Install pse 11 invalid serial number

I'm trying to reinstall photoshop elements 11 but the serial number that the tech support guy gave me is not a valid serial number to reauthorize my account. Any ideas to get photoshop back on my computer?

I did as instructed above and got the same result as the interaction with the previous tech support person i dealt with. This is not a valid serial number according to Adobe. The serial number I used is: 111057-4472-2919-6634-0166-9448. This number was issued to me by one of your tech support people. I tried it as is, I tried it with no dashes. I tried to copy/ paste and I hand keyed it in. This serial number is no good. Issue me another serial number. Or give me a credit so I can just buy it again. As of right now I am done wasting my time doing the exact same thing as the last tech support person instructed me to do. RESOLVE MY ISSUE TODAY. This should not be this hard and waste this much of my time. I have paid for your product, re-issue me this product.

Error installing Acrobat.pro (Invalid serial number??)

I have a DVD set Adobe creative Suite 5 design standard which consist with 2 DVD for Design Standard and one (1) DVD for Adobe Acrobat 9 PRO (all Windows version)

I have checked the serial number you have provided and it looks like a Volume Serial number to me. There are mainly two reasons why this error might pop up :
1) You are using the installer for a Retail product and using the volume serial number as that combination do not work.
2) You have a stand alone installer for Acrobat and not a suite installer.
I would request you to kindly navigate back to the licensing website and go to Licenses>Downloads and search for the download link for the Creative Suite 5 and then download Acrobat again. This should resolve the concern that you have.

Re-installing Master Collection invalid serial number

I am re-installing My adobe master collection on my new computer but the serial number that I have on my old computer (Connected to my Adobe account) is coming up as invalid. I de-activated and uninstalled the software on my old PC before trying this. Need help please.

if you followed all the steps, what did the adobe support person say when you contacted them?
p.s. if you have a license for cs6 master collection, using the cs6 master collection installation files should install and activate no matter what language is used.

Hi, I had a similar issue on Sat Pro A200 PSAE7E. wrote to Toshiba support and got the following reply (in July) - never heard from them again but the older Canadian version worked for me:

Acrobat XI Invalid Serial Number After Failed Install

Hello,
We currently have Adobe Acrobat XI on an enterprise license. I went to install this on 3 of our Windows 7 tablets. Prior to my attempt, I removed Adobe Reader XI which is what I always do. After that I started the installer on the machine and entered the key just fine. All 3 tablets got stuck around 96-97% and failed with an error 1935. I then followed the instructions located here:

Following a reboot, I tried to install again and now I am receiving the "Invalid Serial Number" error when trying to click "Next" on the installer. It won't even let me choose install trial and go. The next button does nothing when selecting trial. I tried running the offical Adobe Acrobat Cleaner and the Adobe CS6 cleaner (since Acrobat XI is part of CS6 technically). Both programs found items to delete but following a reboot I'm still receiving the same error. I also have other XI enterprise serials available and none of them work. I have a feeling something happened on the tablets that is causing the installer to think it's the wrong version or type for those serial numbers.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Invalid serial number error message when installing Acrobat 7

I have my original software CD and serial number but understand that I need to use the downloaded program because Adobe no longer supports the activation code required for installing from the disc. I was under the impression that I was to use the original serial number. This is what I used when reinstalling my CS2 Photoshop in the same circumstances.
I downloaded 22001904.exe and ran it but when it gets to the serial number I receive invalid serial number message no matter how I enter the number. I even tried cutting and pasting from my Adobe profile, since I have registered the program w/ Adobe previously along with other Adobe programs.
Can you advise me how to proceed?

I purchased a new Box retail version of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 12 and before installing I am asked for the Serial Number. I enter it from the box but I get a message that says it is invalid serial number. How can that be if that is what is on the Box.

Hi Everyone,
I was able to solve it myself and in way should have provided more information. I was installing the software under the local Admin which in my Domain does not have internet access through our Proxy.
Once I logged on with my Domain Admin and tried to install the software, it worked with out problems. I was not aware that the computer needed access to the Internet to verify the Serial Number.

I see that the number in my Adobe Account is a MAC serial number – I purchased both the Mac and Windows versions of the program. I tried to enter the serial number of the Windows version into my account and it says it’s already registered. Today I went from Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 tryouts to the purchased boxed versions that came with two installation discs. One of the discs was for Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 Windows and the other for these versions on Mac.
On Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit desktop computer, I was hit with Invalid Serial Number for the installation of Photoshop Elements 12 which I did first. Tried 4X, double and triple checking to make sure this was not "user error". It was not. On the 5th try, the purchased serial number was accepted and the installation went to a successful completion.
Tonight a friend alerted me to reports of similar happening for a lot of Photoshop Elements 12 Mac users. See the link posted at the top of my post.
At no time did I see this problem with Premiere Elements 12 installation from the same disc as for Photoshop Elements 12 installation.
Afterward, I installed these programs with the same installation disc on my laptop computer Windows 8 64 bit, I did not have any problems with either installation.
At this time, I do not know if this Invalid Serial Number is elusive to Photoshop Elements 12 or not.
If anyone is experiencing this problem with Premiere Elements, please let us know.

In my case, I had the network firewalls and anti-virus disabled when I did the installs of Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 7 64 bit as well as Windows 8 64 bit.
I was fortunate in that a 5th try of the serial number entry for the Photoshop Elements 12 install on Windows 7 64 bit was successful, so I did not have to do the computer restart and retry of the install with the purchased serial number. But, good to keep in mind, just in case.
It is ironic...last time around I got caught up in the Shared Technologies issues with Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 on Windows 8 64 bit, not Windows 7 64 bit. But, in that case, I did find my way eventually to a successful install on Windows 8 64 bit. This time around it was Windows 7 64 bit where the glitch occurred, but, for me, only for Photoshop Elements 12.
But, could you clarify...are you generalizing that Photoshop Elements 12 Mac Invalid Serial Number is due to server issues and Invalid Serial Number encountered by Photoshop Elements 12 Windows is "online - due to some firewall or network issues"?
Just getting prepared for if and when more questions on Invalid Serial Number might pop up in this forum.

Invalid Serial Number when using Customization Wizard to install Acrobat 8

Hello. I'm trying to install Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional using the Customization Wizard to create a transform. The serial number is for the volume license product, and I put this number in the space provided in the Wizard. Whenever I remotely deploy the msi file and the user opens the program, I get the following error: "You have entered an invalid serial number. Please reinstall Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and enter in a valid serial number when asked." The program then closes. This does not happen when I install from the CD.
Each of the workstations is a Gateway E-4500S running Windows XP SP2. Adobe Acrobat 7 Professional is uninstalled prior to installation of Acrobat 8, and Acrobat 8 exists alongside Adobe Reader 8.1.1. No other Adobe products are installed apart from Flash Player.

Correct. The CD installation goes without a hitch. I'm using Attachmate WinInstall to try to deploy the software remotely. It worked fine for Adobe Reader 8.1.1, but it's been a bear for Acrobat 8. I'd be okay with a straight CD installation if it didn't involve fifty machines.

Invalid Serial Number error installing Acro 8

I purchased Acrobat 8 a few years ago. Hard disk crashed. Now trying to download/install on new hd. Picked the only option on "Other Downloads" screen. After download it ran. I copy/pasted my SN from "My Products" screen when prompted so no typos are possible:
Serial: [removed by moderator - never share publicly](as shown on My Products screen!)
InstallShield installer says "Invalid serial number". I tried many times, with and without dashes. I don't remember if I bought "Pro" version or not because "My Products" doesn't show that information. I think it's trying to install "Pro" and maybe thats the problem? But there is no option to download a "non-Pro" version! It only shows:

You should to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues. In this case they may at least be able to tell you if it is a version issue. I need the program and because I have opened the box it can't be returned to the store. I have over $100 tied up in this product that I can't use. Someone said install the free trial version...Ok, I did...but it is just a 30 day trial and I want the full version of the product I paid for!! So how do I get a valid serial number? The serial number on the box and the redemption code card both come up as invalid. Not a very happy customer right now!!
