Installatio der CS3-Suite unter einem anderen Laufwerk als C

Hallo,
wie kann ich bei der Installation der CS3-Suite einstellen, dass diese nicht auf die Systempartition installiert wird. Die Programme liegen bei mir unter E: und ich habe nur eine sehr kleine Systempartition die ich nicht zumüllen möchte.
Hat da jemand eine Idee?

Und interessiert das jemanden? Das ist Schwachsinn. Offiziell sind von Adobe erst Produkte ab CS4 auf Win 7 zertifiziert, egal ob nun 32bit oder 64bit. Ansonsten kann man zu deinem Problem nicht viel sagen, aber da in deinem Crash alle Speicheroffsets auf Null stehen, ist das recht eindeutig ein Prozessorproblem - dir fehlt irgendein Mainboard-Treiber, irgendeine BIOS-Einstellung ist falsch oder dir fehlt einfach nur irgendeine blöde DLL irgendwo. Auf jeden Fall raucht die Kiste halt wegen eines unzulässigen Funktionsaufrufs ab...

Jetzt soll ichs lösen ;-) Frau & Kinder am Pool, ich in einer Hotellobby am Lake Powell / Arizona mit langsamen WLAN. Ich bin recht firm am Windows PC mit Win7, aber am Mac machen mir momentan die einfachsten Kommandos Schwierigkeiten (a la Rechtsklick auf dem Touchpad, Suchfunktionen im Finder oder überhaupt dort ne vernünftige Ordnerstruktur zu finden). scheint meinem Problem am ähnlichsten, allerdings kommt beim Doppelklick auf die Mediathek und Gedrückthalten der Command Taste kein Menü, sondern Iphoto öffnet sich und die Fehlermeldung erscheint. Bevor ich irgendetwas mache, möchte ich die Fotos oder Mediathekdatei sichern. Dazu werde ich wohl eine externe Festplatte brauchen, die hier in Page (ein anderer großer Ort ist hier nicht in der Nähe und leider auch kein AppleStore) gekauft werden muss. Bitte Bitte bitte, denkt daran, ihr habt es mit einem Apple Dummy zu tun, ich fuchse mich gerade ein mit Shortcuts und Kommandos via Touchfeld, aber ich begrüße eine Schritt für Schritt Anleitung ;-) Ich danke euch.

ich bin gerade in den USA: also habe ich den kostenfreien Support angerufen.
ANWEISUNG zur Lösung:
2 Tasten gedrückt halten (cmd UND alt Tasten)
und dann mit Doppelklick iPhoto öffnen. Dann sollte das Menü aufgehen mit Reperaturmöglichkeiten, die letzte Option auswählen (anklicken) --> Datenbank neu erstellen und dann weiter oder enter.
dann arbeitet es ein Weilchen und alles war wieder da.

However, when I phone product support, it says there is no product support for CS3 and to go to the Forums.

Problems installing Illustrator and Indesign from CS3 suite

I am trying to install Illustrator and Indesign from CS3 suite. Previously I had been running a trial version on my Mac, and now am trying to install the suite from the original install discs. I have gone through the process of uninstalling all of the Adobe programs and then reinstalling. When the install disc loads up and I get to the point where it lists the programs to install, in the top box Illustrator and Indesign are listed as already being installed and have no option to install them. When I search my computer there are no Illustrator or Indesign applications. I am able to reinstall the rest of the suite and it seems to work fine but can't seem to figure out what step I'm missing as far as reinstalling Illustrator and Indesign are concerned.

I haven't tried doing it on Vista but I would recommend looking for
Adobe clean up programs. The problem I had was that the computer had
a trial version and then I tried to install the full version and it
wouldn't let me install illustrator because there were some random
illustrator files that conflicted with the installation process. I
ran clean up program and it removed all adobe files. Then I
reinstalled photoshop. Before you start running clean up programs
make sure you back everything up. Good luck

Deployment Question - Reserialize CS3 Suite on OS X

We want to build a package installer for our technicians to be able to go out and install Creative Suite CS3 that contains all of the updates. To build the package, we install, which requires a serial number, and then perform all of the updates. After that, we need to unserialize so that we can make a package installer. We have been able to figure out that deleting the Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD/cache/ will unserialize the app, prompting us to serialize on next boot, but Acrobat no longer works after this process. Has anyone come up with a workable way to unserialize CS3 suite so it can be serialized?

Thank you for the suggestion try67, I'll attempt to be a little more clear. For many of our customers, we get the volume license of CS3 and we are able to build drive images for them with CS3 and all the updates. The process I am talking about is the ability to create a package installer, which we can do with many other applications. For most applications, it goes like this..
1. Take a snapshot of the machine.
2. Install the application
3. Install all updates
4. De-serialize the software (most applications automatically do this when they notice they're on another system)
4. Take another snapshot of the machine.
5. Create a package installer of the CS3 installation with all the current updates.
Why do this? We service 1000's of systems over 100's of customers and have many technicians that have to install the CS3 suite. We don't want to spend more time on this task then is necessary. Additionally, it saves the customer money because the package installer is significantly faster than the CD/DVD install and the technician doesn't have to sit there repetitively installing Adobe updates. The other option is for us to take those site licenses, put them on machines and build package installers of those every time there is an Adobe update, not a very realistic option. Plus, that doesn't help us with the small installations that don't have site licensing.
The ability to build a package installer is useful regardless as to if you are a single person shop or you have lots of technicians. The only people who don't like package installers or disk images are those that like to overcharge the customer
As far as conforming to the EULA, some of our customers are large Adobe customers and they build these package installers all the time (on Windows and Mac). Their lawyers have already vetted the process through the EULA. To be clear, the installer is not serialized, so once it is installed, the serial number must be added to make the software active.
If you look at CS3 suite, you can easily make a package installer based upon my initial post, but the reserialization routine in CS3 does not reserialize Acrobat. All we're asking is that the routine handle all the applications that came with the suite or some method of calling the proper routine that will reserialize Acrobat.

Install Illustrator CS2 on Machine w/ CS3 Suite?

Hi, we have one computer that has the full CS3 suite installed on it only. It is running Leopard from a clean install.
We just found out that Illustrator dropped support for AutoCad files (that's just great!) in CS3, so we need to install a version of just Illustrator CS2 on this machine for compatibility.
All of our CS2 suites were upgrades (so was our CS3 suite). When we go to install using the CS2 install disk, we enter our previous CS1 serial number when it asks (since it is was an upgrade). But when we get to a screen to select components, ONLY Photoshop is available as an option. Everything else is grayed out.
- How can we install JUST Illustrator CS2 on a machine with CS3?

IIRC, you're going to need to uninstall CS3 before installing CS2.
Check the readme files. I think it may be covered there.

Nein, ist es nicht. Erst mit CC werden Retina-Displays unterstützt, CS3 läuft auf aktuellen Versionen auch nicht mehr.

Installing photoshop cs4 extended with cs3 suite

Hi,
I would like to install photoshop cs4 extended with cs3 suite on the same drive.
Is it possible? Should I uninstall photoshop cs3 (not extended) from the drive first?
Should I use the WinCS4Cleanupscript before I do that.
I dont want to uninstall the whole suite cs3.

CS3 will co-exist quite happily on your computer with CS4.
Do not remove it until you are completely satisfied with the new version!
There is absolutely no need for the clean script at this point. It is only to clear up after messed up un-installs.

I am unable to install the CS3 Suite on a Mac PPC running Snow Leopard.
In the installation screen, I am getting the following message: The minimum system requirements listed below are needed in order to run Adobe Encore CS3 and are not met:
Support for CPU Extension SSE2.
This message is repeated for Soundbooth, and Premier
Am I getting this message because the software was originally designed to run on an earlier version of the Mac operating system or is this hardware message?

I thought the entire CS3 suite would run on a G5...

That is a hardware message, which is telling you that the hardware/firmware inside the CPU is missing a required element
Since I don't know anything about a Mac or Mac OS, this "could" have something to do with compatibility with the OS version you have... but I would take it at face value and say your CPU is missing internal commands that are needed for CS3

I wrote a VI in which only is a short dead time. however, the 0,2 seconds at the beginning are still there.
In the picture "Program" I marked the parameters with which you can adjust the delay time that comes in between.
The picture "Totzeit" showes the delay time.
But there is no possibility to make a continuous recording and analyze that at the same time?

Find updates to CS3 Suite

So I needed to update a computer to Win 8.1 from Vista to load the new creative suite. I was in a hurry and while I knew I had all my data saved, programs got wiped in the update. I would love to reload, my LICENSED copy of CS3 Creative Suite Design Premium on to another computer and get the updates. The install went fine and it is activated. I don't have a link to program updates, 10.1 etc... Adobe tech support looks at supplying a link as support and sent me here. Anyone out there have links to the PS, InDesign, Acrobat and Illustrator updates?

MacBook Black Adobe CS3 Suite

How well does the MacBook Black handle the Adobe CS3 Suite?
I prepare large documents for different groups (some being as many as 50 pages) and operate InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and a Word Processor all at the same time.
My largest concern is that I have to have some of the images I get in High Quality Display. With that alone CS2 will run slower and with the other two or three programs running on the Powerbook G4 I currently use, using CS2 and CS seems to work a lot better than CS3.
I know it probably has to do with the RAM, but will the RAM be able to handle this software system?

Yea that has all mainly to do with RAM and CPU, so MacBook is fine. 2GB recommended, but 4GB if you can afford it does things best.

Well believe it or not
As Larry says, it's a $15 app. For that you get a lot, but not everything. Perhaps if you pay more you'll get an application that does what you want. Aperture, for instance, can export projects and import projects from Library to Library.
