Installation and performance wonderful!

Question

Just completed installation and testing of Aperture 3. 20K images, mostly RAW from Canon 40D and 5DM2 (11 to 23 MB RAW files), around 300GB.
Ran Consistency Check and then Rebuild on Aperture 2 libraries before starting move to Aperture 3.
Backed up Aperture 2 Libraries on several hard drives (belt and suspenders).
Installed from Ap 3 disk.
Did software updates re slideshows and new RAW update.
Turned off Faces (can run this later).
Did not reprocess files, just the update. I will reprocess as needed, when I want to use new tools on old files.
Update on both Mac Pro (2006, 2.66GHZ, 7GB ram) and MacBook Pro (2008, 2.5 GHZ, 4 GB ram). No other application slowed down at all during update. Update took about two hours on each machine.
Library and adjustments are very snappy.
Printing went exceedingly well, after re-entering my presets.
Image Browser shows Aperture library.
Not a single problem so far. I've spent almost a week reading the posts here and I've seen all the problems some people have had.
In my view, a very, very impressive new version.

I know it really probably will not help but I submitted a bug report.

Summary:
Major issue with Aperture 3 when converting A2 library's and projects to A3.
Steps to Reproduce:
Senerio 1. Open an existing aperture library. It tells you you will need to convert the library conversion only gets to about 5%.
Senerio 2. Importing and not converting an existing A2 library into a A3 library.
Senerio 3. Reprocessing masters on a imported A2 project.
Expected Results:
Conversion, importing processing needs to keep from locking up the system and making it unusable.
Actual Results:
Uses all systems resources and creates a 43+ gig swap file. Used 100% of both cores of my 2.0 ghz 2009 mac mini, and used all of the ram.
Regression:
System: Spring 2009 Mac mini. 2.0 ghz core duo, 2 gigs of DDR3 ram, Snow Leopard 10.6.2 , Aperture 3.

Possible work a rounds 32bit mode will test tonight. "
