure to check out OWC (Other World Computing) for their pricing on genuine Samsung memory (I'm not a fan of their "no name" brand). Apple uses a lot of Samsung itself, as well as Micron which you can buy from Crucial.com. Others will have their own favorites to recommend, of course. -
I am trying to install Adobe Premiere Elements 9 without success. I successfully installed Photoshop Elements 9 without a problem. The message I am getting is 'Invalid Unicode file - .\Autoplay\LangData\en_US\lang.dat'. Anyone out there who can help please?

Im trying to install Photoshop Elements premier 12 on my new Mac with the latest update and i keep getting the same failed to initialise message. I was able to register the key code at first but now im not able to either open the program or reinstall it.
What is "Photoshop Elements Premier 12"? Do you mean Photoshop Elements or Premiere Elements? Were your files copied over from a previous mac that had PSE installed on it?

Installing Elements 10 + Premier Elements 10
I just bought Photoshop Elements 10 + Premier Elements 10. The installation asks me which I want to install. Do I install both or does installing Premier 10 include Elements 10?
Install both. They are separate applications but share integration through the Organizer. If you have the boxed version read the small print on the disks, which include Windows, Windows 64 bit and Mac OSX.
When both programs are successfully installed you can install the SD and HD content which is used by Premiere Elements.
