I have already installed one version of creative suite (educational edition) on one machine, (in april this year) I would now like to downloade the second version. How do I do it?

Whatever license you acquired is likely only good for one version of the software. If you mean you want to install the same version on a second machine then indicate which CS version of the software it is (do not say "educational version").

I successfully installed my Creative Suite 6 Production Premium product on my Mac, but now I need a copy on my home pc. I cant find instructions anywhere as to how to do this. A clear step by step guide would be useful.

I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium in 2010 i am rebuilding my hard drive. How do I redownload and install these. Will there be any different way to do it if I end up buying a new hard drive?

I'd try disabling the Twain_32.8BA plugin in
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins\Import-Export
You can disable the plugin by putting an ~ (tilde) in front of the name or moving the plugin to your desktop.
Then try photoshop cs2 and see if you still get the error message.
I suspect the error has to do with your scanner driver, since photoshop cs2 does not have an ausba4.dll

My understanding is that we are allowed to install one licensed version of Creative Suite software (or any Adobe software) on 2 machines. And so right throughout my creative career, I have always been able to install the software on my machine at home too for those times I need to work from home, even tho' it is registered under the company's name, with the company owning the license.
I just want to verify that this is indeed the case as I am moving to a new company and they seem to feel uncomfortable about my installing it on my machine at home because they own the license...
So my question is, are you not allowed to install it on TWO machines (the work machine and the home machine) as long as it is being used by ONE person only?
(I thought I'd ask here at the Adobe forums just to make absolutely sure:)

Yes, you can install and use the software on the 2nd machine so long your new company owns the license, the software is used but the same person who is using the primary installation (that is, you).

Trouble Installing Acrobat 9 Professional - Creative Suite 4

I bought a newer HP laptop months ago and loaded all the other components of Creative Suite 4 Design Premium -- Win 7 64 bit - with no issues.
I then tried to install Acrobat 9 Professional and keep getting error messages saying that one or more components dd not load correctly.
My antivirus was turned off and I rebooted after the first failed attempt. The 2nd attempt had the same results.
I've seen others with the same issue while trying to load Acrobat 9 Prof.
What is the "fix" to get this on my new laptop?

Installing InDesign Only from Creative Suite Disk

I wish to Install InDesign ONLY from my Creative Suite 2 Disk.
I have The full Creative Suite 4 collection of applications installed on my Mac Pro.
It resides on my NEW main hard drive. All of my copy of Creative Suite 2 was lost as per the drive failure.
I want to install InDesign on my new drive. I still have the Creative Suite 2 Disks from whch to do the installation but am not sure how to install only one applcation form them.
This is likely a simple procedure, but I hesitate to undertake it without knowing precisely how to do so.

Thank you. I'd never used InDesign in the past and given the resolution to this installation think I'll pass on doing so now.
CS4 Photoshop and Illustrator are my mainstays...and needing to reinstall them again might be more grief than it's worth.

Installed, licensed, and working Creative Suite CS3 fails. How do I clean Adobe off my system for new installation?

I run Macbook Pro with Mavericks. I have a licensed copy of Creative Suite CS3 installed. It simply stopped working. InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator close upon opening. Tried repairing the installation, uninstalling, and reinstalling. Didn't work. The reinstallation did no provide an opportunity to enter the serial number. Tried CS5cleaner. Didn't work. It left the applications installed and deleted the uninstall application. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

After effects cs4 won't install with the Adobe Creative Suite 4

yesterday I bought Adobe Creative Suite 4 Production Premium, i let it download through out the night and the next day i installed it and noticed that it came every single application except after effects cs4. there is no folder or icon for it, but everything else works. im in the process of uninstalling it and re-installing it, but i doubt it will help. i downloaded the after effects cs4 trail months ago, then deleted it. i don't think that's the problem though.I called adobe and was on hold for literally two hours, and when i was able to talk to someone they were not really able to help much.
im on a macbook, version 10.5.8
2.4 GHz intel core 2 duo
2 gb 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
EDIT: i installed it again, looked at the install options more closely and realesed that it does come with it, it just wont let me install it or check it to be installed, because it says its already installed. i checked all over my hard drive for it and its not there. i really need some help.

also if I waited and got after effects cs5 do you think it would actually work, and would i be able to get the student discount again?

We cannot know. We need exact system info. As a start, you might consider turning off UAC completely and running as admin...

How can i install and activate my Creative suite 2 Standard on my new computer??

My old computer was to slow after many years. Before I dumped it I removed the whole Creative Suite from the computor. Now it is inpossible to activate the program via internet or by telefone. trying to activate I get the message: "Activation Server Unavailable" and it didn´t work to avtivate by phone (tried several times, following the the steps accurately).
It´s a shame that a big company suddenly can make my very expensive and, for me nessesary program, totally worhtless after decemer 13 2012!!

They didn't. Adobe decommissioned the CS2 activation server last year.
They also made available non-activation versions of CS2 for existing CS2 customers to download.
Just re-download and re-install (no need for activation with CS2 any more).

Cannot install Student version of Creative Suite 6 Master Collection

Since I'm in college I bought the Student version of the Adobe creative suite Master Collection CS6. It installed fine at that time but that computer died and so I had to get a new one. This one is also running windows 7. When I run the disk it has no *run* option. Instead all I can do is open the folder and I don't see an exe or any kind of file to install it. What on earth do I do? I have to have this for my flash class.

How do I install Disc #2 CS4 creative Suite

Hi, I just bought the student edition of CS4. For some reason after I'm done installing disc 1, the installer closes and when I insert disc #2 there's no setup or anything, only two folders: extensions and payloads.
Anyone had any similar experience installing this? I don't know what to do next...

I am having a similar issue, but I noticed that the disks are labeled 'Applications' and 'Content'. I click on the 'Setup' application on disk 1, the Applications disk, and I can install everything EXCEPT Photoshop!
Anyone else experiencing this? I checked the disk (1, applications) and there is a folder called 'payloads' which has a couple of .dmg files in it for photoshop. For some reason, it is not allowing me to select it as an installation in the setup though. I have submitted a ticket to Adobe to see if they have a solution. A major pain though, as I bought this specifically to use photoshop for my photography programme at university. In fact, the Design Standard suite was cheaper than just photoshop!!
